My only reference to Perry?
He has the same radical religious baggage as Obama has with Reverend Wright.

Except while Obama has one such biblical extremeist.
Perry has a whole group.

One, John Hagee:
John Hagee, a San Antonio pastor whose endorsement for former Republican presidential candidate John McCain was retroactively declined in reaction to Hagee’s sermons preaching Hitler was a hunter sent by God to kill Jewish people, and calling the Catholic church “the great whore.”

Another:
Cindy Jacobs, who claims birds are dying because of the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell; John Benefiel, a self-proclaimed “apostle” who asserts the Statue of Liberty is a “demonic idol” and homosexuality is a strategy designed by the Illuminati to control global population; and C. Peter Wagner, who likens himself to a prophet equal to Christ and has promoted the destruction of Catholic, Mormon and non-Christian religious objects. Wagner contends Japan’s economic and environmental woes were caused by paganism brought on by Sun Goddess that had sexual intercourse with Japan’s Emperor.

This is just part of the Take Control of Washington, the arts, Entertainment,Education and others, group.

Here's something for those who like to deal with the facts:

Race and crime in Wisconsin
Aug 8th, 2011 by Unamused

This summer, Milwaukee, WI has suffered a series of racially motivated black-on-white mob attacks. Local police and media were forced to address the problem after the July 3 mob, when 50–60 black teens looted a gas station, then assaulted and brutally beat 15–20 innocent white people while laughing, throwing full beer bottles, and using racial slurs. The national media took notice only after last Thursday’s (August 4) mob, when hundreds of young blacks targeted white people leaving the State Fair, pulling them out of cars and beating them, and hospitalized two responding police officers.

In light of these events, it is important to know the facts about race and crime in Wisconsin.

Demographics
In 2010, according to the US Census Bureau, Wisconsin was 86.2 percent “white” and 6.3 percent black, for a “white”-to-black ratio of 13.7. However, as I pointed out in my analysis of race and crime in Pennsylvania,

the US government generally* classifies over 90 percent of Hispanics as “white” [even though they constitute a distinct race], except when they are the victims (not perpetrators) of hate crime. This deceptive practice inflates the “white” crime rate, since Hispanics, like blacks, are significantly more criminal than whites….

On the other hand, only 5.9 percent of people in Wisconsin are Hispanic, according to the Census Bureau, so “white” mostly means white in the crime statistics below.

*This notoriously includes the Census Bureau, when they conduct the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) for the Bureau of Justice Statistics.

The distribution of crime
Wisconsin’s Office of Justice Assistance (OJA) provides state-wide statistical reports on crime in the Badger State, up to 2010. Arrest rates by race may be used as a proxy for criminal offense rates by race without overestimating black criminality, because on the national level, arrest rates do not show a significant racial bias against blacks (“The Color of Crime,” 2005). According to the OJA, in 2010, Wisconsin blacks committed

1.57 percent of murder (whites, or rather “whites,” 39 percent),
2.32 percent of forcible rape (whites 63 percent),
3.73 percent of robbery (whites 26 percent), and
4.32 percent of aggravated assault (whites 63 percent).
See Figures 1–4. Where the labels on charts differ from the text, the text is accurate. (Excel mysteriously — maliciously? — labels the black murder percentage in Figure 1 as “58.” It is actually 57.1; the white percentage, 39.5; and the American Indian percentage, 1.4.)

Had a white mayor scolded white punks in that way, he's be roundly condemned as a racist/Nazi. You see, according to PC anti-racist rules, whites aren't allowed to have a distinct racial identity. Only non-whites are. This is simply "anti-racist" double standards writ large.

Wait .... I take that back.... whites are allowed to have a distinct racial identity if and ONLY IF it reflects badly on them.

Believing Fairy Tales about Civil-Rights Law Enforcement

Kerry Picket, March 21, 2011

{snip}

As I wrote in my previous post, the Justice Department plans on looking at bullying cases in local school districts that violate the 1964 Civil Rights Act. DOJ says it will, “enforce federal laws that protect students from discrimination and harassment at school because of their race, national origin, disability, religion, and sex, including harassment based on nonconformity with gender stereotypes.” Those who believe the DOJ is doing nothing wrong, because this law would also include white heterosexual males, are ignoring recent reports from former Justice Department employees who say the Civil Rights Division is not enforcing legislation in a race neutral manner.

{snip}

Steven Hayward at National Review cites two liberal “stalwarts” at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights in 1985 who believed “civil rights laws” were not meant to “give civil rights protections to all Americans.” In his article he writes:

The view that civil-rights laws should not be color blind was perhaps most explicitly asserted way back in 1985, when Mary Frances Berry and Blandina Ramirez, two longtime leftist stalwarts on the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, issued an official statement in their roles as commissioners that said, “Civil rights laws were not passed to give civil rights protections to all Americans, as a majority of this Commission seems to believe. Instead, they were passed out of a recognition that some Americans already had protection because they belonged to a favored group; and others, including blacks, Hispanics, and women of all races, did not because they belonged to disfavored groups.”
In a piece published today Hans Bader, Senior Attorney at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, correctly points out that Washington is currently “inventing” an anti-bullying law today.

However, the administration is on a quest to make it a federal issue, and one must wonder if the Department of Justice will enforce the 1964 Civil Rights Act as race blind as they claim to enforce the Voting Rights Act.

Testimony from two former DOJ attorneys who blew the whistle on the Department about the handling and eventual dismissal of the New Black Panther Party voter intimidation case begs the question not so much if DOJ ever did prosecute what is specifically called a “hate crime” against a white heterosexual male, but if the Justice Department truly looks at civil rights legislation for all people in an equal manner.

According to 2009 hate crime statistics over at the Justice Department, the prosecutions of hate crimes against minorities and homosexuals indeed overwhelms the majority of cases, but the question remains as to how many cases against whites and heterosexuals were reported but were deemed as non-hate crimes.

{snip}

The Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin wrote in Commentary Magazine in September of 2010:

Coates’ bombshell testimony before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights focused on the Philadelphia black-panther case. Members of the New Black Panther Party, one of whom was an Obama campaign poll watcher and local democratic official, used a nightstick and racial epithets to intimidate voters in a Philadelphia precinct. But the Obama Administration killed a successful lawsuit against these criminals, dismissing it after career Justice Department lawyers had already obtained victory in the case, as a former Justice Department Lawyer the Philadelphia Bulletin, and a newspaper editorial note. (The New Black Panther Party, which attacks what it refers to as “blooduscking Jews,” is recognized as a racist, antisemitic hate group even by liberal civil-rights groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center. Its voter intimidation was captured on videotape by a college student).
“Career lawyers pursued the case for months, including obtaining an affidavit from a prominent 1960s civil rights activist who witnessed the confrontation and described it as ‘the most blatant form of voter intimidation’ that he had seen, even during the voting rights crisis in Mississippi a half-century ago.” But Obama’s political appointees at the Justice Department overruled them, dropping the case after victory was already assured because “the court had already entered a default judgment against the” Black Panthers. Thanks to that outrageous decision, the only result of the case was a meaningless injunction telling one of the three defendants not to commit such crimes again (and telling him not to commit such crimes only until 2012, and not barring him from committing such crimes in his home city, but rather barring such crimes only in Philadelphia).

If the federal government will be prosecuting bullying cases under civil rights laws going forward, how can all American people be so confident that the cases will be considered fairly, given the history of both the Justice Department in recent years and the point of view about the intention of civil rights laws from the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights Commission? Believing everyone should get a fair shot under the law is nice to think, but it is not the reality.

Here's why SLIME (Socialist Liberal Media, or Obamasuck Media, for the gringomanic version)) must get to work on RICK PERRY pronto...........

In Texas, Perry Outshines Obama

By JOHN MERLINE, INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY Posted 08/12/2011 (H/T Buck)

Compared with Barack Obama, the man with whom he could be locked in a battle for the presidency a year from now, Rick Perry is a study in contrasts.

Texas' governor, who was set to enter the race for the Republican nomination on Saturday, is 11 years older than the president, was educated far from the Ivy League, has more executive experience — running the second-largest state for more than a decade — and is as far to the right on the political spectrum as Obama is to the left.

But just as noteworthy is the contrast between the two leaders' economic records.

By almost every measure, Texas has done far better over the past 2 1/2 years under Perry's stewardship than the nation as a whole has done under Obama's, according to an IBD review of government data.

http://www.investors.com/NewsAndAnalysis/Article/581393/201108121903/In-Texas-Match-Up-With-The-President-Its-Advantage-Perry.htm

gringoman

Obama's Brain, David Axelrod, said the other day on a SLIME outlet that Rick Perry does not deserve credit for Texas leading the nation in job growth. Obama's Brain said the jobs were due to the energy sector, not to Governor Perry.

However, there is this (not from Obama's Brain).......

A recent USA Today report noted that while the energy boom has helped Texas as well, employment growth has been "broad-based," with gains in sectors including education, health care, leisure, and professional and business services.

DJ

Fact: crime is a morality issue. More specifically, a 'lack of morals' issue.

gringoman

Of course, not everyone is singing Texas' praises, with critics saying the state is characterized by too many low-wage jobs, a mediocre education system, and overcrowded homeless shelters.

And Perry's critics are sure to be on the lookout for other black marks in his economic record should the governor gain traction in the primaries.

The left-wing Huffington Post news site, for example, recently issued an open invitation to disaffected Texans. "If you've become recently unemployed in Texas or struggle with a low-wage job ... we want to hear from you."

gringoNOTE: Here is a good example of SLIME technique.
The Obamasuck Machine does not tell the unemployed "We have a job for you" or anything like that. Instead, "We're ready to make use of you for our political ends. Welcome, Obamasucker! Here, have some Food Stamps. It's on us (er, the taxpayers.)

jay

Texas also has a huge deficit. Which is strange. Since many feel that it being a right to work state, business friendly, lean spending and low taxes. Should make it exempt. HA!

http://www.businessinsider.com/texas-state-budget-crisis-2011-1

You know the story and you know the names: states like Illinois, New Jersey, New York, and California are supposed to be in huge financial trouble thanks to bloated governments, business-unfriendly regulations, and strong public sector unions.

After a crisis-free 2010, investors are expected to punish these hotbeds of bad governance in a muni bond market rout, at least if pundits like Meredith Whitney are correct.

But there's one state, which is fairly high up on the list of troubled states that nobody is talking about, and there's a reason for it.

The state is Texas.

This month the state's part-time legislature goes back into session, and the state is starting at potentially a $25 billion deficit on a two-year budget of around $95 billion. That's enormous. And there's not much fat to cut. The whole budget is basically education and healthcare spending. Cutting everything else wouldn't do the trick. And though raising this kind of money would be easy on an economy of $1.2 trillion, the new GOP mega-majority in Congress is firmly against raising any revenue.

So the bi-ennial legislature, which convenes this month, faces some hard cuts. Some in the Texas GDP have advocated dropping Medicaid altogether to save money.

So why haven't we heard more about Texas, one of the most important economy's in America? Well, it's because it doesn't fit the script. It's a pro-business, lean-spending, no-union state. You can't fit it into a nice storyline, so it's ignored.

But if you want to make comparisons between US states and ailing European countries, think of Texas as being like America's Ireland. Ireland was once praised as a model for economic growth: conservatives loved it for its pro-business, anti-tax, low-spending strategy, and hailed it as the way forward for all of Europe. Then it blew up.

This is the sleeper state budget crisis of 2011, and it will be praised for doing great, right up until the moment before it blows up.

Since, the right also feels about lean spending, no unions, low taxes and pro-business,(at the expense of everyone else)
Maybe the Right if elected as president will blow up this country. Like Perry did Texas!

--------------------------------------------------

One reason why it's the right that is destroying the middle class.

There is a movement in America by conservative groups to demonize unions as bad for the country because unions are bad for corporations. Anyone with a pulse knows Republicans are in opposition to anything that threatens the power of corporations, and conservatives protect corporate America at any cost.

Recently, a Fox News commentator blamed unions for the auto industry’s financial problems. They also blamed oil prices and Japanese imports as the reason GM and Chrysler were near bankruptcy. However, that argument falls way short of credibility when one considers that there are three major car makers in America and only two needed a bailout.

Blaming unions, oil prices, and Japanese imports is invalid because Ford Motor Company survived the recession without a government bailout, and they use the exact same union as GM and Chrysler, pay the same oil prices, and have the same competition from Japanese auto-makers. Using unions as a scapegoat is a tired argument that is absurd.

according to an IBD review of government data.

But, people sure read my comments, though.

My view points are simple. Do away with Bush's tax cuts. Helped caused a HUGE debt, ya know.
Bring back Clinton's surplus rates of 39%

Taxes are for repairing roads, bridges, fund schools, defense. Give poor children at least one good meal a day. By providing it at school. By programs such as the Pell grant, etc. Help people better themselves by getting an education that they couldn't afford otherwise. By doing that, it makes them more productive citizens. And, putting money INTO the tax system. No longer being a recipient of it through welfare.

Funny how before the depression, the top 1% had 24% of the income. From 1953 -the 1980s. Because of the G.I Bill and other such programs. They had 8-10%. In the 1980s when taxes dropped, despite of the programs to help people better themselves by going to higher education. The top 1% make 22% of the income.
Must be because of the low taxes rates the GOP gave them.

The right?
Doesn't care about the planet. Better to fish a species to extintion. Longrifle's bring back the Tuna industry
Let, industry dump their toxins into the rivers, seas and the air.

Doesn't believe in programs such as the Pell grants.
Where abandoned mothers can go back to school. To become a more productive member of society.

Doesn't believe in programs like Meals on wheels.

What doesn the Right care about?
WEALTHY AND CORPORATIONS!

jay

Oh, yes.
The right does care about 1 more thing.
Defense.
To them, that's the only reason why to have taxes.

*** The liberal narrative crashes up against a reality that won't yield to it ***

Check out this amazing brief video clip at GoV. A female reporter from the Murdoch-controlled Sky News asks a young long-haired businessman--not exactly your typical BNP member--how he was affected by the riots the previous night. He says he heard that one of his stores had been raided. He went there and "there were one hundred, two hundred black dudes in hoodies and stuff, just rampaging every shop..." No sooner are those words out that the reporter asks, "You're not being stereotypical there? Are you sure that they were black? I'm sure that they weren't all black." After this goes back and forth one or two more times the young man "gets" the narrative the reporter is trying to force on him and calls her on it: "Ok, then, you need me to say that they weren't all black. I was the white guy there." She: "Well, there probably were other white guys there." He: "I didn't see any."
Never has it been made so clear that liberals cannot endure, cannot allow, any fact that contradicts their ideology, especially the core of their ideology, which is anti-whiteness and pro-blackness.
