ANOTHER BLACK MAN RAISES CAIN

Black Pastor Sues Obama & Democratic Party for Racism

I recently interviewed a man who is suing the Obama administration for racial discrimination–against white people. Normally I wouldn’t describe anyone by their skin color, but it’s interesting to note in this instance that the man filing the lawsuit is Black.

I'm starting to think that Donald Trump is a self-serving publicity hound who is inserting himself into the GOP Primary Process for shall we say personal reasons.

Of course he knows what is bothering Mainstream America and he clearly stated all our points.

Which indicates that the rest of them also know how we think and feel as they do their best to work around us, just as the EU is working around the Europeans, many of whom refer to the EU as EUSSR.

Herman Cain is maybe the most interesting candidate even compared to Ron Paul. He has one gigantic obstacle. The Rush Limbaugh propaganda machine has attempted to spin every incompetence of Obama to be because he is black. They have even managed to get away with constantly using the old racial epithet, manchild, implying blacks have the mental capacity of children or monkeys. Would any party take the chance of running a black guy again?

Does he recognize any duty at all residing in the federal government? It seems he might abandon all to the states, not even standing up for second amendment rights as much as Justice Alito did in the Chicago case.

His 999 Plan shows he has the courage others lack to put up something specific. It at least gives a starting point to change the system. Sarah Palin probably has a better idea to cut corporate income tax to zero. Corporations are governments. Rush has a point when he says government doesn't create wealth, so corporations really own no income to tax. If he really means the 9% consumption tax to be applied to everything, that would be a totally regressive tax which would impose great hardships and stifle the economy. It would be exactly opposite of the completely progressive taxes set up by the founding fathers in which only those who were wealthy enough to buy imported products or indulge in whiskey paid taxes. They understood developing capitalism and prosperity necessitated leaving people at the bottom with disposable income.

At least Cain has the ability to sound inspirational which is largely lacking in the others.

I like Cain, I like Perry, what I do not particularly like is when Cain stated Perry was not ready for prime time.......up to that pt I thought Perry/Cain, Cain/Perry would have been a very viable ticket.....however it seems that the republican candidates seem to be the gang that can't shoot straight........in other words the shots they are taking at one another & NOT THE INCUMBANT are not helping & the fickleness of the voter is again another problem........

I was a Florida Straw Poll delegate. In addition to being long-time Monica fans, my wife and I went to the straw poll firmly in Perry's camp. We listened to Perry more than any other candidate, and even spent time with his staff. Bottom line - we voted for Cain. He is simply the best candidate. Anyone who thinks a vote for Cain was a "none-of-the-above" vote was not in the convention hall! Many folks I spoke to dispassionately went with Romney or Perry, but their hearts were with Herman. The hall EXPLODED when he was announced. My honest opinion is that if folks voted their hearts, he would have received 75%. Cain may be our next President. I am volunteering for his campaign.

DJ

My faves in the field have narrowed to three: Cain Bachmann and Paul. Those are the only candidates that represent agents for change. The rest are status quo.

BTW, it think it's worth pointing out the fact that many pundits are making excuses for Perry's inarticulateness in the debates as contrasted to Romney's polished style. They say Perry is "new at this". With practice he'll improve they say. Well, Cain is even newer and he is as articulate, lucid and cogent as any on stage; maybe moreso. The sad fact is no amount of practice will get Perry up to speed. Cain was being generous when he said Perry is not ready for prime time.

Wow. LIEberal SPIN at its finest. However the libs may spin against Cain, the candidate THEY DO NOT WANT US TO NOMINATE (for all the liberal reasons), WE should take that as a sign that this is the guy they least want to go against (for all the liberal reasons) the won, the manchild.

There goes the race card.. which is why whitelibs are busily working on the Uncle Tom card with nodding approval from blacklibs, who are just chomping at the bit to join in the chorus.

Shows what a deeply racist bunch they all are.

A qualified black candidate shows up, is embraced by the Tea Party and is poised to run agains their chocolate wonderchild.

CAN'T HAVE THAT!

How can we play the race card from now on!!!!

DJ's been hoaxed (what else is new?) by it's okay, so was the BBC (in the same manner that a degree from Penn State would qualify one for career as a cabbie, plus a rent-control apt):

"Rastani is a member of Yes Men, a collective of impersonators. Was his little talk a hoax? When I reached Rastani in London to ask, he spouted some vague wisdom, mentioned his “trader friends,” and insisted that trading is his obsession. He started off the conversation:

AR: I had something to tell you guys. The guy who wrote [on Forbes] mistakenly wrote that I’m a Wall Street trader. I’m not an institutional trader. I wouldn’t dream of ever doing that. I trade my own money, my own account. That’s what I always wanted to do. I like the idea of not having a boss. I did work for one institution, but I realized I want to do it for myself. I just started, and I worked with some of the best traders in the world. I saw how they were doing things. Eventually I developed my own style."

So, DJ, the sky may be indeed be falling.. but probably not today :)

Just want to back-track a bit. Twenty-five years ago, I tried to argue the merits of replacing income tax with a national sales tax. If you can afford to buy a Mercedes, you pay more tax than if you buy a VW--fair.
After reading up on Cain's site, this basically is the plan he calls a fair tax. Everyone should check out his site. He actually has his ideas out there already.

It will be interesting when the media realizes that Romney's LDS religion teaches that the first murderer was Cain. God punished him by turning his skin black... Wonder how Romney will play that one?

I like Monica's article above. Cain is the real deal. A lot of the blogosphere has been saying the same thing and come to the same sorry conclusion. All say, " I'm not sure if he can build on his current momentum or if voters will default to Romney or Perry or another professional pol.", or some variation thereof...
I mentioned earlier that for us ordinary people the Primaries are the whole game: a chance to shape our government the way WE want it to be. "Corporate Charley at Goper Central" will most certainly be there for the general election.. so have some fun!

There is a constituency for these policies even if you yourself do not like them. The difference with Cain is that is special interest is the voter.

BTW, the slavish adherence by liberals towards Obama in light of Obama's record is stunning: Obama has governed to the right of Bush and you know it.
Both camps have a strong case of "evil of two lesser" disease and nobody gets what they want except corporate charlie.
So, why not go break the mold... at least in the Primaries?! Oh, I forgot. The Dems are not having a primary this year.
Register Green for the Primary if you are a true liberal or go pick a Socialist.
Now the Republicans, thanks to the TP, might want to re-invent themselves. That is a good thing. I have optimism of the spirit if not pessimism of the mind that reform may indeed be possible and people take charge of the corporations. However as we see here on MM, most is just bluster and the big talk from little men is as limp as their...
They, to a man, have already explicitly stated that will support the corporate candidate come what may.

The tea party?
Most disliked group in the country. even more so than Muslims, Atheists and such. seems people don't like the holding things hostage tactic that the TP and the GOP is taking.
Holding unemployment benefits, help for disaster victims, for the 9/11 responders, etc.
The more people learn about conservatives, the more there is to dislike.

Funny how the right calls Obama anti-business. When business holds record profits, the wealthy is getting richer. The middle class is going broke.

Chief Joe

Where is Abel?

There are reasons Cain is not an attractive candidate. First, he kills me with that pizza business. Sign me up, and where do you want me to deliver? Would Wall St really respect him, and would he be just like Obama?

Ummahgummah

.

Why is Cain not an attractive candidate, Chief Joe? Haven't you hard of the Florida Straw poll and the comments of the Memo faithful?

.

Jay

From the washington Monthly:
"First, after this brutal fiasco undermined the economy and made the United States an international laughingstock, the leading Senate Republican fully expects to do this again. McConnell believes his party has “learned” the value in pursuing this, regardless of the consequences. I wonder if voters might want to consider this before the 2012 elections.

Second, it’s a little surprising to hear him concede that “most” Republicans didn’t think the hostage should be shot. If that’s true, maybe next time, Democrats shouldn’t pay the ransom?

And third, note that McConnell was quite candid in his choice of words. It’s not just Democrats talking about Republicans taking “hostages” and demanding “ransoms”; here’s the leading Senate Republican using the exact same language. In other words, Mitch McConnell admitted, out loud and on the record, that his party took the full faith and credit of the United States hostage, demanded a ransom, and they fully intend to do it again.

Given all of this, it’s rather bizarre for Republicans to complain about being equated with terrorists. As Dave Weigel noted yesterday, “If you don’t want your opponent to label you a hostage-taker, here’s an idea: Don’t take hostages."

And, ANYONE who USES the 9/11 responders has hostages.
Is about as UnAmerican as you can get!

How did that Dragon get on my bedroom ceiling!

Jay

Steve, In favor of?
The what made this country great. Not the corporations at the expense of the middle class.
Funny how when the pre depression years the top 2 % made 24% of the income. From the 1950s to the 1980s because of the GI bill, and other such programs that made it possible for more people to get a better education, training, etc, they only made 8-10%. Now, they make 22%.
What happened in the 1980s? Huge tax cuts, go back to Clinton's 39%. he did better that Bush with his 35% and 2 wars.

From what I've seen about tea partiers. They don't want a United States as much as they want 50 divided states on a piece of land. Their going back to the times of our founding fathers.
The old, "Our fouding fathers didnt have to pay a gasoline tax" mindset.

Times have changed so much, how do poeple REALLY know what they would have wanted in these times.

We need to rebuild infrastructure, and other items that the OLD GOP was for But, not the new one.

Jay

And, since the gap between the wealthy and middle class is greater than ever before. This,"Redistribtution of Income" is NOT going from the top down. But, from the middle class UP!

And will correct:
They don't want a United States as much as they want 50 divided states on a piece of land.Their getting rid of the federal government as much as they can. Their going back to the times of our founding fathers. "If, they didn't have it, why should we?"
The old, "Our founding fathers didnt have to pay a gasoline tax" mindset.

Steve Morgan

There you go again. Why does it bother you so that right populism is organized and petitioning government while leveraging their power.

You have yet to answer my question. As a liberal do you feel that Obama has governed from the center-left or from the center-right? Since his policies have been skewed more in the direction of GWB why are you not out there countering with a progressive agenda?

I think the answer is that liberals are 'conservative' in that they do not want government to represent them and are content to sit on their hands waiting for Chris or Rachel to define reality for them. Since they demand nothing, they get nothing. Liberals prefer to make a sport of lampooning the working poor and it is about to come bite them in the butt.

The fact is that Obama will get more money from Wall St than any Republican rival. 3 to 1.
That will re-elect him.
Obama is the Plutocrat.
Not Cain.
If Democrats had spine they run a challenger to the plutocrat.
They won't.
How about you?

Typical liberal racist twaddle. In fact this is more venal than twaddle, since it lies outright about Limbaugh, his disgust with their self-righteous PC police and his fearless dissection of the Democrats and their "professional Negro" which is exactly what a scam artist like Obama is.

This is also a technique used by the Stalin racists of the KGB in their disinformatsya strategy and the Hitler racists in their jihad against Jews and Slavs. This crypto-lib illustrates it perfectly. You dishonestly generalize from a particular. Eg. Limbaugh dissects the phoniness and incompetence and socialism of Obama. The liberal racist then uses this to declare that Limbaugh is saying or implying this about everyone of Obama's hue.
