BULLETIN: A demand has been made--by an old associate of Barack Obama--which involves Monica's brother-in-law, Alan Colmes///////

Daniel Pipes posted an article today on Louis Farrakhan’s demand that American Jews pay blacks reparations. Pipes quotes Farrakhan:

“This is an offer asking you and the gentiles [sic] whom you influence to help me in the repair of my people from the damage that has been done by your ancestors to mine.”

http://article.nationalreview.com/437977/farrakhan-demands-reparations-from-jews/daniel-pipes

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are said to be cash-friendly,but Minister Farrakhan and the NAACP want to keep it more dignified. It's believed they're okay with credit cards.

Monica, Alan is, as we know, a good liberal. Is he and "the gentiles he influences" ready to pay up?

rick

OK, so now we know Peter prefers to look at Mr. Rachel Maddow rather than my Monica on tv. Ok, Pete, now that's revealing. BTW, folks, Bobo is now wearing the flag lapel pin everywhere he goes which means, of course, he's campaigning again, but more desperately.....cheers, rick

An earthquake hits D.C.? God is in HIS heaven. BTW Gringo, the answer to your question is on the previous blog....Meanwhile, i'm dressing for Church----Waaallll, actually, i'm dressing to meet a few other Veterans at a gun range close by. We'll spank targets for a coupla hours, then go and eat cheeseburgers; all the while merrily insulting our Mullah-in-Chief.

GAB, by the way, still welcomes anyone at Monicamemo to tell us who if not Sarah Palin. You may enter more than one name, if you have more than one.

----------------------------

Sarah Palin, at the moment, is definitely the strongest candidate the GOP has to offer. But even if she does run and actually win, what , realistically, can she do to change the disastrous course this country is headed in? She already stated she supports "a path to citizenship" for illegal aliens. In that way she's no different than the Dems or Bush or McCain or Lindsey Grahm et al. I can't see why people don't understand the Republicans are leading us down the same calamitous immigration road as the Democrats. If current trends continue, the population of the USA will balloon to 441 million people in 40 years. In a world were developing and developed countries are already competing for dwindling fossil fuel resources, how will adding 140 million new citizens affect the energy supply distribution in the USA? It, of course, can't result in anything else than skyrocketing costs, which will lead to a drastic lowering of the overall standard of living for everyone except the ruling class. In other words both the Democrats and the Republicans are reducing the USA into a second rate fill in the blank ___________.

Dgscol

Nobody Knows: Who knew that the Bush family was of Mexican blood? The news was admitted today that Jeb Jeb Bush, who vehemently condemned Arizona for prosecuting the "civil" rights of illegal aliens by saying: "I'm Mexican-American, I could be picked up."

We should have suspected it when his brother, President George W. Bush, reprimanded native patriots for trying to protect their own borders, by calling them all "vigilantes."

Amazing : Holder could be Jeb's AT.

mjfell

There's nothing "progressive" about our current government.

If America continues down their path, our nation will regress back to that against which our founding fathers revolted. A nation of menial subjects, vulnerable to the whims of a spoiled, out of touch ruling class who believe themselves entitled to privileged rights.

Call them what they are: regressive socialists.

gringoman

Okay, Monica,re Mel From Hell: Yes, you did tend to hold him to account yesterday on WABC Radio but, like many a Mel Gibson fan(and I was one in my way) you were a bit rough on the alluring Russianette, Oksana. Did he drink himself into oblivion and make a total jackass out of himself with her? Sure, but he's a big boy now, just because he's terrified of not being able to see Young Stud in the mirror anymore. (Life will go on, Mel, even as the maggots crawl through your marinated brains.)Sure, Libworld will not protect him like they will child raper Polansky. We know that. But does this justify "conservsatives" in trying to make excuses for their Hellboy, in effect making the "gold-digger" who bore his child (and held it while he knocked out one of her teeth, shrieks for a BJ,like any street punk, threatens to burn down her house, after she's raped by the pigmented) is she equally responsible for a Mother of All Mid-Life Crises? I think not and hope she digs at least 10 million in gold out of his sick butt in the settlement. No reason to take my word that she's earned it. Here is a woman (from ABC News comments) who understands these situations in a way that most of the opinionated do not)///////

Admin Link: 90
As a woman who had been married to a man like Mel Gibson, I can tell you that you will do anything to protect your self from a man whom everyone thinks is the next best thing to God. Everyone loves them because they are funny and charismatic, but they don't see the true man behind closed doors. I know, been there, done that. I also made tapes just to protect myself when the time came because I knew it was the only way that people would believe me. Some people even knew what was going on in my case, but stood beside him because they "love their friends warts and all" Thank God I was able to leave that situation and still be able to say this, because it was almost not the case. When I heard those tapes it was a flashback, the words, the speech patterns and I could visualize the foaming of the mouth. You don't realize how out of control some people are until you live in that situation.

DJ,

Sounds like you doubt that Sarah Palin--or anybody--can measure up against the forces that be---but you see no alternative.

You might be closer to GAB consensus than you think. The main difference is that our gang is inclined to give the benefit of a doubt.

mjfell

"House Democrats are angry because they see the White House throwing them under the bus, but let’s not forget that House Democrats gave President Obama every dollar, every tax hike, every stimulus program and every government takeover that he asked for," House Minority Leader Rep. John Boehner said.

mjfell

Rules for Radicals is the title of the book, A Practical Primer for Realistic Radicals, by Saul Alinsky who’s no longer alive, but his work lives on.
Here is Saul Alinsky’s dedication to his own book:

“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins — or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer

TexasPride

All right! I'll be watching. You and Laura are always terrific on The Factor! Just don't coddle these SOBs like O'Reilly does. Give 'em both barrels!

DJ

"Sounds like you doubt that Sarah Palin--or anybody--can measure up against the forces that be---but you see no alternative."

I think the alternative is a third party.

"You might be closer to GAB consensus than you think."

I've never thought otherwise, Gringoman. It's a rare occasion indeed when I disagree with GAB. In addition, I thought your essay on "Compassionism" was brilliant.

Dgscol

It is reported that Oksana could have loosened her veneer with a nail file .....

According to Cisnero's DIRECT-TV Latino, some of the best baseball players have been Hispanic. There are the Alou brothers, all the Hernandezs', Gonzalez' ...
Rod Carew and Roberto Clemente.

How about opening up try outs to provide some jobs for poor Venezuelans, some who have acquired loans just to come to America for a tryout, with their gloves ... to brave the desert and the border patrol. What is wrong with deepening the pitching, adding a few shortstops and maybe some extra fielders? What good is the American league without more Latinos? There could be another league - maybe the south league. They would like to make big dollars but are willing to start at minimum wage.
They have good chew - with some coca leaves mixed in.

C'mon. Just give 'em a chance.

Dgscol

Newt, are you aware that gravity is an illusion?

Newt is continuing to carry around that old dinosaur bone about privatizing Social Security. While I share his zeal for cutting entitlements (especially waste, graft, and runaway expenses), which has been a goal since Reagan, there are many reasons not to privatize Social Security. This is the largest dumb thing any politician could think.

http://www.socsec.org/publications.asp?pubid=503

Besides these reasons, the loss of a large pool on money under government control, leaves the Congress without leverage in controlling the banks.

Dgscol

Just an idea : Without a large pool of money, the only other major stabilizing entity at the government's disposal is a large budget.

Dgscol

The best way to secure elders in retirement that might face social security reductions, is not to throw their lots into the wind with privatization, but to create a thriving economic climate that increases social security funding and provides jobs.

There is a difference between decreasing the size, scope and cost of government, and destabilizing it. The goal is not to cause a cataclysmic collapse, or fragmentation of government through outside dealing, but to build a consensus behind a reform of unneeded, or poorly controlled programs (of which there are a lot). There is more destabilization going on than constructive reform.

Jon

OK. The NAACP needs to calm down on the Iowa Tea Party Hitler/Obama sign.

Hitler was a white man. He was a socialist. The sign wasn't about race, it was about politics. George Bush was called Hitler by the left. The sign was a mistake by the Tea Party because they don't gain by playing the same game as the left wing nuts. They realized that and took it down. They need to focus only on what the U.S. Govt should be, not just screaming that it or Obama is bad.

Other race related claims made by the NAACP need to be substantiated before they can be screamed about by the NAACP. In this day and age if you don't have pictures and/or video and audio then you are just blowing smoke. Especially if you are talking about rallies and protests.

Glad to see Monica with a turn on the Factor!

monica crowley was correct as she said there is no difference between the panthers and the black muslims.i witnessed the beliefs of both and both are hate filled.

Monica,

You were awesome! heard O is retiring next year to go out on top -- you passed the audition with flying colors. Know alan but deeply misguided politically -- if you are interested in the 2nd amendment, check out www.2ndamendmentpa.com -- we could use your clout!

From the PBS piece on Nixon :

In 1972, he vetoed the Clean Water Act, which he generally supported, because Congress had boosted its cost to $18 billion. When Congress overrode his veto, he used his presidential powers to impound half of the money.

Awesome! So much different than 1T packages assembled like stacked earmarks.

BTW - Don't forget to say a prayer for Chris Hitchens.

Thanks Truther. Good point. I find his use of Federalism interesting. What's wrong with Chris Hitchens?

M/M

I'm not sure if I'm a Libertarian or if people who claim to be Libertarians are truly Libertarian:

"Hitchens, known as a lifelong smoker and pernicious drinker, said he must undergo chemotherapy on his esophagus."
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504763_162-20009351-10391704.html

I'm an ex-smoker and I understand how people discriminate against smokers but hey, I think the LIEberals are doing them a favor with the sin taxes and smoking bans. It helped me and quitting was a lot easier than the alternative (even though it could still happen to me).

I understand that the government isn't my mommy, but you really have to wonder about a group of people who continue to participate in such destructive behavior.

Sorry, just can't see myself protesting taxes on cigarettes, soda and junk food. I have a choice in not participating in the tax by choosing other products that are not taxed, which are probably healthier.

I think Monica is on to something per the Clintons.

I heard a VERY constructived idea proposed by Kinky Friedman on the Imus program. He suggested that politicians be limited to TWO TERMS - ONE in office, and, ONE in prison!

The British are blaming AMOCO, headquartered in Chicago, for the Lockerbie deal. And we thought the English were letting BP do its intelligence work, which was the problem. Now there is only one fix : We need to get the oil after BP figures out how to do that, and then we need someone like Cheney, perhaps his daughter, to put Abdelbaset Al Megrahi, on a list.

Why did Amoco and BP merge to begin with?

Dgscol

In the same week that the U.K.'s David Cameron raised brows with his call to create floating prisons, looks like another politician has jumped the shark. This time, it's California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, weighing in with an equally outlandish solution to California's prison problems: outsource inmates to Mexico.

Quoth the Governator:

"[We'll] pay them to build the prisons down in Mexico and then we have those undocumented immigrants be down there in a prison..."

Could save 1B/annum. The same idea has been considered in India/Sumatra.

The latest release of Mel Gibson referring to the Jacuzzi, et al.. What was it that was wrong about that again...i'm trying to understand here......what, ah, is there something i'm missing with that....cheers, rick

Mel's already played Hamlet though i suppose that's not news to everybody. He was pretty good, too. Gringo,

I'm waiting for new blood to emerge. I've got reservations about Palin, too much luggage.

DJ

The last poll reveals the leading Reoublican presidential candidates are Romney, Huckabee and Newt. They are tied at 47% approval with Sarah Palin close behind at 45%. No serious person thinks Romney, Huckabee, or Newt can beat Obama in 2012. As a consequence there are rumblings in the rumor mill that powerful interests are trying to coax Jeb Bush into entering the fray. Wouldn't that be a hoot if our choice in 2012 will be between Jeb Bush and the Rod Ham? I say a hoot because the two party system has become a joke.

With the likes of "insurgent" Scott Brown of MASS folding (in Obama's socialist financial regulation bill) and Monica with a straight face pushing the crypto-socialist Bush boys. the G.O.P. tends to reveal it's uber strategy. The socialist fix is in. They'll let the despicable Dems take credit for it, of course: "Folks, we tried to stop those liberals. You heard us blabber about 'fiscal responsibility' yada-yada. Didn't Monica offer you true conservative blacks to vote for, yada-yada....?"

A third party? For 2012 that's a joke too. Maybe a principled joke. Maybe even an admirable joke. But still: a joke---a despairing surrender to the Obots and/or the more subtly socialist RINO/G.O.P

rick

Sorry about the silliness yesterday fellow posters; now i'm back to defending my country. May i pose a question? Thanks. If Mexico's own northern border is insecure is it not illogical to assert our southern border IS? I put the case to you in another form----if your next door neighbor's home and property are beset with strife that spills out to and at times over the fence separating the two properties are your property and lives safe or at risk? Survey SAYS---at risk! The repeated statements by high-profile members of our own govt. to the contrary must then be viewed as cynical and more likely sinister. Now, after hearing for some weeks that muslim jihadists are at or have crossed the southern border, which for me has been a foregone conclusion for a long time, Mexico has experienced a car bomb. Pretty soon?---there goes the Sun Bowl in El Paso. It's close to mid-night in America and i hear the clock ticking.

rick

An open question: when we experience the next attack and if, as it probably will be, our enemies plan it or bring it from our southern border will the US Military move ITSELF to the border if the Pres. does not order it so?

DJ

So as long as the Republican Party keeps offering up RINOs such as the Bushes, McCain, Dole and now Romney, Huckabee, Newt et al we are ef'ing trapped. I swear if "The Stupid Party" runs another RINO for pres, I'll vote for Obama. Or in the unlikely event the Rod Ham runs against and defeats Obama in the primary, I'll vote for her. I agree with Ummah Gummah's logic: better we get this slide into a multicult socialist dystopia over with as fast as possible so we can pick up the pieces and start over. The Republicans with only forestall the enevitable a bit whilst the Dems will take us over the cliff is short order.

DJ

Sould read: The Republicans WILL only forestall the INEVITABLE whilst the Dems will take us over the cliff IN short order.

I'm afraid too much damage has done to Sarah Palin; via Levi, liberal media, hollywood, etc. I like her, I just wonder if she is electable. Her luggage is personal, none of our business, but the media will pounce on absolutely anything to help a dimocratic opponent of hers. Even her poor child has become a subject of ridicule, something that would never have been allowed to happen to a liberal's child. Now we've got a possible son-in-law issue. Help me Gringo.
