I agree about Romney. He seemed in command a lot of the time. Overall they really seemed poised and down to earth. I think Bachmann did a good job of sticking it to Obama and the things that should be attributed to him. I didn't notice the "King bias" as much but I did find his constant interjection to the time limit a bit like a kid asking to go spend the night with his friend.

This lib-clown John King needs to be sent back to his moonbat cave. He literally drools like Chris "Tingle-legs" Matthews when left wing extremists are around, but shows his Olbermann-like carcass off with conservatives. Oh, I'll say he is slightly more polite than the Ogre beast, but not by much. He thought he could toss his ACORN around to see if the candidates would chomp it...ha ha Johnny-boy! It didn't work!

Great job Monica!

....I followed yo tweets and heavy mockery of CNN during the debate and it's no surprise you claim John King showed left wing bias. I didn't see any, this was literary fair and balanced, Fox news or Faux News can learn a lot from this. Oh and you too. Barrack was the biggest winner today.....

The candidates spoke fluently and generally with clarity in the langauge of choice. With an agenda to castigate Obama (whether deserved or not), to be 'nice' to opponents, and to push forth the typical rhetoric, the bar for details and insight of issues was set quite low with little points of substance made.
One cannot count distortions or fabrications of facts any substance of note.
With the oft-repeated solutions of tax-cutting and deregulation, one wonders how even an average right-wing voter can make any sense of a direction of economic renewal and problem solving for the US through these candidates.

From a distance, observers may wonder if the collective need to feel that the American Empire is necesssary under any circumstance of national debt or world military assertion, if an impending demise of a worldly Captain America is inevitable.

personally I found the "debate" unsettling........the forum frankly sucked........I like Roberts rules, all candidates are alloted the same amount of time to answer the SAME QUESTION..........the "moderator" was interruptive & kept ah, ah, ah, ah, in the background which was more than annoying.........I didn't see a clear winner, didn't feel they gave any real solutions, & CNN blocked Gary Johnson from attending but gave Bachmann a place to announce.....the whole thing except for that Cain moment was lackluster, imo.........I will say this tho, that observation of a head to head with the one & the newt, newt would have the one's lunch......that is NOT an endorsement but my observation..........

Princess, "n Sync" is getting back together for a reunion tour. Their management feels you'd be perfect to write all their press releases. I'd take the job. Of course, you can always hang on and Anthony Weiner your way through the shame.

There was a debate tonight? Really?

Imagine that. Wonder WHY anyone BOTHERED.

Can you tell JUST how incredibly fed up I am with the interminable Hell you so called conservative fascists' tools have made of America, politics, and the entire planet?

Get down on your knees and thank God Almighty that He has far more patience than I.

I'm particularly fed up with the abject hypocrisy of the so called lesser evil eating its own at YOUR direction.

They dam*n themselves, at your command. Turn cartwheels with razor blades to entertain you as they cut down their best and brightest as you cackle as their blood runs.

Maybe that's what it will take to finally end this charade. I have never seen a more shameless display of a complete lack of fidelity IN MY LIFETIME.

I have no respect whatsoever for anyone on ANY SIDE calling for Anthony Weiner's resignation, and those who do so WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN GET MY VOTE OR MY SUPPORT IN ANYTHING.

That is a promise, and pledge, and I AM NOT ALONE.

Dgscol

The fault, was not Nixon and wire-tapping 40 years ago. Rather it was special interests that were all for the subjugation of the gooks and control of the region, however long it took. Why, for example, did not Congress read the Pentagon Papers and respond appropriately, and end the conflict?

Tired of having their children die in a conflict they did not understand, and killing untold numbers of the enemy, the populus rose up to end it. It was very difficult to stop the political inertia, despite no easy victory, and a practical necessity to take on the entire region to prevail. Only because of civil unrest and possible upheaval, after the press clearly was polarized against them, and people were committing crimes to halt the war, did Congress crack and stop the costly stalemate.

SO - What will it take to stop the arrangement we maintain that harms our economy? We have the politicians living large, as the country plows itself into a furrow. We had full brogue oxford shoes and the Boeing 707 as AF1, not to mention even the little guy with his entitlements. But truely nothing compares to the immodesty of Washington excesses today - flipping houses, free mortgages, hiring of relatives, and a plethora of Lear jets and Hummers. It might take something really large to stop this.

All of the participants in the debate performed well. Each and everyone of them demonstrated qualities we seek in a president.

But the fact is they are Republicans; i.e., they're part of the THOROUGHLY CORRUPT "two-party" system that got us in the morass we are in in the first place.

Yes, each and everyone of them would be a much better alternative than any Democrat, but Republicans have proven time and time again, when in power, they, just as the Dems, grow government via tax, borrow, and wasteful spending!

Furthermore, both parties implement policies that put the American workers at a competitive disadvantage vis-a-vis foreign competition.

xbjllb

Oh. And you! Yeah, you, Barry! News flash:

You ARE in Anthony Weiner's position. Actually, far worse. Luckily there are no photos of your dick in Larry Sinclair's mouth. TWICE. Just a destroyed little GOP tool who twice swallowed your spooge and almost checked out from the sheer poison of the truth of it decades later.

But there IS that photocopy of the most ridiculous excuse for a attempt at forgery every attempted by a human being; your long form birth certificate FIASCO courtesy of Adobe Photoshop. What the HELL were you thinking? That Democrats are even stupider than Republicans? Only the ones you gave erections, apparently.

I no longer care if you have the entire CIA behind you. Or Chrissie Matthews tingly leg.

IF I WERE YOU, I WOULD RESIGN. You are in a far WORSE position than Anthony Weiner. The only difference is the MSM hasn't got the memo yet.

The memo that four YEAR CIALIS erections are bad for the health. And result from a dangerous drug, NOT something actually really arousing.

Oh, but they will. They WILL. When their dicks fall off.

Hypocritical as*shole.

RESIGN. Tightrope walking is most unpleasant when there are children involved.

2. End the Goddamned (literally) wars and bring all the troops home.

3. Tax outsourcing multinationals and their product and all imports at 98%

4. Reinstate the fairness doctrine. Good-bye Fox News AND MSNBC. Good-bye Limbaugh and Nazi talk radio.

The actual debt today is more like 14 trillion. You get a 100 trillion figure if you factor in the unfunded mandates that will come due in the future, like SS, Medicare etc. In other words, there is no 100 trillion debt now, but there will be unless things are changed radically. The future, at present, is unsustainable. Killing the dollar may be their only way out.

Paul tells Manchester crowd inflation will hit 50 percent
By MARK HAYWARD
New Hampshire Union Leader
Published Jun 11, 2011 at 3:00 am (Updated Jun 10, 2011)

MANCHESTER — Texas congressman Ron Paul on Friday predicted that inflation will hit 50 percent in the next couple of years, thanks to the massive debt the country has accumulated.

Paul, who spoke to admirers and Republican activists at a Manchester house party, said the inflation will act like default.

Social Security checks will still be cut and interest payments will still be made, but the inflated dollars will allow the government to repay borrowed dollars with devalued money, Paul said.

“They cannot pay the debt,” he said. “I don't think that means you shouldn't try and work things out, but with the size of this debt it never gets paid.”

The national debt is about $14.3 trillion.

Romney is a ringer. The left wants Romney more than the right does. Once he is the GOP nominee, they will attack his beliefs and minorities will unite and re-elect Obama.

Posted by: LongRifle | June 12, 2011 at 04:22 PM

Exactly. Much of Libworld will push Romney as "the better Republican," just as The New York Slimes (Mark Levin's tag), "endorsed" John McCain for the G.O.P. in 2008. He's in some ways the perfect RINO and Gooper hero, having a solid "Presidential" look that everyone can admire.

If G.O.P. does what Libworld wants, i.e. nominate Romney, then Libworld and Dems will show their true face post-nomination. That's why their polls are so usefully phony. E.g. Question: Does Romney's religion bother you?

Of course, the "enlightened" majority, even Christians, will answer "No." The hacks know they'll get responses like this.

The hacks carefully avoid asking more pertinent questions, even on religion. Eg.

"Do you have a problem with credos of Romney's Mormon faith, like the inferiority of blacks, the chance to become a god on another planet, Jesus as the spiritual brother of Lucifer etc?"

By not asking concrete questions like these, the Hackstream manages to

(1) Dumb down the argument

(2) Make Christians with valid (in Christian terms) objections to Mormonism seem like mindless dolts, far below the "clever" libs. i.e. exactly like the Hollywood pogwessives and gay marriage fanatics want to portray them.

(3) Hang fire until and if Romney gets the G.O.P. nod. After he's selected, then the Democrats and The NY Slimes, as Mark Levin calls it, can begin to tie around Romney's neck everything that they held back on, Mormon 'racism,' Jesus as Lucifer's brother, Obamneycare etc etc.

DJ,

I'm trying to follow your logic on the "Gooper prisoner" Rush Limbaugh.

RL believes that a third party at this time would be roadkill for the Dems.

You imply or say outright what you believe is the reason why: Rush is beholden to the G.O.P.

Can you explain how you know that a man worth well over $100 million is beholden to anybody? You mean he'd have to miss out on a George Bush interview if he doesn't stop promoting Sarah Palin? He'd lose his mass fly-over country audience? Help me out, DJ. I'm not following this.

I was under the impression that RL, who may even have a net worth close to a quarter billion, is now rich enough to buy up who you say he's beholden to---including the entire House of Boosh. Where do I mis-apprehend?

How about framing it like this:

I wonder if the vast majority of Americans need to feel that the ongoing pressure of immigration and job exportation is necesssary under any circumstance of national debt or world military assertion for the purpose of nation-bilding rather than to defeat our enemies who have been emboldened by our failure to define them and what we must to to defeat them.

If we can return to a more America-centered immigration, economic and military policy an impending demise of a worldly Captain America - to use a silly slightly pejorative phrase - is but a fantasy of our own seditious lamestream media and the islamic and Mexican revanchista hordes world-wide.

Rush Limbaugh's actions and words clearly inform us he's a stunch defender of the status quo (i.e., the "two-party system).

He fears being socially ostracized (If you knew anything about Palm Beach social circles you'd know what I mean). He's not about to risk that intangible by bucking the power-elite.
