At the same time Obama was blistering the big banks, we learn that the head of the Biggest, Meanest, Greediest Bank, Goldman Sachs, has been to the White House at least 4 times for meetings with Obama and his chief economic adviser, Larry Summers---WHILE Goldman's lawyers were negotiating with the SEC over civil fraud charges against Goldman.
Now THAT'S weird! The president who pledged to bring a new kind of politics to Washington, stripped of conflicts of interest and lobbying and big money and special favors seemingly engaged in all of those things? At once?!
Say it ain't so! Of course, it's so. In the immortal words of Obama's former pastor, Jeremiah Wright: "No messiah here, just another politician."
Obama was on Wall Street today, acting the hypocrite. He went on about the damage done by the big banks while he and his White House are up to their eyeballs in the big banks. They love them well enough to take---and keep---their money. They love them well enough to schmooze with their Chairmen. They love them well enough to court their votes.
But in public, they wield the plastic pitchforks in a faux populist kabuki dance. Obama has turned his campaign tagline---"hope and change"---into a punchline. The only problem is that no one is laughing.
To quote Sir Walter Scott: "Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive."
And, the Republicans? Want to keep the status quo. They're profiting to much to want to change anything.

Folks, we're back to two liberal herpes sores infesting the blog.. this JayHADIST drone is spewing its KOS talking points all over the place..
I guess it's all part of the strategy the Bamanauts have devised where they are having their agents call Conservative radio shows and spread liberal dogma there.
Soros got him sum deep pockets.. made off all those people he put out of work when he nearly destroyed the British pound. He's done more damage to England than Adolf Hitler. With a much tinier staff too..
And now he's working the Euro vs. the Dollar. He got his pet Commie Community activist in the White House destroying American Industry over here and the lazy Greeks dragging the EU down with them.
Between the two, they can revel in how Capitalism and the Free Market have failed AS A DIRECT RESULT OF THEIR POLICIES, while drumming up support for socialism.

LIEBERALISM IS A MENTAL DISORDER

Unfortunately, when you live in a termite castle, in order to wipe out the bad termites who are eating the castle instead of the good termites who are building it and keeping it together, you have two choices:
Hire a professional extermination company that REALLY KNOWS TERMITES AND CAN TELL GOOD FROM BAD, or if you don't trust any of them, SPEND A LOT OF TIME WITH TERMITES GETTING TO KNOW THEM SO YOU CAN KNOW HOW TELL THE GOOD FROM THE BAD TO WIPE ONLY THE BAD TERMITES OUT.
So you can keep your lovely termite castle tall, healthy, and strong.
Of course, simple logic escapes some folks. Usually the ones supporting the a-holes meeting with the bad termites trying to figure out how to stop you from KILLING THE BAD WHILE LEAVING THE GOOD and how to confuse you into doing EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE.
Conservatism is not a mental disorder; it is a lie.
Posted by: xbjllb | April 22, 2010 at 07:29 PM
WHY IS "CONSERVATISM" A LIE?
Conservatives claim to want the status quo; they claim they want things to stop changing. In many extreme cases, they want to turn back the clock to an earlier time.
However, what conservatives claim to want and what they consistently achieve are two completely different things.
What conservatism consistently achieves is:
1. Increased Big Business control of government through decreased government. AKA textbook fascism as described by Mussolini himself, who was in a position to know exactly what fascism is
2. Decreased social services for all
3. Increased wealth to the top tier of the rich in society through tax cuts for the wealthy
4. Increased poverty among the poor
5. A decimated middle class that increases the ranks of the poor and whose wealth is siphoned off to the rich in retirement wall street scams and in scam programs like the failed push to "privatize" social security (often before a huge planned crash in the stock market)
6. An increased and enlarged military complex that infests every state of the union with jobs that instantly foster eternal dependence, and a military force with the capability, willingness, and directives from superiors to turn on its own citizens
7. The continued status quo regarding social causes like stopping abortion, the "defense" of heterosexual marriage against gay marriage, etc. No matter how many billions are raised to change these things. The latest being health care reform repeal.
There are many more, but these are the most important achievements that prove, beyond all shadow of a doubt, that the so-called "conservative" movement in this country is anything but.
Conservatism is not a mental disorder; it is a lie.
It is Conservatives themselves who are mentally disordered, who labor for and support a system that consistently does exactly the opposite of what it says it wants to achieve.

Needless to say, I was personally moved to read his kind words of praise. I’m honored to be seen in this light by such a great Patriot and proud to think of him as a friend. I pray for his safety as well as the safety of all our brave men and women in uniform. May God bless them and may God bless America.

About Sunday's golf game - you were right, I was wrong:
"It’s doubtful that the Polish Americans can be fooled again, especially since the Obama White House and President Obama himself lack FDR’s sophistication in manipulating public opinion, although they certainly share his naive trust in Russia’s autocratic leaders. In fact, Obama is being manipulated by Putin and Medvedev. They are far more clever and sophisticated than the U.S. President when it comes to the knowledge and political use of history, public diplomacy and public opinion. The late President Kaczynski understood President Obama’s weak grasp of history. Shortly after the White House announced its decision to pull the missile defense system from Poland, the Polish President sat next to President Barack Obama at a luncheon in New York where world leaders were gathered for the UN session of the General Assembly. During his meeting with Barack Obama, President Kaczynski gave him a copy of Alex Storozynski’s book about Tadeusz Kosciuszko: The Peasant Prince: Thaddeus Kosciuszko and the Age of Revolution, Polish Press Agency reported. President Obama’s copy of The Peasant Prince had an inscription from the author which said: “To President Obama, May Kosciuszko inspire you to learn more about Poland, the country whose motto is, For Your Freedom and Ours.”
As a result of the Kremlin’s brilliant public relations strategy and Obama’s failure to grasp the importance of historical symbolism, Poland and Russia may develop closer ties while U.S.-Polish relations will weaken. While there is nothing wrong with Poland and Russia getting along better, Poland should not be forced to make painful and unnecessary compromises with the Kremlin simply because the U.S. has a president with a naive worldview reminiscent of Franklin Roosevelt’s assessment of Stalin.
See the link below how the Polish media has reacted to President Obama’s faux pas. "

UGH, it would be great if for once you could explain this close minded mentality. That, only those of one mind can speak. And, not those of another. Think you need to learn what this country was founded on. My ONLY point earlier. Was that BOTH sided benefit from this big money spending. On FOXnews, where the President is anti-Obama. They pointed to several big Financial institutions that gave a lot to the GOP.
The true mental disorder is this close minded metality

South Park episode censored after Muslim group’s warning
http://rawstory.com/rs/2010/0422/south-park-episode-censored-muslim-groups-warning/
The website was largely unavailable Wednesday but a CNN report said the statement was posted alongside a graphic photo of slain Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh, who was murdered by a Muslim extremist in Amsterdam in 2004.
The statement posted the address of "South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker's Los Angeles production offices, CNN reported.
"We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo van Gogh for airing this show," the group said. "This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality that will likely happen to them."

Yet another talking point spewing regressive socialist? Oh brother. I guess they're so busy reading the lies they're fed by their "leadership" to observe simple facts.
Wall Street and big corporations, including the major network news media and Hollywood are now primarily in the hands of DemocRATS.
Republicans predominantly make up the middle class. Remember them? The hard working small business owners who'll be destroyed by the cost of mandates contained in the government run healthcare law, the cost of fees levied by massive draconian regulations imposed by an out of control EPA, and the smothering tax increases found in the looming tax and trade legislation. how much will a $3.00 gallon of milk cost after gasoline is $10.00 a gallon and there's a value added tax.
Anyone who's ever studied history knows that big tax and spend governments always end up a miserable failure. An all powerful government always ends up in tyranny, where compliance by enslaved citizens is enforced with the barrel of a gun.
Gee, why wouldn't Conservatives be ready to jump at a chance to live that fate?
It only proves Ann Coulter's correct. If Democrats had brains they'd be Republicans.

Don't believe it one bit.As I said, Foxnews showed how some of the biggest financial institutions gave heavily to the GOP. That's not me talking. That's what the news channel that is owned by a big Anti-Obama conservative pointed out. If, the Republicans are for the middle class. Then, why do they take the side that benefits the rich?
Republicans are also made up of the rich.Who want the laws passed that benefits them. As Buffet said, His Secretary pays a greater percentage of her income on taxes than he does.
I know, these "conservatives" will start yelling this and that. It's all a conspiracy run by the enemy. As, I said all along. It's always the other side that gets blamed for everything.

Does any conservative know that big financial corporations large sums of money to the GOP? Do, conservatives even care?Since, it points to the fact that maybe that's why they want to keep the status quo?
Guess coservatives want to believe that their party is holy with no faults.
Several corp.as big as Goldman gave to the GOP.Maybe the GOP gets all their money from those lil old ladies with their Packards I mentioned before.
My point about Buffet was that the rich members of Congress gave themselves the low Capital Gains tax that Buffet profited from. He made the comment that the situation between his tax situation and that of his secretary's wasn't fair.
"You LIEberals and your talking points get DEMOLISHED in here!"

April--
Take a quick survey of the big Wall Street CEOs that the current White House occupant is "attacking". They're all DemocRATS who've made huge contributions to DemocRATic candidates.
You're wrong. You need to do some investigative research before you make an april fool of yourself. But you actually researching the facts probably isn't in the cards. Regressive socialists don't like to muddle their positions with facts. Just baseless accusations.
"Republicans are the Party of the fat cats."
"Tea Parties are violent racists."
"The Republican Party is the Party of no."
"The economic collapse of 2008 was the fault of failed Republican Party policies and George W. Bush."
None of which are factually correct, if you're familiar with verifiable information.

---------------------------------------------------
This is so micro-brained it's almost a complete waste of time to respond.
Regressive socialists like April always cry about fat cats giving campaign contributions to Republicans. Check the contributions to your own party and where they came from. Oh, but that would require an open mind willing to look at both sides of the story...probably not going to happen in this case.
Let's make it simple for april fool: Ever heard of George Soros? Ever heard of SEIU? Ever heard of Goldman Sachs? Ever heard of GE?
IF Republicans are the middle class??? IF??
Are you serious?
The reason middle class Republicans come down on the side of lower taxes, reduced regulations and smaller government is because those interfere with their ability to start and grow the small businesses that create the majority of jobs in this country.
Just in case you haven't noticed, we have an urgent need for job creation in this country.
Increased government spending, which always result in icreased taxes when the left is running the government, and increased regulation (which adds a great deal to the cost of doing business) all repress and hinder small business creation and growth.
Get a freakin' clue.

My friend gave me permission to post his blog. Check this out:
"Many just look at me and have no idea what I am talking about. It is probably because the American WWII war experience (and all the years after that) was so different than what happened to Poland.
To understand someone's plight better, it is useful to imagine "walking in their shoes". This is what I will attempt to do with a story that imagines if it was the USA, not Poland, who was attacked and occupied from two different directions in 1939, then never regains its freedoms until 1990.
Again, the following story is fictional, completely made-up--it is set in the years from 1939 to present day.

What is this, some kinduvajoke? Regurgitating the same old same old LIEberal talking points is hardly "2 sides to everything".
Second, this is largely fallacious because all it serves is to relativate everything.. like if you hate socialism it's designed to make you agree OK a little socialism isn't so bad.
Then peu a peu they add a little more socialism and then some more and sooner than you know it you're living in Sweden instead of the United States.
islam works the same technique. what they can't get by force (their preferred method) they get by wheedling, whinging and whining and finding allies like the libs within the societies that they want to take over.
When you point out the many evil things islam has done they keep talking about the REACTION to that evil, namely the Crusades.
Funny how Buddhists and Agnostics and so many others never did anything to islam even in reaction and they treated them even worse than US, simply because they could.
So take your 2-sided thing and stick it where the sun don't shine!

AS IF they're the first people on earth who wanted the creators of South Park dead.
Get in line folks.
Of course, because the creators of South Park, anarchists such as they are, are CONSERVATIVE anarchists who've consistently kissed up to the cons powers that be FROM DAY ONE to keep from being SHUT DOWN, thou must kneejerk defendest them.
How boring. As if anyone would ever waste the time to off THEM.
I love South Park by the way, despite the braindead false "conservatism" of their creators, which really, is not pro-conservatism as much as its kneejerk petty and mean anti-liberalism.
Still, it can be funny and insightful. When it's NOT trying to be political.

I don't even begrudge the creators of South Park earnestly kissing the asses of the conservative powers that be, either, FROM DAY ONE.
For without doing so they would have lasted five shows.
They know which side of the bread the money is on. Like all whores to the system.

This constant remarks you make about Goldman Sachs and the Deomocrats. How about the Republican and the Bondage club?
