Life is heavy in America these days. Unemployment, bailouts, health care "reform," trillion dollar deficits as far as the eye can see, a $13 trillion national debt, higher taxes, American vs. American in the immigration debate, Iran going nuclear, North Korea attacking South Korea, an out of control and unresponsive U.S. government.

Whew. I'm exhausted. Time to lighten it up. As a public service to my loyal readers, TV viewers, and radio listeners, I found a gem buried in my files.

Today, former presidential candidate and Major Sleazeball John Edwards will watch his mistress, Rielle Hunter, spill the beans about their affair to Oprah. All of the details will be on the air: the irresistible attraction, the hot sex, the love baby, the lies, the possible use of campaign cash to shut her up, the pushy but humiliated cancer-stricken wife. The whole sordid mess.

The other day, I found this story in my files from October 12, 2007:

A poll of women for the Ladies Home Journal found that 52 percent believed that John and Elizabeth Edwards had the happiest marriage of all of the presidential candidates.

After Comedy Central cut a portion of a South Park episode following a death threat from a radical Muslim group, Seattle cartoonist Molly Norris wanted to counter the fear. She has declared May 20th "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day."

Norris told KIRO Radio's Dave Ross that cartoonists are meant to challenge the lines of political correctness. "That's a cartoonist's job, to be non-PC."

The Tea Party, and especially the GOP, needs to organize an official boycott of the state of Hawaii.

What is the rationale? Simple. It is WRONG for a state to change its laws to be able to ignore people demanding truth from its state employees. Period. No matter what that truth is. No matter how hard and how much in legal fees (over 2 million at latest estimate) the President of the United States has spent to keep that TRUTH from being released.

IF a real long form Hawaiian birth certificate TRULY EXISTS, then the President of the United States HAS NO RIGHT TO KEEP THAT CERTIFICATE PRIVATE, IF THERE IS A DISPUTE INVOLVING HIS CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR THE PRESIDENCY.

AND BROTHER, THERE IS A DISPUTE. And it's getting legs, and bigger every day.

BOYCOTT HAWAII!

And please pass it on. I'm not in the loop with any rightwing organizations other than here.

Let the left boycott Arizona, and let the right boycott Hawaii, and see which one outlasts and out-damages the other.

I can see illegals flooding out of AZ and into more "friendly" states so we can hope that the leftists will get to enjoy the benefits of "undocumented" criminals being let loose upon them.

Something tells me that they'd rather go bankrupt like Greece than stop paying all the benefits they do now to their beloved illegals.

Illegal immigration is bad but is not the real threat to America and the economy. If the number 1 & 2 current issues on the minds of the vast majority of Americans is truly jobs and immigration then the focus needs to shift to “legal” immigration in stead of the illegal type. The real questions to the public should be “Whether the U.S. should allow the replacement of U.S. workers with foreigners imported under the several visa programs and should Government hire foreigners in stead of U.S workers?”

Based on Government figures, every year over 200,000 U.S. workers are fired and replaced by foreigners imported for the specific purpose of replacing the competent U.S. worker. In summary, Visas (H-1b, L-1, O-1 and TN) are used to replace competent U.S. workers thus harming both the American and the economy. Currently, there are 850,000 U.S. jobs being occupied by foreigners imported under the visa programs. There is no shortage of Americans to fill those jobs. The majority of imported foreigners were brought to the U.S to replace competent U.S. workers. Thus, there are at least 850,000 competnert, formerly employed, U.S. workers on welfare straining the U.S. budget and not inputting into the U.S. economy.

The U.S. Dept. of Labor statistics and studies from several Universities, establish that there has never been a year with a “shortage” of U.S. workers to fill all the jobs, especially in the computer field. Yet, Congress takes money every year from employers to allow the replacement of qualified U.S. workers with low pay foreign workers. Wall Street claims that there is a shortage of worker to fill their needs. Yet, with ever growing frequency, U.S. workers are forced to train their foreign replacements, who are unqualified to do the job. Thus far, big business has yet to explain how there could be a “shortage” when business must fire competent U.S. workers to make room for foreigners.

There is no harm to the U.S. economy to send the foreigners home especially since most do not pay taxes. Because the foreign worker is considered a “guest-worker” the employer does not take out any employment taxes. The foreigners do not pay Social Security Taxes but do use the government health net, schools, roads, and other infrastructure. Further, the foreigners do not pay for the social cost of supporting the out of work American and their families. Also, the foreigners send their savings home to their foreign country thus depriving the U.S. economy of any extra earnings from the savings.

The true scale of the harm is visible by understanding that in the past 20 years approximately 6,000,000 U.S. workers have been forced out of their careers and put on public welfare so that employers could replace them with foreigners. The U.S. taxpayer has and continues to picked up the tab to support the unemployed masses.

For the past 15 years, it is undisputed that the H-1B program has been used by most, if not all, companies to replace U.S. workers with foreign workers. Because of Congress, a company uses their competent American worker to train H-1B foreigners, then fires the American worker and reduces the pay to the H-1B foreigner. Congress has always known of this practice to replace U.S. workers and in response passed laws to make it easier to do so.

In fact, Indian Commerce Minister Kamal Nath referred to the H-1B as “the outsourcing visa” because of the ease of exporting cheap Indian labor to the U.S.

Presently, anyone with a college degree can be replaced by a foreigner. "Replacement" has happened to IT professionals but also to lawyers, accountants, risk managers, business managers, chefs, human resource managers and the list goes on. Big Business is lobbing Congress to lift the cap on H1B Visa. At the same time, certain immigration groups want expansion of H1B to everyone and President Obama is quoted as favorable to their demands. Thus, Joe the plumber or Mary the electrician or Bob the factory worker will have to compete with foreigners for their jobs. Can you imagine a world were the super rich Wall Street bosses are protected from foreign wage competition but every other U.S. workers has to compete with the low wage scale foreigners. It is happening right now for anyone with a college degree.

Thanks for the hat tip UG and DJ, but Rush and I came up with the idea at the same time.

I heard Rush compliment the "brave, courageous and strong" Governor of Arizona today after taking a call from a guy from Arizona who was THRILLED about the boycott because it will drive the LIEberals out of AZ. We need to support all Arizona businesses so we can move there after they clean it up.

UH(h), sorry for the all caps thing, I just very enraged by the crap the State of Hawaii is pulling, and it makes me think they're ENTIRELY full of s*hit when they claim they've seen Obama's actual long form birth certificate.

I hate it when people try to cover up the Truth. No matter what side is pulling it at any given time.
