There is also confusion as to whether or not this refers to the Black Pope "Lucifer", or an actual Black man as Pope. Some think it has to be both.

I take particular and personal joy in reminding Obama, Biden, Rahm et al. that the last person to regularly use the phrase "buck up" to rally his troops was....

Richard Nixon.

Who in their Right mind can disagree here with Monica? Who in their Right mind doesn't see today's Democrats as an out-of-control horde of Marxified donkeys and toady Dhimmicrats?

Monica would know about her old boss, Richard Nixon, and how intelligent he was, whether or not she wants to give him due credit for two historic, even monumental "accomplishments."

1. Taking the US off the gold standard. Consequences for the once almighty dollar as the Demopublican spenders ran wild ever since: "Buck down". And what troops did that rally, aside from Wall Street and the Great Welfare State?

2. Introducing the insidious racist concept known as "Affirmative Action." Yes, that was Tricky Dicky's work too.

He takes America off the gold standard, and then the Merit Standard: Did Nixon ever try to rally the troops with "Buck down!" followed by "Buck you!"

Maybe Monica can tell us about it.

Ummahgummah

Maybe we should tell them to "Shut the Buck Up".

Is it unfair to expect Monica to get as excited about NY Republican candidate for Governor Carl Paladino as she does about NJ Governor Christie?

Both these guys appear to be fiscal conservatives. How do they differ, except in style?

Well, is the Mosque a Leading Indicator? Christie has told everybody to shut up about the Ground Zero Victory Mosque. Christie calls the feelings against the mosque "politicizing" it, as he equates mass outrage with politician-speak. A perfect Republican, with Bush-like potential. But Carl Paladino will not shut up about the Ground Zero Victory Mosque. In fact he vows to stop it after being elected.

Monica, true, seems to be against this jihadi Mosque. However, Saudi Prince Alaweed is a part owner of Fox (News Corp)Can even someone with Bill O'Reilly's clout at Fox afford to stare down Prince Alaweed, especially if Alaweed agrees with NY Mayor Nannyberg: Build the Mosque?

Conclusion: If the Alaweed/Paladino/Mosque factor cannot be ignored at Fox, I, for one, have no wish to nudge Monica into hot water, like Carl Paladino. Maybe she can do it gradually, in a low key manner, instead of right now, and maybe not too unflinchingly? You know, something that would not draw unwanted Alaweed-like attention? Who wants Murdoch or Roger Ailes to get a call from Riyadh, and pass it on to Bill O'Reilly? Not I.

Surely we can agree that Carl Paladino is no Chris Christie. We might even agree that Chris Christie is no
Carl Paladino.

This might be of particular interest to both Monica and Gringoman:

I just received this email from my 9.12 group. I pass it along for your reading pleasure.
"According to sources who watch the inner workings of the federal government, a smackdown of Barack Obama by the U.S. Supreme Court may be inevitable.
Ever since Obama assumed the office of President, critics have hammered him on a number of Constitutional issues. Critics have complained that much if not all of Obama's major initiatives run headlong into Constitutional roadblocks on the power of the federal government.
Obama certainly did not help himself in the eyes of the Court when he used the venue of the State of the Union address early in the year to publicly flog the Court over its ruling that the First Amendment grants the right to various organizations to run political ads during the time of an election.
The tongue-lashing clearly did not sit well with the Court, as demonstrated by Justice Sam Alito, who publicly shook his head and stated under his breath, 'That's not true,' whenObama told a flat-out lie concerning the Court's ruling.
As it has turned out, this was a watershed moment in the relationship between the executive and the judicial branches of the federal government. Obama publicly declared war on the court, even as he blatantly continued to propose legislation that flies in the face of every known Constitutional principle upon which this nation has stood for over 200 years.
Obama has even identified Chief Justice John Roberts as his number one enemy, that is, apart from Fox News and Rush Limbaugh. And it is no accident that the one swing-vote on the court, Justice Anthony Kennedy, stated recently that he has no intention of retiring until 'Obama is gone.'
Apparently, the Court has had enough.
The Roberts Court has signaled, in a very subtle manner, of course, that it intends to address the issues about which Obama critics have been screaming to high heaven. A ruling against Obama on any one of these important issues could potentially cripple the Administration.
Such a thing would be long overdue.
First, there is ObamaCare, which violates the Constitutional principle barring the federal government from forcing citizens to purchase something. And no, this is not the same thing as states requiring drivers to purchase car insurance, as some of the intellectually-impaired claim. The Constitution limits FEDERAL government, not state governments, from such things, and further, not everyone has to drive, and thus, a citizen could opt not to purchase car insurance by simply deciding not to drive a vehicle.
In the ObamaCare world, however, no citizen can 'opt out.'
Second, sources state that the Roberts court has quietly accepted information concerning discrepancies in Obama's history that raise serious questions about his eligibility for the office of President. The charge goes far beyond the birth certificate issue. This information involves possible fraudulent use of a Social Security number in Connecticut, while Obama was a high school student in Hawaii. And that is only the tip of the iceberg.
Third, several cases involving possible criminal activity, conflicts of interest, and pay-for-play cronyism could potentially land many Administration officials, if not the President himself, in hot water with the Court. Frankly, in the years this writer has observed politics, nothing comes close to comparing with the rampant corruption of this Administration, not even during the Nixon years. Nixon and the Watergate conspirators look like choirboys compared to the jokers that populate this Administration.
In addition, the Court will eventually be forced to rule on the dreadful decision of the Obama DOJ to sue the state of Arizona. That, too, could send the Obama doctrine of open borders to an early grave, given that the Administration refuses to enforce federal law on illegal aliens.
And finally, the biggie that could potentially send the entire house of cards tumbling in a free-fall is the latest revelation concerning the Obama-Holder Department of Justice and its refusal to pursue the New Black Panther Party. The group is caught on tape committing felonies by attempting to intimidate Caucasian voters into staying away from the polls.
A whistle-blower who resigned from the DOJ is now charging Holder with the deliberate refusal to pursue cases against Blacks, particularly those who are involved in radical hate-groups, such as the New Black Panthers, who have been caught on tape calling for the murder of white people and their babies.
This one is a biggie that could send the entire Administration crumbling--that is, if the Justices have the guts to draw a line in the sand at the Constitution and the Bill of Rights."

Will Monica forgive me for not getting the name of an extremely important part-owner of News Corp exactly right?

However, in tracking down the correct spelling (it's not 'Alaweed,') some other facts were found too---extremely interesting facts in light of the Ground Zero Victory Mosque controversy.

ATTENTION: Apparently this Saudistic Prince is VERY involved with GZM, which Mayor Nannyberg supports, Andrew "Subprime" Cuomo supports, Monica's NJ Governor Christie tells us to shut up about, and which NY Gubernatorial Candidate Carl Paladino vows to stop in its camel tracks.

Fox Shareholder Prince Alwaleed Meets With News Corp Execs To Discuss How To ‘Strengthen The Alliance’

Yesterday morning on Fox & Friends, Fox News contributor Dan Senor observed that The Kingdom Foundation, whose chairman Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal (Fox News-parent company News Corp’s second-largest shareholder), is a funder for the Cordoba House Initiative. “The Kingdom Foundation, so you know, is this Saudi organization, headed up by the guy that tried to give Rudy Giuliani $10 million after 9/11 that was sent back, funds radical madrassas all over the world,” Senor said. “And he funds this imam,” Fox host Brian Kilmeade chimed in. Watch it:

Monica: Take care.

If Monica can't get behind GZM opponent Carl Paladino with quite the same fervor shown for NJ Governor Christie, we
understand, do we not?

Who would want Monica to get in trouble with Prince Alwaleed bin Talal over an issue about which Republican Gov Christie tells us to shut up?

Are we doomed?

James H. writes:

Subject: We ARE doomed

On the subject of Mark Steyn's defeatism, the root of the problem with Islam is that liberals have created the civil rights prism for viewing all things. Beginning in the '60s, not only could minorities not be discriminated against, nothing could be permitted that might lead to discrimination. So minorities can't be criticized, they must be helped along, their crimes and deficiencies must be overlooked, and they must be actively praised and the majority denigrated in comparison.
Moslems--a minority in the West--can claim this protection, and our entire legal, political, and cultural system gives it to them. The anti-Islam strategy is to portray Islam as a primitive, oppressive belief system, or fascist--and everybody hates fascism! We are taught to hate fascism, sexism, racism, and homophobia as soon as we can sit up. Islam does indeed include all these things.

But it doesn't matter. Third World minority status overrides all this, because we are also taught that it is racist to expect these people to be like us, in this case enlightened multiculturalists.

Fighting Islam can only succeed if the taboo against criticizing minorities is lifted. But this is a structural part of our culture and society. To breach it is to become a pariah. Can Moslems be peeled off from blacks, women, and gays as a victim group that can be criticized? Maybe somebody smarter than me can figure it out, explain it, and do it, but I'm stumped.

LA replies:

You write:
"Fighting Islam can only succeed if the taboo against criticizing minorities is lifted. But this is a structural part of our culture and society. To breach it is to become a pariah."

That's very well said. But you're not saying anything new. You are pointing to the fundamental dilemma and the fundamental challenge which is the constant theme of this website. We already know that if liberalism stays in the saddle we are doomed. We already know that the only chance of survival is if the rule of liberalism is overthrown or substantially weakened. So instead of saying, "We are doomed," how about saying, "I believe in life and truth and our civilization. Therefore I don't believe that this false suicidal ideology of liberalism will remain in control of us forever. I believe liberalism can be toppled."

And if, in the end, despite all our efforts, we lose anyway, our struggle against liberalism will not have been wasted. The understanding of the falsity and evil of liberalism that we have gained will have become part of the wisdom of the human race, and will help guide men in the future.

It's really pathetic when leaders blame the American people for their own failures. Shameful. We now know that this guy doesn't have the manhood to accept responsibility for his own policies and program. Now he blames his supporters for his failures and hides behind accusations that they are not doing their job.

Mrs Hamburg says she does not like the idea of kicking out illegal immigrants. It reminds her too much of Nazi Germany. She prefers to move off Manhattan and go to Jersey.

Clearly, the redistribution of wealth and population around the globe, initiated during the Bush administration, was a mistake - and one that could have been prevented if there had been a sensible dialog. Instead an international plan was implemented and the public cutout of the loop, and the result is a condition that is worse than the initial problem.

It was not racism to reduce the population of regions that were overrun with people and the land unable to sustain them. Through a redistribution the problems these regions had will spread to other regions as well, and affect all cultures and races instead of just some. The people to blame are not countries like the US - but those who have not constrained their populations despite shortages and too many people being born. The solution was simple and in fact there is only this solution - adjustment of these populations to normal, sustainable levels. The world cannot absorb these people - it is only so large, and can sustain only so many. Is it not better that people are not born rather than to kill by waging war? This idea has found its time.

The US does not waste the material supplies of the world; it simply has a different fashion of living that uses more and produces more, and this was beneficial to the world. For the US to absorb large numbers of immigrants as it is doing, will require a shift away from the life we had, to one more closely like India or China. Is that what we want? To live just so many more others can also live, until global famine envelopes everyone?

The course we are on, seemingly humane, merely postpones the problem, and makes it more pervasive.
We need to stop migration, and deal with each country's problems separately, where they occur. We do not have long, for the economic arrangement with China will soon disintegrate. Without a plan, everyone will have to fight or suffer. Who would want to doom the globe to this dismal future? Surely they would understand.

The U.S. dollar is sliding dangerously close to a steep cliff -- a possible point of no return at which the currency could collapse and America could join the ranks of the world's banana republics.

http://seekingalpha.com/article/227136-6-reasons-why-a-dollar-crisis-is-imminent?source=hp_wc

On August 15, 1971 Monica's old boss, Republican President Richard Nixon, took the US dollar off the gold standard. What happened, subsequently, to the "Almighty Dollar" (as it was widely called)?

Back then, you could buy an ounce of gold for 35 dollars. Today that same ounce costs over 1300 dollars. Same gold, different dollar.

Did Nixon ever tell Monica why he did that---really why he did it, why instead of gold he let paper back paper? He was a smart guy. Bet he had his reasons, like most smart guys.

Will Monica talk?

This is eminently true. I have no idea why we western countries have to pick up the slack for all those Turd world places who don't practice population discipline.

Even worse, moslem nations have an at least semi-official policy of "out-breeding" other nations and then swamping them with "immigrant" invaders. (Bouhmedienne, Gaddafi, Erdogan and others have stated this as their intention)

Add to that the stated goal of some like La Raza to take over the American Southwest via "immigration".

Under these cricumstances we need to protect ourselves from them, rather than keep pretending that these "poor downtrodden meemmegrants" are anything like the Jewish refugees of World War Two.

We should be grateful that so many of these people have openly stated their goals so when we close our borders and prepare our weapons of self-protection we can answer their claims of "racism" or whatever with a reminder of their very own utterances they made in the past.

It is indeed either US or them. Or it will be US and them.

Obama went to Merkel first, expecting the Germans to be racists, and to not participate with the general plan. There is no telling what is ahead. Hillary might invite Sikhs, Haitians, Pakistanis, and Chinese. The country might double or even triple its population over the next decade or two. I would expect the income of the average American to dramatically fall unless people put up more resistance.

And as for finance - it is crazy. It has the semblance of normalcy, but face it- those transfers of payments are just numbers in computers and there is no way anyone can back anything.

The White House spokesman went on to say that there are lots of Malik Zulu Shabazzes in this country and around the world, and that he knew for a fact that the President didn't have any involvement whatsoever in the dismissal of those charges against Shabazz and other Black Panthers, and the DOJ and the American Civil Rights Commission agrees with him. Buffett is trying to rid himself of his misbegotten gains by giving it away to charity - they should be stopped. The money they are giving away belongs to the US treasury. Isn't it insane for expert money managers and economic advisers, in an economic crisis, to find the way ahead is to give away their money? It seems conspiratorial doesn't it? Like they re trying to escape prison.

The US government must somehow make financial arrangements with other countries, the goal being debt cancellation and reduction. Like credit card companies, the debt must be reduced, to salvage the capital financial system and keep it from admitting its total collapse.

I believe Obama's plan is to let it collapse and throw it at the feet of the UN. The result would be chaos, and falling back into a dark age.

Dgscol

I believe Obama is committed to the destruction of the US. He should be stopped ASAP- impeached and replaced by someone who will reverse the ongoing process - like Paladino before it is impossible to do anything. I do not believe Biden, or corrupted members of Congress will help in this matter. Some order and control is necessary to keep pandemonium from breaking out.

It is important to avoid belligerency, but at the same time deal with the problems at hand in a realistic and sensible way with other global leaders, and with each other. No doubt instability and inflexibility will lead to problems. :-)

It is senseless to watch Obama stall for time - education and medicine have no money.
