She's at it again.

But what "it" is, nobody really knows.

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has hit the road on what she calls a "One Nation" bus tour of key American historical sites. She kicked off her tour on Sunday by causing a sensation at the annual Rolling Thunder bike rally that calls attention to vets who remain MIA. She made the scene on the back of a Harley, fierce in black leather. Girlfriend is not only a true conservative and shrewd political operator, she is drop-dead gorgeous, which are three of the biggest reasons the Left and their handmaidens in the media loathe her.

From there she set out to visit the Gettysburg battlefield and the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. She is always seen at these sites wearing a broad smile, as if she's actually happy to be reaching out and touching great American history. Imagine that! Unembarrassed patriotism! She is a true happy warrior! Another reason the Left hates her.

Plus, she's taking a page out of the playbooks of Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon, who went over the heads of the press and took their messages directly to the American people. She doesn't need to go through the editorial page staffs of newspapers who despise her to talk to the people. She goes right TO the people and talks WITH them. Yet another reason the Left hates her.

She's on to New York City, where she'll visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, the gateways to America for previous generations of (legal) immigrants. After that, her schedule remains a mystery. Will she go to Boston, Faneuil Hall, see the route of Paul Revere? Will she visit Plymouth Rock and the harbor that hosted the original Tea Party? Will she roll into....New Hampshire?

No one knows. And that's exactly how she likes it. She is so smart and clever that the Left's attacks on her intelligence look evermore ridiculous. Let them cackle. She's playing them like a Stradivarius.

They know it and hate it, of course. A CBS News producer, charged with following her caravan across the Northeast, said, "It feels like she's baiting us and treating us like paparazzi and make the 'lamestream media' appear that way." Actually, Palin doesn't have to do ANYTHING to make the lamestream media appear lame. They do that all by themselves.

And yes, she IS baiting them, making them look like fools. Isn't it great? They hate her so much, and yet they're forced to chase her like 12 year old girls running after Justin Bieber.

Former President Richard Nixon once said, "I intend to confound my enemies before I defeat them."

I have no idea if Sarah Palin will run for the Republican nomination or not. What I do know is that she is having her political opponents for lunch. She is confounding them, and it's only a matter of time before she defeats them. She's already doing it. And having the time of her life.

Mohammed higher than Jesus! Man, oh man! Obama can hardly contain
his delight and climbs and climbs ever higher. Once again, he reaches an
even larger room where he meets this truly magnificent looking man with a
silver white beard and once again repeats his question: "Are you
Mohammed?", he gasps as he is by now, totally out of breath from all his climbing.

'No, my son.... I am Almighty God, the Alpha and the Omega, but you look

exhausted. Would you like a cup of coffee?"

Obama says, "Yes please"! As God looks behind him, he claps his hands and
yells out: "Hey Mohammed - two coffees!

I can't help but post this long joke:

The ant works hard in the withering heat and the rain all summer long, building his house

President Obama condemns the ant
and blames President Bush, President Reagan, Christopher Columbus, and the Pope for the grasshopper's plight.

Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has
gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper,
and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act
retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and,
having nothing left to pay his retroactive
taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar and given to the grasshopper.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow,
never to be seen again.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize and ramshackle, the once prosperous and peaceful, neighborhood.

The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest
of the free world with it.

It is my understand that the South seceded due to devasting taxes the North imposed on the South. If the non-slaving owning Southern farmers felt the hardship from taxes imposed by the North, it would explain why the were so driven to fight back.

The simple fact is that the overwhelmingly dominant version of the Civil War, Lincoln, the slaves etc etc is the official politically correct version. This version is true in parts, false in others, and open to question in almost everything. Of course, winners always write the history, and the northern industrialists defeated the southern planters.

E.g. A case can be made easily that the institution of slavery was clearly doomed even on economic grounds. It was unsustainable and unnecessary with the growth of the industrial age. Ergo, it was dangerous and even evil to catapult millions of illiterate slaves into "freedom." They were helpless and the whites who now found themselves suddenly swarmed were deeply resentful, hence the rise of rabid racism, the KKK etc. In Rome the slaves were eventually freed, but never in a sudden tsunami like the North inflicted on the South, and Americans paid for this insanity with about 600,000 dead, mostly white.....Maybe you kjow about the following "unofficial PC view" of the Civil War.......BTW, anyone who has studied Marxism like I have, knows that Karl Marx cheered on the North. Communists from Marx to Lenin to today;s liberal racists have always been keenly aware of how blacks can be useful in the drive to destroy Free Enterprise. Of course, the typical ignoramus today doesn't have a clue, so the political scene doesn't seem to make sense.

Palin has also been at ease with the news media, her sworn enemy, throughout her bus tour. She has confounded both local and national reporters with her stubborn refusal to provide details of the bus’s itinerary, which is being planned out, often at the last minute, by she and her husband Todd.

But she has lingered with reporters and television cameras at several stops, ultimately granting more access to reporters outside of Fox News - where she has an exclusive contract as a network contributor - than at any point over the last two years.

Well, UG, I suppose Muslims will be offended by your joke since many of them seem prone to a Hannity-like outrage at the least little thing. Regardless it is a neat joke because like so much humor it is multifaceted. A moral philosopher might analyze it as showing that while St Peter, Moses and Jesus ran their own little concerns, Mohammed practiced what he preached, humble service to God.

Don't know about now, but in my school days, 1940s and 1950s, we looked at various points of view including Lincoln's view of blacks and Nicolas Garvy's(spell?) movement to take blacks to Africa. Like so many things there had to be a lot of points of view coming together to get momentum for secession. There was the industrial versus agriculture and taxes point for some, but it seems the dominant theme was preserving the Southern Way of Life which to most meant slavery. There are plenty of what ifs. Would Lincoln even have been elected if slave owners had accepted boundaries of the Missouri Compromise? If the South had not assumed Lincoln's election meant the end of slavery and moved to secession, might not slavery have been ended in more orderly fashion over a number of years? After all Lincoln only reluctantly freed slaves in states in rebellion in an attempt to end the war. The Thirteenth Amendment was as much about revenge as morality.

Farah wonders aloud why Trump would ask for a copy of a book he had no intention of reading – even going to the extent of having his organization sign a non-disclosure agreement to get an early electronic copy.

"He kept urging us to hold press conferences – assuring us he'd be right behind us, holding our coats, so to speak" said Farah. "When I pushed him to join us, he quickly backed off – saying he couldn't jump back into the issue right now. I have strongly begun to suspect that Trump had other motives than seeking the truth about Obama. I think he was pumping Corsi for information for some other purpose than being on the right side of history."

Farah says these words from Trump stand out in Corsi's notes of their last conversation: "Call me before you do anything. I want to know before you do it."

"Trump was hungry for information," said Farah. "It's just a question of why. What was he doing with it?"

During much of April Trump made regular appearances on talk shows and news broadcasts, and almost every time either he or the interviewer raised questions about Obama's eligibility. Meanwhile, he regularly was in conversation with Corsi and others who helped Corsi investigate the Obama eligibility dispute.

As a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll demonstrated, by raising questions about Obama's eligibility repeatedly, going as far as suggesting Obama's presidency might be illegal, Trump rose in popularity among GOP voters.
