////And the Commander in Chief had better reassure us himself over the intelligence and security measures his administration is taking, because his top people are clearly nincompoops.////

But what about the rest of the neocompoops? You know, like the ones from last year's assault on the Constitution during the dead of night at holiday time, and then this year's not-so-lame duck rapine? (Burglars and thugs generally prefer cover of darkness and distraction.)

They seized America's health care.

They turned GM into Government Motors.

At airports they have Americans practically by the crotch.

Fisting DADT, they have turned the US military into an enforcer for homosexuals,

And now with 'Net Neutrality' they are ready to neocompoop on the last great outpost of liberty, The Internet.

All this while the (sic) Opposition (heh), the G.O.P. is on Stand-By.

To paraphrase Willy Shakespeare, isn't there a method in their crypto-Marxist nincompoopery?

And can Monica tell us whether her G.O.P's nincomgoops
are any match for it?

THE DAILY BEAST//////by Shushannah Walsh

Railing against Don't Ask Don't Tell, shooting down an immigration bill he once sponsored, pushing his own changes to START—the tougher John McCain who emerged in the primaries may be here to stay.

When Sen. John McCain took the floor before the groundbreaking vote to repeal Don't Ask Don't Tell, he furiously told the Senate, "Today is a very sad day," and announced, "There will be high-fives over all the liberal bastions of America," from "the elite schools that bar military recruiters from campus" to "the salons of Georgetown."

gringoNOTE: There it is. Johnny Boy, alerting us, after the Marxaloid barbarians stormed the citadel and are in the gates. Now Johnny wakes up. It took years, but look at his eyes. Are they opening? Or is this just some acid reflux?

BEAST/////Woods said "it hurts" McCain to vote against legislation like the DREAM Act after years of working on reform but said the senator felt betrayed when Latinos overwhelmingly supported Obama overwhelmingly in 2008. "When you carry that fight at great sacrifice year after year and then you are abandoned during the biggest fight of your life, it has to have some sort of effect on you," he said.

And friends hasten to point out that McCain has traditionally always been a conservative, despite that pesky maverick label.

Erick Erickson

Wednesday, December 22nd

There has been a lot of speculation this week about why the GOP rolled over in the Senate on virtually every issue. From Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’s repeal to START to you name it — the GOP became the party of capitulation. So much so that even Lindsey Graham is blasting the Senate GOP “for a ‘capitulation … of dramatic proportions’ to Democrats and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) in the lame-duck Congress.”

In his statement about why the GOP folded like a cheap suit, Graham gives away the game. He says, “I can understand the Democrats being afraid of the new Republicans; I can’t understand Republicans being afraid of the new Republicans.”

gringoNOTE: not sure about MOnica, but Erick Erickson at Redstate clearly gets it. He's just not ready to call them
'nincomgoops.'

Monica,

If you think things are bad now, wait until people of color become the majority.....

"I live in Georgia. My congressional representative is Hank Johnson, a Democrat whom I am unafraid to call stupid. In April at a House Armed Services Committee hearing, Johnson expressed genuine concern that sending more personnel to Guam would cause the island to “tip over and capsize.”

[...]

When Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) asked whether the Mars Pathfinder took pictures of the flag that Neil Armstrong had planted on Mars, the story was gently buried. When Hank Johnson worried about Guam capsizing, that embarrassing li’l blast of “brain fog” was quietly blamed on his Hep-C treatment regimen. But after Greene fathered countless pregnant pauses live on national television, it’s absurd to deny it—Alvin Greene is, as Fred Sanford would say, a dummy. He “takes it to that ‘nother level,” as the blacks are fond of saying."

Perhaps you should think about spending time on Bad Eagle. I have listened to Monica for years and she has no sympathy for this type of schtick.

When you get there tell your leader that the head of the Beakerkin group is not pleased he continues to make a mockery of patriotism.

DJ

Beakerkin,

Perhaps you should think about f#*king off.

YOU may think the idea of idiots and grossly unqualified people getting nominated and or elected to high office is "schtick" but I, and may others, including Monica, think it is a VERY serious matter. In fact it is SUCH a serious matter it has the very real potential, ultimately, to be the undoing of our country and way of life.

In case you haven't noticed, the election of Barack Hussein Obama is central to the aforementioned issue.

DJ

Go to Yeagley and tell him the leader of the Beakerkin
group doesn't deal with lackies.

Monica can speak for herself and in seven years of listening I never heard a peep in support of racist drivel. There are reasons to be against Obama. His policies are dreadful and he isn't a leader. Race doesn't enter the picture except for lackies who can't think for themselves.

DJ

You're right about one thing Beakerman: Monica can speak for herself. Other than that, the rest of your comment amounts to typical garden variety libtard drivel. (Yawn..)

You have to wonder if the underwear bomber's mission went off as planed. Meaning the people that set him up knew in advance the bomb was a dud and designed that way. In any event, the incident had its intended effect. At least to one degree or another.

Another interesting aspect to the underwear bomber story was an Attorney and his wife from the Detroit Michigan area witnessed Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab being turned away at the ticket counter when he attempted to pay cash for a oneway ticket. It was shortly thereafter when another man, described as a tall middle aged Indian, intervened and persuaded the ticket agent to issue the Abdulmutallab a boarding pass.

I saw the a attorney interviewed on cable news shortly after the incident. He said he signed an affidavit attesting to what he witnessed. The story has since been buried.

I'll try to google more on it and post it if I find anything.

DJ

I goggled Kurt Haskell Underwear Bomber and loads of stories popped up.

Honest Abe

People complain about the government, whatever it does. If they follow a psychological approach - then they are not doing enough. Then people pushing scanners suggest they could do more, and then people complain about being scanned. Actual security is still a separate issue. First off, there is a need for detection, and then secondly, a need for interdiction. On 9/11 the people walked across the tarmac onto the planes, with no one intercepting them. I am not even sure they used the baggage scanner.
----

It is nice to see a journalist asking government people questions. But this was done in a studio. Would it have been better if an investigative reporter had been asking questions in the field and reporting? In the studio, if there are lapses it is already too late - and gov people can cover this with any excuse, and no one knows what the state of affairs actually is. Just imagine all the rampant corporate collusion, what the operation is in depts that regulate but are not regulating, and redundant/unnecessary gov bureaus that yearn to be investigated.

What you say is correct, and the key word is "intrusive".

There is an agenda in play, and the intent of that agenda is to be as intrusive as possible, and erode our individual rights. Take a step back, and look at the key initiatives this administration has chosen to pursue:

- The TSA: Going out of it's way to be as intrusive as possible (scanners, groping, enormously long lines, etc.) when more sensible and effective alternatives exist.

- The Nutrition Police: Determined to tell every child what they can and cannot eat. Michelle Obozo: "Parents can't be trusted to do the job". Soon bake sales and cupcakes will be illegal.

- Obozocare: Included an individual mandate that they KNEW in advance was unconstitutional. Unless it is de-funded immediately and ultimately repealed, you will soon have no choices at all.

- The FCC "Net Neutrality" regulation: A solution in search of a problem. The admninistration is simply terrified of a free-market, wide-open, unrestricted medium, and is determined to get it's hands on it. Keep in mind, THERE IS NO PROBLEM. This was an innecessary pre-emptive assertion of control. Most importantly, be aware that the FCC's actions are both without authority, and ILLEGAL, since the Court of Appeals has already ruled that the FCC does NOT have the authority to regulate the internet.

There are many other examples, but there is a reason for all the intrusion, and it's all about exerting control.

"'24/7, 364 days a year." Perhaps she was absent from school the day they taught how many days there are in a year.' Monica , you never made a mistake when speaking? If, so you would be the first!"-JAY

Jay, the number of days in a year (365.2422) is painfully elementary knowledge. Napolitano, Clapper, and Brennan, whom Monica wrote about, are supposed to be, as individuals whose ostensible purview is national security and terrorism, some of the most intelligent, competent, and informed people in government. In this era of unprecedented accessibility to news media, it is categorically deplorable that, after Clapper's excoriable speechlessness, neither of the two other national security officials could offer more than a laconic response about the arrests of 12 terrorist suspects in London.

DJ

The fact is there are islamic terrorists at large and they WILL hijack airplanes and fly them into buildings or sneak on bombs and blow them up in mid-air.

What to do?

We CAN'T profile mooslims. That would be racist and or culturally inseeeeensitive. The egalitarians would go ballistic if sensible security measures that included profiling were put into practice. So what we have left with is intrusive searches of ALL passengers.

Better to have intrusive searches than have a few airplanes blow up in mid air due to inadequate security at the gates.

Think of the consequences a few jumbo jets blowing up would have on the collective psyche of the Western world...not to mention the overall negative effect it would have on the economy.

Unfortunately the intrusive searches are necessary.

Moreover, our resentment would be more appropriately directed at the Islamofascists and their egalitarian enablers; not the government's reaction to the threat, regardless how inept and big-brotherish it may appear to be.

That's the kind of world we live in today.

I am certain the Obamastration loved having the islamo-fascists from unindicted 911 co-conspirators CAIR giving TSA agents "sensitivity training".

Ummah,

The Gringo Advisory Board will consider this. As DJ says, it bolsters Palin's Foreign Affairs cred. I don't happen think she's as lacking in that area as the Akinskyboobies want the dummies to think, especially as she's a very quick study and as a battler, has an instinctive understanding of power dynamics--another reason the leftniki fear her. At any rate, it is very likely that a President Palin would find work for Bolton, possibly even as SecState---yet another reason the filthy rich Hollywood neocompoops hate her, as these invert fools finance the epic ignorance of overthrowing DADT in the US military.

Other GAB suggestions for 2012:

Palin-Rubio. (The Dems get their demoralized welfare Aztlan Hispanics, Palin gets the proud, dynamic Hispanics. Looks like they'd split the "Hispanic" vote, maybe 55-45 pro-Palin. Remember, latinos, like most blacks, admire someone who will "take it to them," which is why McCain and his idiot "smart consultants" failed so miserably and came across as so lackluster. Palin refuses to stay in their little box)Yet another reason why Corporate Charley's Hackstream fears her, and her ability to ride right over them.

Palin-Christy. (Christy, who's gotten bold in facing the fiscal nightmare that the union thugs have wreaked, can excite even Monica's G.O.P. As for his outrageous telling Americans to shut up over the Ground Zero Mosque, Mama Grizzly might slap some sense into him.)

Palin-Jebbie? No, GAB is not crossing that bridge. This appears grossly problematic. GAB is just being deliberately provocative in raising the inconceivable.
And you do see it as inconceivable, right? We know what happened to Reagan very soon after he was elected with a Bush as his VP, right?

gringpNOTE: Now that Libworld, the filthy rich Hollywood Homos, the crypto-Marxists and Monica's Log Cabin Republicans have overthrown DADT, thereby tearing open the can of sexual worms which the US Military had kept closed.....

=======================================================

WND/////While advocates for promoting homosexuality are awash in good cheer over their work, people with military experience fear the harm that is developing.

"This is a volunteer force with honorable men and women volunteering to give up their lives if needed in order to achieve the objectives of their country," McDowell said.

"If this attitude of valor is not respected by our policy makers we will see a degrading in the general order and discipline of our forces, by both soldier and commander," he said.

The soldier who raised concerns about privacy suggested to WND the military course of action now is filled with pitfalls that have yet to be considered.

"I presume now that all public bathrooms in America are unisex and all doors on the stalls will be removed? What's great for the military is great for society right? Isn't that what the lefties are telling us? So women using the toilet will have men watching them. Hey, we are all adults right? We won't peek and pedophiles won't sneak cameras into public bathrooms," he wrote.

"The real issue will be unequal treatment of men if you stop them from showering with women. Isn't the very nature of sexual attraction and the normalcy of it the point here?

"Why let one class of people shower with their muses while denying the majority the very same privilege? Otherwise won't we have to make lesbians shower with hetero men?

"So they aren't making the women in the shower uncomfortable? Ditto for gay guys. Will gay men only shower with hetero women? What do we do with the transgendered or bisexuals?" he said.

The reaction was moving far beyond the ranks, too. Leading traditionalist civil rights attorneys were dismayed by the law's enactment, but vowed to join veterans and active duty servicemen in the fight.

"What was it that turned Alan Colmes into the industrial strength, America hating moron he is today? Was it because he grew up looking like Skeletor? Did he get his whiny butt kicked by kids who actually liked America? Was it because he was born with a fraction of the normal human brain? Whatever it was, Alan Colmes is one of the biggest idjits in the public eye. And I blame Fox News! Fox normally has fine looking conservative fillies in short skirts. But when it comes to males, we are fed a constant diet of Karl Rove (the architect of Republican disaster), Newt Gingrich (the Great American RINO) and the uber-tool Alan Colmes. Why not just cut to the chase and link in Mr. Potato Head Chavez from Venezuela to parrot the whack-job, anti-American communist line we suffer with Colmes? You’d get the same result."
