From the moment the Democrats began nailing together their Frankenstein socialized medicine bill, the vast majority of Americans rebelled against it. From the Tea Party revolt to the raucous town hall meetings to the 2009 and 2010 Republican victories in Congress and governorships and state houses around the nation, Americans held up their collective hand and said, "Enough!"
President Obama and the Democrats didn't care what the people they're supposed to represent wanted. They steamed ahead, ramming through ObamaCare on a strictly party-line vote and patting themselves on the back for seizing more freedom from the American people.
From the start, ObamaCare has polled badly. Many more people opposed it than supported it. And a big majority always supported its full repeal.
Today, the Washington Post and ABC News released a new poll showing opposition to ObamaCare at a record high (at least for their polling) 53%. Support for it is at a record low of 39%.
The reason for this is two-fold: contrary to the Democrats' hope that the more we saw of this monstrosity, the more we'd like it, the more we see of it (its massive new taxes and regulations, its rationing, its unaccountable government control, its costs, its restrictions on access, its overall destruction of health care), the more we hate it.
And the second reason is that we heard the arguments before the Supreme Court. Even the administration's own lawyers had no real defense for it. The very fact that it's before the Supreme Court is reason enough for most thinking people to realize that ObamaCare is a giant, freedom-sucking, unconstitutional, socialist stinkbomb.
If the Supreme Court doesn't kill it, then we must drive a stake through its heart by electing a Republican president and Congress to strangle this anti-American piece of legislative garbage once and for all.
Electing a Republican Congress will assure us that the top 1% will be protected, while the lower 50% (or more) will be taxed to death to pay for their welfare programs like otherwise uninsurable beach-front homes...
It will also ensure more privacy and rights being lost. More freedom, privacy, and rights were killed under Bush than any other ten Presidents. More unwanted children with less assistance, less unemployment, Social Security raped, etc., etc...
BYW Monica, you can stop selling the anti-Obamacare crap. The SCOTUS will take care of it. No use beating a dead horse.

There you go again. More than half of the disapproval of "ObamaCare" was from the left because there was no public option to compete with Big Insura to force prices down.
Far more Americans disapproved of it BECAUSE IT DIDN'T GO FAR ENOUGH than went nuts over "Big" "government" "takeover" of "health".

There are ways around ANYTHING the SCOTUS says or does, ESPECIALLY when it's against the will of the majority of the American People.
And guess what? The majority want health care for all, and it's coming.

1. You will lose the House in November, and the Senate will gain Dem seats.
2. There WILL be healthcare for all, and finally:
3. Eventually 1950 tax rates on the 1% will pay both for healthcare for all nicely AND the CIA's need to get black op money from Congress in lieu of the end of the Afghaninam drug poppy trade.

Sorry, John, but that's one hell of a MASSIVE tax burden between 51% and 99%.
But no matter what you say. It will be fixed. The PEOPLE demand it.
And what the People demand, they get. One way or the other.
One way for the 1% is paying 1950 tax levels sooner rather than later.
The other is the 1% paying everything they have at the guillotine.

WND///Barack Obama, George Soros, “La Raza” and the entire liberal political establishment has launched a multi-million dollar campaign to destroy “America’s Toughest Sheriff.”
They are spending millions of your tax dollars in an effort to place federal bureaucrats as “monitors” in his Maricopa County office -- to stop him from doing the job voters elected him to do!
Crazed supporters of amnesty for illegal aliens just held a protest demanding that the federal government step in and strip Joe of his powers.
And left-wing billionaire George Soros has pledged to spend $10 million to defeat Sheriff Joe for reelection!

RIGHTWING NEWS/////At this late date, at a minimum, I’d still prefer Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry, Tim Pawlenty, Rick Santorum, Jon Huntsman, and anybody who came out of a brokered convention over Mitt Romney. That’s because Mitt’s not a conservative, he was a mediocre governor, I don’t really know where he stands on any issue, and I think he is below average in electability. There’s not much of a point to continuing to hammer that message home after today since Mitt has it all but locked up, but it’s worth noting there were a lot of more conservative, more electable candidates in the race whom the GOP establishment helped to methodically beat down in order to clear a path for Romney.
Still, as Donald Rumsfeld might say, you go to war with the politician you have, not the politician you might wish to have — and I have always said, from day one, that if it came down to Mitt and Barack Obama, I’d prefer to have Romney in the White House.

NEWT GINGRICH/////While acknowledging that Romney will “be the nominee” if he is successful in attaining 1,144 undisputed delegates, Gingrich said he would still go to Tampa to help shape the Republican platform on behalf of the 180,000 donors who have made mostly small contributions of $250 and less to his campaign.
“I think we need a party platform that is conservative and not Etch A Sketch. There are solid conservatives that want a conservative platform and I want to represent them,” he insisted.
Asked to elaborate on the platform issues he would take to Tampa, Gingrich cited the importance of a plan for America to gain energy independence so that “no future president will ever bow to a Saudi King,” a running theme in his campaign as well as the need for a balanced budget and paying down the national debt.

While it is true that the those making less then $50,000 pay less income tax than the GOP would like, they can thank previous GOOPER administrations for that; not Obama.
BTW: They still pay PLENTY of taxes...
The current tax system is unfair both ways. A Flat tax is an idiotic idea; benefitting the wealthy the most. The only Fair tax is a National Sales tax.

The oil speculators that falsely drove up the price of oil over the past few months —by as much as $20 a barrel—may have gotten the message that the Administration wasn’t going to sit idly by and let them mess up our recovery just so they could make more money.
Last month, I wrote a two part series attempting to explain what was happening with gasoline prices and who might be to blame for the precipitous rise. In Part II of the series, I noted the profound impact the money managers were having on our pocketbooks through their speculative behavior—behavior that had resulted in non-industry traders buying the equivalent of 372 million barrels of oil through a variety of futures contracts. In making the point that these folks were the true villains behind the unnecessary rise in gasoline prices, I noted what Bloomberg had to say on the topic –
(Also from that Forbes article.)
Conservatives," Don't care. Won't blame speculators. Who also drove up oil when Egypt started having their uprising.
Me blame Obama. Obama bad. Dems bad. Conservatives good!"

The rich pay the most because they make most of the income!
The top 1% have gone from pre-depression of making 23% of the income, then from about 1950-1979 they made 8-10%. Now, they make 24%.
While many of those who pay 0 taxes, is because of deductions that the government allows them.
