Two things happened yesterday:
First, President Obama gave a press conference during which he was absolutely pitiful: evasive, arrogant, dismissive, duplicitous. In other words, just another day as president.
And second, the Republicans got a little---but not much---clarity on the presidential primary race. Mitt Romney won six of the ten states holding contests, including Ohio. In some of those states, his victory was slim and he had to burn through a lot of dough to get it. But a win is a win is a win, and it's way better than a loss. Rick Santorum had a good night, winning three races: Tennessee, Oklahoma and North Dakota. Those victories will keep him in the race, and position him well for the upcoming contests in Alabama and Mississippi. Newt Gingrich had a nice night, picking up a win in his home state of Georgia. That was a must-win for him, and he got it, which will propel his campaign, for a little while anyway. Ron Paul performed well in most states, with his rabid base of support coming out and giving him about 40% of the vote in Virginia, where just he and Romney were on the ballot. He's going to hang in there no matter what in order to have an impact on the party platform at the convention.
So, where are we after last night? Romney has expanded his delegate lead and is still the most likely GOP nominee. But the bloody war of attrition continues. Some folks argue that it's damaging the candidates. While that's true to some extent, I also think it's a positive exercise for them. What they're facing from each other is nothing compared to what Obama, Axelrod, Plouffe and Jarrett have cooking for the fall. They'd better work out all the kinks, get their weaknesses on the table, hone their debating and campaign skills, and get used to the art of battle NOW. Because if they can't take incoming from their own side, there's no way they're going to be able to turn back the weapons of Team Obama.
We will get a nominee. I do hope it's sooner rather than later. But the process---as brutal as it is---is making the eventual nominee a much better candidate---even if he (and we) don't quite see it yet.
Good News: Progressive Libtard Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) has seen his end of days in the US government. It was funny to hear Liberal Pukes Maddow and Mathews slobbering and whining.
Other Useful idiots who have deluded themselves into thinking some sort of Liberal landslide will occur in November are in for a rude awakening...

Mostly Republicans voted in the primary :-), and apparently they punished the incumbent.
WE can read about NASA security breaches in an English newspaper :
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2110506/Chinese-hackers-control-Nasa-lab-commands-23-spacecraft.html
---------------
Hard to believe people at JPL care about security, leaving laptops all over the place for people to pick up. Just let the Chinese scholars use them. National security, who needs it?
Just as Breitbart took on Babylon (sans GLTGs), we need someone to take on JPL apparatchiki. Clearly free access to these systems is the road to peace, and the cessation of spying, right? Thats what people in the universities are being taught. Who will tell them otherwise?

The Party of the Big Lie
Timothy Carney at the Washington Examiner quotes Sen. Schumer on the birth control mandate controversy:
Schumer: "This whole debate is an anachronism. Our country progressed beyond the issue of whether or not to allow birth control a long time ago. Yet here we are in 2012, and the Republican Party suddenly wants to turn back the clock and take away contraception from women. Make no mistake: that’s what this debate is about."

Has anyone looked into Schumer's family and associates? Is he eligible to be in office? I mean, isn't there a rule against having too many foreign agents as buddies?
I mean, Russian friends for example... who only want to have a good time ... discuss global politics with the intent to screw up US programs, drink vodka, and have ez sex without complications. Hey, Chuck, what is the new evac plan? Half to Russia, and half underground again?

Romney need not gloat over his win in VA. I can only imagine the result had Virginians had a chance for a complete ballot. With 97% of Virginia precincts reporting at 8:50pm the voter turnout was only 5%. Very sad if GOP nominates Romney because the nation will see a very low voter turnout in the general election. Funny that the elites say he is the only one who can beat Obama. He doesn't have a chance. The only candidate on the front page of my local paper on Wednesday in VA was Rick Santorum.
Posted by: S. G. Hood | March 07, 2012 at 10:23 AM
The saddest thing about Romney winning the primary is the christianist social issues nutcases will STILL think THEY had MORE of a chance with Rikki Santorum.
Four more years of decreasing GOP membership and coffers should effectively dissuade them of that notion, along with the GOP rout in November.
But then, nuts is nuts is nuts.

I'd suggest Romney, et al, start reading their Alinsky, Breitbart, etc., and start thinking about how they're going to get the message out, as well. If they don't use the new media and get out of the old way of thinking, they will fail as miserably as John McCain did. McCain wouldn't fight(although Palin did), and look what it got us.
Of course, if the GOP were thinking at all, we wouldn't be looking at Romney in the first place. Give me Sarah Palin/Allen West '12. How's that for shaking things up?

Bill Maher Stands Up For Rush Limbaugh, Decries Advertiser Intimidation
http://www.mediaite.com/online/bill-maher-stands-up-for-rush-limbaugh-decries-advertiser-intimidation/
Bill Maher stood up for beseiged talk show host Rush Limbaugh via Twitter late Tuesday, tweeting “Hate to defend #RushLimbaugh but he apologized, liberals looking bad not accepting. Also hate intimidation by sponsor pullout.”
RELATED: Sarah Palin Demands Obama Super PAC Return Bill Maher’s Campaign Donation
Maher has come under fire from Limbaugh and others in recent days for his own previous sexist comments directed towards conservative women. Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called upon President Obama’s Super PAC to give back Maher’s donation. “For the sake of everyone’s daughter, why doesn’t his super PAC return the $1 million he got from a rabid misogynist?” Fox News contributor Kirsten Powers also criticized Maher in a high profile column in The Daily Beast, calling him the “the grand pooh-bah of media misogyny” and asked readers to “[i]magine now the same joke during the 2008 primary with Michelle Obama’s name in it, and tell me that he would still have a job.” (h/t Washington Examiner)

Ummah,
This is exactly why I (and Rudy Giuliani) say that Newt, the OWFF (Old White Fat Fugg) would be more feared by the Marxelrods than Wall Street Willard will ever be. The "electability" of Romney is a joke. Tell me about Newt's ancient "baggage." They know that he'll take them on like Willard NEVER will. They also know that Willard is still standing ONLY because he has vastly out-spent and out-slimed every rival in sight---and will not be able to do that against the Billion Dollar Class War Blitzkrieg that's coming.
It's as plain as the botox on Nancy Pelosi. Can anybody not see this?
I've been saying it for a while now: If the GOP anoints Willard, the Marxelrods will have turkey well before November 25. Everything since is showing me that my view is ominously on target. Romney will do more to depress conservatives than McCain. There was still residual grudging respect for McCain as a warrior. Romney can get that kind of respect and admiration, but only on Wall Street as a corporate raider. It does not compute in a national election! Romney would spell disaster in November---barring the unpredictable, like $6 oil or something.
Santorum? A raw rookie. (Watch him settle for Romney's VP, if it came to that.) Gingrich is the old pro who knows what's coming and what to do about it. His "baggage" is old. Romney's phoniness is on-going, perennial. It never ages.
