WHY TRUMP WON'T RUN

Note: This is not necessarily my view. I'm but the messenger (who predicted on April 06 that Trump will run.)

Almost without exception, the "experts" continue to mock Trump's possible candidacy. Despite his PR talents and his amazing poll ratings of late, they still say he won't run. I've been sceptical of the "experts." Most of them view this as just another Trump "publicity stunt," trying to make yet more money, promoting his TV ventures, yada-yada ad nauseam.

However, at least one critic is touching on something more substantial. John Fund, of the Wall Street Journal, is a serious reporter, and a very good one.
He says, flat out, that Trump will not run because that would force Trump to do what Trump has no intention of doing: filing full financial disclosure.

How does John Fund know this? I don't know. But if it's a fact, an indisputable fact, then my April 06
prediction can be taken as a belated April Fool's joke.(BTW, Rush Limbaugh just came out and says Trump will run. But the ear for nuance can hear that Limbaugh is not at all 100% certain.)

That said, Trump himself continues to say that he's ready to disclose. He purports to be unafraid of close scrutiny of his finances. He even brags that he's "far richer" than Mitt Romneycare, who he describes as "a small businessman."

However, aside from John Fund, there is also campaign finance legal beagle Jan Baran:

"But would the thrice-married billionaire known for his extravagant hotels and golf courses brave the mundane rituals of retail campaigning and the intense examination his business empire and personal wealth would draw?

'People thinking of running have to file a personal financial disclosure within 30 days of registering with the FEC. Does anyone really think that Donald Trump, under penalty of perjury, would file such a document?' campaign finance lawyer Jan Baran asked."

Conclusion: Who do you believe---Donald Trump, or John Fund and the legal beagle.

ps. As previously mentioned, Monica has not jumped ship and come aboard the SS Trump. It now looks like she deserves a break on that. Unless Trump formally declares, the Gringo Advisory Board has been moved to give her a pass on defecting from the House of Bush.

TRUMP'S PIT BULL

The man behind Donald Trump's possible 2012 presidential campaign is a registered Democrat who voted for Barack Obama in 2008.
Not only that, but Michael Cohen, an executive at the Trump Organization who doubles as Trump's chief political adviser, once volunteered for 1988 presidential candidate Michael Dukakis and worked for a Democratic member of Congress.

This election cycle is different. Late last year, Cohen co-founded the draft Trump website "Should Trump Run?" It has received more than 830,000 hits.

Cohen, 44, is known around the office -- and around New York -- as Trump's "pit bull." Some have even nicknamed him "Tom," a reference to Tom Hagen, the consigliore to Vito Corleone in the "Godfather" movies.

TRUMP'S PIT BULL 2

Cohen said he sees no conflict in his advocacy for Trump now and his past support for Obama. He said his concerns are three-fold: the "unsustainable" debt, the country's "ongoing and continuous" loss of jobs and the "basic overall lack of respect" that the rest of the world has for the U.S.

"I'm prepared to put the fact that I voted for Obama to the side," he said. I'm more concerned now about my children, future grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and everybody's children and families. I'm more concerned about them than I am about party affiliation."

Or is the possibly a double standard me should fear?

What really is the world of Trump? Is it like this?

This poor lady, her feet possibly jammed into tight shoes, may be living in the real world of Trump. Are these people who work hard for the Party, or just crash the Party and then recline toi recover? Just sayin' that Donnie may cut out after a few rounds, and he may not be in the shape he once was.

"The Obamas take advantage of EVERY deduction to which they are allowed.

They are also receiving a $12,334 tax refund from the federal government"
Have showed that many of the largest corporations. (And, not just those who love Obama. But, those who love the tax inequality in this country). Made Billions and got paid millions.
take advantage of every deduction? Monica you are really trying your best to make a point. It didn't work.
Name me 1 corporation that doesn't take advantage of tax experts, tax havens, whatever? Trying to blame one for what they are do? Do, as I say. Not as I do?
PAYING MORE HIMSELF?
He's trying as in raising the taxes for the rich.Get it, now?

jay

Buffet wanting the country to pay more? He's smart. He knew what the 24-25% tax rates did to the country in the late 1920s.

Trump used to be a tax and spend liberal. He's never been a fascist me, my, mine "no tax rich" Republican.

Thus it stands to reason he never had any trouble patriotically paying HIS taxes. While of course, using every possible legal loophole.

You'd find far more questionable shenanigans in Cheney's tax records than Trump's.

Trump IS running, much to the chagrin of the GOP. And to the DNC, if the MSM hysterical reaction is any indication.

The GOP made a faustian deal with the Obama Camp that the GOP would lay off the birther issue in return for complete hands off the truther issue. Including all investigations into 9-11 which the Obama Administration has blocked at every possible turn.

Yes, Obama has had indisputable proof via the CIA that Cheney/Rove/Rumsfeld/Baker/GHW Bush et al pulled 9-11. From Day One.

But he had his own problem to hide.

It's the only reason why the GOP establishment are terrified of Trump, outside of the 9-11 loop, getting to the bottom of the birther issue.

If Trump gets to the bottom of the issue, and all hell breaks lose regarding Obama's fraud, then how fast do you think we are going to see absolute proof of who pulled 9-11?

That's just how power is transferred in Washington. Mutual blackmail. Behind the scenes. As well as how voters vote. Sometimes, in SPITE of how voters vote.

Like in 2000.

Should have gone with Hillary. The GOP tried for twenty YEARS and could get NOTHING to stick on her besides innuendo.

"TRUMP'S PIT BULL 2" - Gringoman

Cohen is not the only Democrat supporting Trump.

Trump also has, at latest educated guess, about 90% of Hillary Democrats.

I would know. And as long as the man stays away from social issues, he's going to keep them too.

The people of this country care about jobs. Not what goes on in the bedroom, in a church, or in a hospital room.

Not so, Longrifle. Although the old bag witch did hold true to her elite GOP bosses and their faustian deal with Obama re: birther vs. truther, the Arizona legislature has MORE THAN ENOUGH VOTES TO OVERTURN THE OLD WITCH'S VETO. And she knew it.

And they certainly will.

Meaning: the law will be made law, and Obama will have to challenge it in the courts to get on the ballot in 2012. Or cough up a long firm birth certificate.

Which he can't.

But I must say, that circumcision document requirement ("proof" of "Judeo-Christianity") was not just social issue squirrelly, it was social issue STOOOOOOOOOO-PID. Who the hell would get such a thing? Baptism, maybe.

Please, stick with the law. Preferably constitutional law, not judaic law B.C.E.

Ummah,

What is it you think Obama has to prove to a corporate/Marxobot media, like that of GE/NBC's CEO Jeffrey Imelt? The Imelt whose GE paid no taxes on billions in profit? The Imelt who has the run of the White House, GE snagging multi-billion dollar Guvmint contracts for socialist boondoggles like windmills. Do you expect his media toadies to scrutinize "cool" Barry like they would Trump? Really? You mean these cuties will even ask why Obama's legal team has spent 2 million bucks already just to keep his personal records (not just the famous "birth certificate"), hidden from the taxpayers)?

You believe that's a possibility in today's corporate/socialist Republic, with the pathetic Goopers as "loyal opposition", and dissidents are Alinskyfied as "morons"?

Think so?

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer today undid the work of Republican majorities in both houses of her state legislature by issuing a veto of House Bill 2177, the plan to exercise the state's right to run elections and require presidential candidates to prove their constitutional eligibility.

But there's a new proposal already in the works in Louisiana, House Bill 561 by Rep. Alan Seabaugh and Sen. A.G. Crowe, and there would be no veto there.

"It's not part of our package, but if the legislature passes it, we'll sign it," Kyle Plotkin, press secretary to Gov. Bobby Jindal, told the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Could one of Monica's favorite Goopers, from the House of Bush on down, have said the following?

////"America's founding fathers said it best, 'a well-informed electorate taught to know and prize their God-given rights cannot be enslaved,'" Metcalfe said. "As a veteran and an elected official who takes an oath of office, just like every past and future president of the United States, to uphold and defend the constitutional rights of the citizens I represent, it is beyond perplexing and greatly troubling that a political candidate can ascend to the highest levels of government without providing sufficient documentation verifying his or her place of birth or American citizenship."///////

Yes?

No?

TRUMP vs. TOKYO ROVE

Trump keeps making it difficult for Monica to jump ship and come aboard the SS Donald. Eg. He keeps slamming her love, Georgie of Saudirabia, and even the guy described as "Bush's brain."

Monday, 18 Apr 2011 01:05 PM

By Henry J. Reske

President George W. Bush and his key political adviser Karl Rove are responsible for the election of President Barack Obama, potential GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump contended during an appearance on “Fox & Friends” Monday morning. Trump was responding to comments Rove made about his own allegations questioning the legitimacy of Obama’s birth certificate.

Rove, in an appearance on another Fox show, Greta Van Susteren’s “On The Record,” said Trump’s embrace of the issue has made him a “joke candidate.”

“Let him go ahead and announce for election on the ‘The Apprentice,’” Rove said. “The American people are not going to be hiring him and certainly the Republicans are not going to be hiring him in the Republican primary.”

Shooting back, the real estate mogul maintained there were real questions about Obama’s birth and added that he was “very upset with Bush because Bush had a really a bad period of time and he gave us Obama and Karl Rove was Bush.”

“I don’t expect that he’s going to love me, but Bush gave us Obama,” Trump said. “In all fairness to John McCain and Sarah Palin, nobody could have won. You could have brought back Abraham Lincoln, he couldn’t have beaten Obama at that time, because of what Karl and Bush had done.”

If Trumb becomes president. Is his wife a US citizen?

Ummahgummah

Jay is acting like the pesky KOSkiddie/moron.org/Huffblo gnat again, bleating their talking points.

Seems like Trump is being increasingly viewed as a threat by the libtards after weeks of "oh no he isn't running it's all just a publicity stunt", hoping he'll take the hint and walk across that face-saving golden bridge. Now that his candidacy appears more likely they're floating the "foreign wife" thing.

Not that this bothered them when ketchup Kerry was running. But then he was a LIB.

So much for that talking point.

.

Ummahgummah

.

See them rally around der Führ.. er.. their leader regarding his meticulously taken tax deductions.

So the "rich" and the "evil corporations" are taking theirs so the Bama is entitled to his.

Yeah, but only SOME of "the rich" like Warren Buffet, has stated that they aren't paying enough.

Thus Monica makes her very logical point, concluding that anyone who is "rich" and doesn't think that "the rich" are paying enough, is free TO PUT THEIR MONEY WHERE THEIR MOUTH IS.

I'd be very curious to see Ariana Huffington's tax return, just by the way. And Michael Moore.. Bill Maher.. Oprah.. the list gets bigger fast.

Maybe you. Not me. I'd be thrilled, welcome him in, and we'd have a great talk with a lot of laughs.

Just a little fact check - the treasury would not have gotten the $400,000, just the tax owed on that amount (28% of it if my memory serves).
