A few people who need to cease and desist immediately:
1. The Democrats. The already out of control monster deficit spiked 16% in the first half of this fiscal year. STOP SPENDING!!!
2. The Republican leadership. Stop wimping out and fight for REAL, not imaginary, spending cuts. And oh yeah: STOP SPENDING!!
3. Nancy Pelosi. In a speech at Tufts University this week, the former House Speaker said this: "To my Republican friends: take back your party." In other words: give up your core principles and bend to our will. She continued, "So that it doesn't matter so much who wins the election, because we have shared values..." Just as she acknowledged when she ran the show, right? And finally, the kicker: "Elections shouldn't matter as much as they do." She didn't think that way in 2006 and 2008. The Founding Fathers might be surprised to hear her say that elections shouldn't matter. So might the voters in her district. If she thinks elections shouldn't matter, then she shouldn't mind getting voted out.
4. The Federal Reserve. The Fed continues to print money by the bajillions. STOP IT. Further, the Fed downplays inflation, when a measure used in the 1970's puts it today at nearly 10%. Stop fibbing to us about inflation, which we see in our daily lives, from food to T-shirts to gas.
5. President Obama. Today, he's set to tell us that he's found Jesus on spending and is committed to deficit reduction. This from a man who quadrupled the deficit and added $4 trillion to the national debt in 2 years. Stop taking us for dummies.
6. The United Nations. The serious: It's prepared to move to grant Palestinian statehood in an end-run around Israel. The ridiculous: It's considering granting "rights" to "Mother Earth," including to bugs and plants. Because, after all, bacteria has a right to life (but human babies don't.)
7. Middle Eastern regimes who are killing their own people. Iran, Syria, Bahrain, and Yemen: I'm talking to you. You may not have the U.S. president on your tail the way Muammar Qaddafi does, but you need to stop the killing. On second thought, why would you? You don't have the U.S. president on your tail.
8. Harry Reid. In citing the Pledge of Allegiance, he omits the words "under God." Thanks, Nevada, for inflicting this loser on us for another 6 years.
9. Katie Couric. Stop blaming everybody else for your low ratings and trying to convince us that you were "never a ratings-obsessed person." If your ratings were even halfway decent, you wouldn't be checking out from a $15 million a year gig.
Stop the madness. Stop the spending and the lies and the insults to our intelligence. We're on to all of you.
9. Katie Couric. Stop blaming everybody else for your low ratings and trying to convince us that you were "never a ratings-obsessed person." If your ratings were even halfway decent, you wouldn't be checking out from a $15 million a year gig.

Outstanding point Monica! Thanks for thinking of me UG and Gringoman; you are always in my thoughts, especially when I'm listening to Savage.
Hey, he puts Beck down but he interviewed a guy today who told him about the 12th Imam and sounded exactly like Glenn Beck.

I heard what I think would be a promising ticket, of TRUMP/VENTURA. Neither of those two could be compromised & definately are about doing their own thing, in their own ways. As well I believe both to be freedom lovers & fighters. I must admit the idea of these two Independents who have never backed down to the establishment has a very real appeal for me anyway! I very much think it is way past time to think outside the "two party" box & come up with TWO OUTSIDERS who wouldn't be opposed to taking names & kicking azz. Donald could take the names & Jesse could kick the azz.....me likee very MUCH! MUCHO GUSTO!

"Well, now:" - Gringoman
Well now. Looks like xbjllb is right after all:
TRUMP/BUSH 2012
vs.
CLINTON/OBAMA 2012
Let's see if he's right about the outcome as well.

By the way, Obama gave his first speech today as Hillary's Veep. Excellent Cheney attack dog impression. Most excellent speech, that, if repeated in arena after arena, will definitely win the election against the fascists. The rich cannot stand against everyone else.
VERY impressive. Had he been that determined FROM DAY ONE, all the upcoming subterfuge might not have been necessary.
But it's just like God, wisely taking care of everything only at the last second; because to do anything about it earlier telegraphs the intent to the Enemy, and gives them (and him) time to plot, plan, and thwart.
Not so with last second actions.
However, it really keeps the pundits on top of ever-changing things.
Unless they know who to listen to.

Good old UG... nutcases are poison, unless they're women.
Then they're PERFECT. How long has your wife been in Bellvue?

Not to imply Jesse Ventura IS in actuality, a nutcase; on the contrary.
Unfortunately, because of the pro wrestler background, he is perceived as a nutcase by far too many.
As opposed to real live certifiable coat hanger warrior nutcases like Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann.
Trump needs someone bland and establishment, and will make a perfect team with Jeb Bush. Jeb rounds off Trump's rough edges perfectly.
Unfortunately, the GOP's only chance is against Obama as Pres, not against Obama as Hillary's veep.
And 2024 is far enough away to dwindle the GOP down to 14% of the population.
Basically the uber riche and no one else, as it should be.

Ditto. Some "outsiders" really belong outside. Like Jesse Ventura. This guy apparently had an honorable record as a real warrior. He deserves credit for that. But he's also an example of what can happen even to former soldiers, especially after soaking their brains in booze and dope. Admittedly I don't know Ventura's medical history (or whether it's as secret as Barack Obama's) but in his recent interview with Steve Malzburg he kept pushing every Truther cliche in the book about how the Bush Government PROBABLY was behind 9.11. (Malzburg didn't get around to reminding him that Popular Mechanics magazine etc has disproved these technical "proofs" of conspiracy, including the Rosie O'Donnel re-gurgitated bromide about whether steel can melt etc) Another tell-tale sign: he kept bashing "the cap[italists" and "corporations" but never got to the union thugs and the socialists and their ilk who always use these ancient Marx cliches to "liberate da people," i.e. enforce their vile tyrannies wherever and whenever they get the chance.
In other words, Ventura, politically, sounds exactly like a wide-eyed sophomore who just got a copy of the Communist Manfifesto and is "inspired" to break the news to us. A grown man, sounding like a bug-eyed boy, i.e. a socialist. Hate to say it, but intellectually the guy is on a par with Monica's scumbot trolls at Monicamemo.
Embarrassing. No wonder Libworld would love to see him hook up with Donald Trump. But Libworld has a problem. Trump may have carnival talent, but he doesn't hook up with looney tunes who are drunk on their own adolescnce.

well if I might, I think those who believe that someones' past keeps them from becoming prez, could you explain the sitting one now? & how on day one sealed all his past? I happen to like "nut cases" that call people & things OUT....kind of a wierd "transparency" imo....
why the American electorate would want more of the SAME, at any level, is frankly beyond me.

Hey Monica Crowley,
I thank God for Pres. Obama and voted for him in 2008 and plan on voting for him in 2012. I'm a black american man that want my president to succeed. You and the rest of your right wing conservatives are unamericans that need to be chained up, whipped, and peed on. I will full credit to Pres. Obama and House Speaker John Boehmer for avoiding the government shutdown last week. Its Obama time, get with the program. I would love to dabate you on your talk radio show.
