gringoNOTE: As the "Deemocrats" prepare to foist their Socialist Monster on Americans,(even without the votes) can it be that Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann are not the only "men" in today's gaggle of Republicans?

VELVET REVOLUTION, USA?

Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) urged a Velvet Revolution-style uprising against the federal government.,,, Parallels are striking between America's current government and Eastern European communist rule.

King points to the successful overthrowing of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia on the streets of Prague in 1989.

gringoman

If freedom-loving Americans still think or hope that some kind of anti-Big Brother revolution, Velvet or otherwise, will not be necessary....here is some of the latest....

Chicago gangland and its union goons are going all out. If breaking arms is not enough, Dems are warned that Obama, who is still fairly popular as a pet of corporate media, will cut their funding and not campaign for them in next election etc.

Dennis Kucinich said he'd vote against the abomination. Then he got Air Force One treatment from BamBam. Kucinich just announced he'll vote yes.

Glenn Beck thinks the Obots will get their monster passed by hook or crook. Or, as I mentioned, by Chicago gangbanging.

Pat Buchanan, who is more tuned in to the Beltway than Beck, also thinks they'll get it passed.

The Dems know they'll be roadkill whether they pass The Monster or not, so they might as well become roadkill together rather than separately.

The Republicans have no way of stopping The Monster. Just standing by, awaiting their spoils in next Election, pretending to be "Tea Party" in spirit, making measly promises to "repeal" ad nauseam, is to their career benefit.

The Obots and other progs are more than willing to gamble the lives of the Democrats on expectation that Americans will tend to forget their socialist coup d'etat. Much of the socialist oppression and Total Bureaucratizing of America will not become immediately obvious. Americans will worry more about jobs etc, as the Obots continue to ply them with dole and unemployment checks, as the spider lets the fly further into its web. The corporate media (obviously in bed with Big Government, its contracts etc) cooperates with images of union=organized Happy Folk cheering for BamBam (similar to The People who used to cheer their Leaders like Castro and Hugo Chavez.) The Corporate/Bankster-Socialist state begins to follow the path laid out by Marxists and Benito Mussolini a hundred years ago.

Does anyone think the Republicans are capable of a true revolution and counter-coup against this?

Miguel de Mexico

Whole lot of gesticulatin' on the far right, eh Gringoman?
A lot of Romanticizin' too... Well, go try Rep King's People Power suggestion
or
Why not grab a leaky yacht, land at some mountain chain, grow beards, and fight a revolution.. a Bachmann/Palin Overdrive?
-but-
Nothing like that at all will happen. The Tea Party has been co-opted by the corporate wing of the Republican Party. Come November, you, DJ, and Gummah will trip over each other to vote for any Republican offered to you.
Truly it is the way American politics work; the evil of two lessers a guy at the end of the bar keeps saying. The other corporate party has painted you guys in brown shirts with Chaplin moustaches. In so doing they can offer a modicum of populism. But not you.
I'm hearing that Palin is about ready to stump for McCain over the Tea Party choice in AZ.
How so?
Why not?
The three-cornered hats will do what their told; they are beaming with pride at just being asked. They mistake the fiery rhetoric with substance. Thus they are mocked and derided behind closed doors by the RINO's who run the Party and the money behind them.

Re: Your post-reagan fantasies, Good Point. When the RINO's come back I predict they'll start pandering to tearful pride by handing out medals for this and that to fans of the Bachmann/Palin Overdrive. They'll be remarked on in the Obits and be a source of remberance among the co-opted faithful who fetish their role in the past as if they were in a movie.

"President Obama clearly is not advocating socialism and Government Take-Over."

That might be, especially if it's done by the shores of El Pacifico in Baja, closer to the narcotraficantes. What the Democrats and Republicans are saying is "The Tea Party really is no party." And this is true because the Presidential Debates are run by "The Commission". The Commission only recognizes the two party system, and so ... as goes Ralph Nader, ... so goes the Tea Party.

If the TP could change the debate rules so the League of Women Voters could again sponsor them, it would be a major step ahead.

MJ,

BLACKWATCH is reccommended for Navy Seal services, or where to locate such. In a perverse way,Mickey de Mexico might even want to be lured out of Baja and down to Playa del Carmen on El Caribe. If he can allege turquoise waterboarding, his legalista comrade, Peewee de Quebec, might have a career-enhancing chance to sue for "war crimes." This can synchronize with their previous efforts to put down the bottle of mezcal and put George Bush and Dick Cheney on trial.

Code Red Moves Cardoza and Costa to “Yes” Votes on Gov’t Healthcare Takeover After Water Deal
------------------------------------------------------

http://nrcc.org/blog/blogitem.aspx?id=261

Is this Another Backroom Deal to Force Obama’s Bill Down the American People’s Throats?

As a vote approaches on Obama and Pelosi’s government takeover of healthcare, Code Red is now considering two supposedly “undecided” California Democrats, Dennis Cardoza and Jim Costa, to now be “yes” votes.

The U.S. Department of Interior announced yesterday that it is increasing water allocations for the Central Valley of California, a region that depends on these water allocations to support local agriculture and jobs. The region has recently been starved for water and as a result unemployment has soared. Not surprisingly, Cardoza and Costa had a hand in the announcement:

“Typically, Reclamation would release the March allocation update around March 22nd, but moved up the announcement at the urging of Senators Feinstein and Boxer, and Congressmen Costa and Cardoza.”(“Interior Announces Increased Water Supply Allocations in California,” U.S. Department of Interior news release, 3/16/10)

Will Cardoza and Costa come clean about this apparent backroom deal for their votes?

I suspect that at least a few, like Michelle Bachmann and Rep. King from Iowa, understand this. Ummah,

I hear you. Mark Levin is very high on her too. Incidentally, despite those good looks and a way with a crowd, this is a very mature and intelligent woman, a true icon of American womanhood, which is why the progs hate and fear her. Hannity has her on a lot, and she was on Stave Malzburg today at WOR. She gave a very troubling indictment of Obama's Monster, and based it on her own personal experience. She's got a son in medical school, or interning already, and the word is out that with Big Government takeover, the brightest people will avoid going into medicine, as they are already half-drowning in Government-mandated paper work. Of course this will fit right in with "Equality" and bringing the US further down toward Third World standards, part of their great Equality Plan. The progs clearly have now become piranha, eating the country alive.

Later, Mark Levin revealed another of their stupid and sinister moves. The Obots are taking, I believe it was the U of Michigan to court. Why? They want more racial preferences in admissions! This from the scam artist who got the dummies to vote for him as someone who transcends race!

Here's a law I'd support: When it comes time for heart surgery, or to remove a brain tumor, every prog and Obot and media hack Obamasuckling MUST be operated on by one of their Affirmative Action surgeons, made possible by their Obamanationcare.

Think it will go through?

POWER LINE: These Are The Good Old Days. “If Obamacare passes, President Obama and the Democrats will become part of, and perhaps dominate, most of these conversations. Every excessive wait, every missed phone call, every postponed appointment will become Obama’s fault. . . . These complaints won’t be confined to the elderly. Old people complain more about their dealings with doctors primarily because they spend so much more time with them. But I’ve never met a person who likes being blown off by a doctor or sitting for 40 minutes in the waiting room, plus an extra 15 in the examining room before the doctor arrives. Nor have I ever met a person who enjoys hearing his or her aging parents complain about their medical service, especially when the complaint is justified.”

gringoNOTE: These people still don't get it. The progs, or at least their cunning advisers and legalistic tarantulas are thinking three steps ahead. Even if President ex-Soetoro (put in office by corporate banksters, foreign money and the corporate media Obamasucklings) doesn't get re-elected (and that's not a certainty)he's still made history, he has all the perks of ex-Presidents and becomes a life-long hero to the rest of the world that wants the US demeaned and degraded and increasingly f-----ed up, i.e. made like they are.

So the feckless Republicans get back in office, promising to "repeal"? Oh, sure. Even the better among them have to know that this will likely mean years and years of litigation etc. Meanwhile, the bureaucratic boa constrictor wraps itself around the national body. Tighter and tighter. As people scream, the job of the Republicans will be to medicate them with promises of "legislation" yada yada.

Conclusion: Kill Monstercare and kill it now. Or else.

Welcome to Landmark Legal Foundation

Landmark Legal Foundation to File Suit to Stop President’s Health Plan if ‘Slaughter Rule’ is Used

(LEESBURG, VA, MARCH 17, 2010)…Mark R. Levin, president of Landmark Legal Foundation, today issued a warning to the leadership of the U.S. House of Representatives about the possible use of the so-called “deem and pass,” “self-executing,” or “Slaughter Rule” to enact H.R. 3590, the legislative version of President Obama’s healthcare proposal that has been previously approved by the Senate. If this tactic is employed, Landmark will immediately sue the President, Attorney General Eric Holder and other relevant cabinet members to prevent them from instituting this unconstitutional contrivance.

“Landmark has already prepared a lawsuit that will be filed in federal court the moment the House acts. Such a brazen violation of the core functions of Congress simply cannot be ignored. Article I, Section 7 of the Constitution is clear respecting the manner in which a bill becomes law. Members are required to vote on this bill, not claim they did when they didn’t. The Speaker of the House and her lieutenants are temporary custodians of congressional authority. They are not empowered to do permanent violence to our Constitution.”

http://landmarklegal.org/DesktopDefault.aspx

gringoNOTE: But would the "Repubics" (as Mark Levin calls them) really care about a Constitutional issue---the same Repubics who pay no attention to the Constitution's rule that says a President must have parents who were both born citizens?

Marl Levin is a warrior. But look what he's up against, even on his own side.

Posted by: gringoman | March 17, 2010 at 06:10 PM

-----

Bachmann and Palin of course. The progs know very well the entire gaggle of Republican men are obedient little cowards whom are terrified of the feminists. This is why, in large part, “conservative” men behave in the cowardly fashion they do. They dare not go against the grain lest they risk being skinned alive by those in the feminist oriented MSM.

If you accept the premise: radical feminism = anti-familyism, then one can clearly see why the progs are so afraid of feminine, not feminist, women such as Palin and Bachmann. They are the antithesis of radical feminists … and proud to be so! This both terrifies and enrages the small in number, but very vocal and well funded radical feminists.

Some would argue: If what I say is true, then how come Michelle Obama isn’t criticized by the feminists? After all, she’s a mother and pro-family, right? To which I say: She gets a pass because first and foremost she belongs to the MOST protected minority group in the country (read: double standards). Secondly she’s pro abortion and supports the overall feminist agenda .. so it’s okay for her to have a traditional family.

I wonder how long Obama's hostility towards Israel can last before the carpet is pulled out from under him?

-----

*The college student in chief makes non-negotiable demands on the university president ... uh, on Israel*

Avi Davis writing at American Thinker says that the Obama administration's bizarre confrontation with Israel over a housing building permit in a Jewish neighborhood in Jerusalem has united as never before normally divided factions of Jews in Israel and the U.S.--and, moreover, united them in opposition to a Democratic U.S. president, while enhancing the political capital of liberal demon Benjamin Netanyahu. All the opposite of what Obama intended.
Similar to my point in a previous entry, Davis explains Obama's irrationally hostile conduct toward Israel as an expression of his leftist ideology, the "script" through which liberals view reality:

So what playbook is Barack Obama and his administration reading from in breathing life into a crisis that should never have been? It is, I believe, simply this: Obama sees the world in terms of a rather protean struggle between the weak and the strong, the poor and the rich. The weak in his eyes are almost always innocent purveyors of righteousness and while the powerful personify greed and oppression. The same world view permeates his domestic policies and can be read between the lines of his push for health care reform, his castigation of rich bankers, his penchant for apologizing for American actions abroad and his willingness to risk U.S security for the benefit of the human rights of enemy combatants.
