DJ, I saw that Turkey story as well. If that didn't already do it, how about the fact they're letting the Pope assassin out of jail?

And even worse, there's a harrowing account of the bestial ritual murders of three Christian Missionaries:

http://www.christiantoday.com/article/turkey.christian.missionaries.horrifically.tortured.before.killings/10523.htm

I am giving you the more realistic account rather than the more whitewashed one available from Spiegel.de online and other PC outlets.

The bestiality of islam is what they are hiding when they fail to report ALL of the facts on murders such as these.

This is the TRUE FACE OF ISLAM revealing itself!

Thanks to Greece there is now plenty of rationale to HALT any further EU expansion.

Each of the PIGS, are susceptible to Communist infiltration. Hopefully they will not go big Red.

Talk of love - realize that there is a movement afoot involving Norm Coleman(R-MN), to bring the parties together to fashion future legislation. To change Rule 22 requires 67 votes - this to avoid the dreaded filibuster (perhaps Brown wants to practice) and add some fiscal restraint to future bills. If this is what Republicans actually want - it might be possible to change the Rule to require the majority party to reach across the aisle to acquire cloture.

Let's hope they can work it out.

Palin's campaign against the "R-word" hits snag with Limbaugh
Fri Feb 5, 4:08 pm ET
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ynews/ynews_ts1114

"Sarah Palin's campaign against the derogatory usage of the word "retard" collided with her campaign to maintain her popularity with conservatives today, with confusing results.

A Palin spokeswoman seemed to back away from earlier criticism of conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh. Yesterday, when asked for comment on Limbaugh's use of the "r" word in a recent broadcast, Palin spokeswoman told Greg Sargent of the Washington Post, "Governor Palin believes crude and demeaning name-calling at the expense of others is disrespectful." Today, Stapleton claims the statement was meant generally and she was not specifically referring to Limbaugh. Still, she declined to say that Palin believes Limbaugh's statements were acceptable. Sargent reprinted the email he sent Stapleton in which he specifically asked about Limbaugh's statement.

Palin's non-rebuke rebuke of Limbaugh comes after she called on President Obama, earlier in the week, to fire his chief of staff after using the word. According to the Wall Street Journal, Rahm Emanuel called liberal activists who wanted to run ads against conservative Democrats "f------ retarded" in a closed-door meeting at the White House. On her Facebook page, Palin likened Emanuel's "slur on all God's children with cognitive and developmental disabilities" to using the "N-word," something she deemed "unacceptable" and "heartbreaking." Emanuel later issued an apology to Special Olympics chairman and CEO Tim Shriver.

However, Palin's conservative cohort Rush Limbaugh took offense to people, presumably including Palin, protesting Emanuel's remark. On his radio show, Limbaugh lamented that "our political correct society is acting like some giant insult's taken place by calling a bunch of people who are retards, retards." That comment caused Greg Sargent to request a reaction from Palin's spokeswoman. It also caused confusion over whether Palin believes Limbaugh's public statements - like Emanuel's private ones - crossed the line."

gringINTEL Finance (Open Source)

If required, Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain will receive additional funds from the ECB.

If required the failing states of the USA will be bailed out. There is no other choice.

Right now the Fed and ECB are grandstanding, hoping to force those in trouble to find their own way out which unfortunately does not exist.

All of this is the product of financial entities selling NOTHING for SOMETHING and political priorities controlling government spending.

gringoNOTE: For greater clarity, I'd do a slight redaction of the last sentence from this expert source.

"All of this is the product of smarties, such as Wall Street's, selling NOTHING for SOMETHING, and social engineers, such as Washington's, printing NOTHING for SOMETHING."

Uh, Thorn, I read the same thing. It's all part of a well-orchestrated campaign to drive a wedge between Sarah Palin and the "Limbaugh Wing" of the Conservative movement.

Unfortunately for you and the other libs I actually HEARD the entire thing that Rush did. It was clearly meant to point out the DOUBE STANDARD that libs apply to themselves and everyone else.

How sleazy of you guys to now try and turn Rush's presentation of the evidence against him, and us.

But that is what we expect from you. Limbaugh said don't be surprised if they're going to come after him for using the "r-word"

Radio is a VERBAL medium in case you didn't know. In order to inform US, his audience about this particular double standard, namely the fact that Rahmbo Dead Fish used this verbiage in AUGUST and the fact that there hadn't been a word said in the LIEBstream media about it until Sarah Palin drew attention to it.

THAT is the REAL STORY here.

You libs can't sneak you bullshit in here. One of us will always catch and repudiate your LIES.

I just posted that I don't think that the libs are confused at all. The post just disappeared in Bad Javaland so here we go again:

The "debate" over the "confusion" over the Limbaugh statements is merely intended to CONFUSE the public.

It is intended as Saul Alinskyesque turnabout to deflect guilt onto a fellow Conservative of Sarah Palin and thus not only cause the public to think badly of Conservatives, but also to drive a wedge into our movement.

Also note the nifty "private" statements vs. "public statements" remark, trying to sneak in that Rahmbo Deadfish's transgression wasn't nearly as bad as Rush's ALLEGED transgression!

All Rush did was USE DEADFISH RAHMBO's words to ILLUSTRATE the HYPOCRISY of LIEberalism with which we are constantly BOMBARDED with!

Amazing in fact that anyone in this country still has the ability to think for themselves.

Notice also the red carpet rolled out for Scott Brown all of a sudden after he got elected!!

I KNOW THEY ARE ***UP TO SOMETHING*** !!! Call it a nose that smells out LIEberal nastiness before and as it happens...

I think she's the same one who was giving an excited run-down on how the lawyuhs, the Gay Mafia and their eliteniks are getting set to defeat the people's Proposition 8 ban on same sex "marriage." They are even using Ted Olsen, who was a top lawyuh for George Bush, in addition to the other biggie lawyuh for Dems, Boies, who impresses Imus very much.

Their basic trick is to spin homosexual "marriage" as a civil rights issue, using prog professors to back up their devious claim.

Does it matter to them that society recognizes marriage as a privilege, not a right, and you can't even get a driver's license just because you want one and think you have a "right" to it, and your feelings will be hurt if you don't meet the criteria for one? No, it does not matter to them.

And are there lawyuhs from the "Republican" side who can stand up to these earnest spinmeisters? From what I heard from that woman, sounds like they are very under-manned. The posse of eliteniks have a strong chance of overthrowing the will of the people in CA.

Prediction: If they get "marriage" throughout the US, the homosexualization of US society will proceed in ways that few are even imagining yet. The lawyuhs, using every "civil rights" and "anti-discrimination" argument in the book, and then some, will see to that. The Republicans are hopeless, and the gay mafia dreams that blacks will equate it with Martin Luther King.

The tension, maybe even social upheaval, is just beginning.

Ummah,

I fear rational thought won’t get in the way of Turkey joining the EU. Even the Pope has done a flip flop on his position concerning Turkey joining the EU. Pope Benedict’s previous stance -- as recent as 2006 -- was that he was opposed to Turkey joining the EU because it would change Europe’s (formerly known as Christendom) unique character. At some point in 2006, he must’ve fell on his head . His new position is:

"As a secular democratic state that straddles the boundary between Europe and Asia, Turkey is well placed to act as a bridge between Islam and the West, and to make a significant contribution to the effort to bring peace and stability to the Middle East."

And:

“In his address to Turkey's new ambassador to the Vatican, Pope Benedict noted, In 2006, during a visit by the Pope to Turkey, the Turkish prime minister reported that Benedict supported the idea of Turkey joining the EU. Before becoming Pope, Benedict had expressed strong opposition to EU membership for Turkey.”

Now, with the Church onboard, I can’t see any insurmountable obstacle in the way of Turkey becoming a full fledged member of the EU, I’m sad to say. What’s happening in Greece will only serve to delay the process for awhile, I suspect.

“Dynamite in the Hands of Children”

President Barack Obama has increased the U.S. marketable debt to a record $7.27 trillion as he tries to sustain the recovery from last year’s recession. The Obama administration projects the U.S. budget deficit will rise to a record $1.6 trillion in the 2011 fiscal year.

“Deficits are like putting dynamite in the hands of children,” Taleb said in an interview with Bloomberg Television. “They can get out of control very quickly.”

Taleb argued in “The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable” that history is littered with rare events that can’t be predicted by trends. The best-selling book came out in 2007 before the global credit crisis sparked an economic slump and $1.7 trillion of losses at banks and financial institutions.

“The problem we have in the United States, the level of debt is still very high and being converted to government debt,” Taleb said in an interview with Bloomberg Television. “We are worse-off today than we were last year. In the United States and in Europe, you have fewer people employed and a larger amount of debt.”

“Democracies can’t handle austerity measures very well,” Taleb added. “We’re going to have a severe problem.”

WASHINGTON — Without leaving home, Sarah Palin will be able to reach much of her political base, courtesy of a soon-to-be-built television studio in her living room paid for by her newest media patron, Fox News. From her house in Wasilla, Alaska, Ms. Palin also sends missives to 1.3 million Facebook “fans,” writes newspaper columns, Tweets and signs copies of her book for donors.

Sarah Palin has a series of events this weekend.

NY TIMES/////She reads daily e-mail briefings on domestic and foreign policy from a small group of advisers who remained loyal after her tumultuous vice presidential campaign in 2008. And though she has fashioned an image as an antiestablishment conservative, she also speaks regularly to a bipartisan nobility of Washington insiders who have helped enrich her financially and position her on the national political stage.

Palin and McConnell wage proxy battle in Kentucky Senate race
By Alexander Bolton - 02/06/10 06:00 AM ET

The Senate Republican primary in Kentucky has emerged as a proxy battle between two leaders of the factionalized Republican Party, Sarah Palin and Mitch McConnell.

At stake is the direction of the Republican Party, which Republican leaders in Washington fear could turn off middle-of-the road voters if it lurches too far to the right.

Well, I never listened to talk radio before I listened to Sean and I've been listening to him since 2001 and I also never even heard of Savage before 2002 or 2003. I also voted Democrat, including for Kerry in 2004.

When trying to make political decisions, I turned to teachers at liberal institutions and received liberal points of view. Because my friends were liberals and Democrats, I was give a liberal point of view. I turned to the "fair and balanced" news for objective reporting.

Sean comforted me in September 2001 and fought for my right to fly the American flag in the United States and to sing "God Bless America" after my country was attacked.

I e-mailed Sean at around 5:00 a.m. when Imus was thrown off the air because I was scared. If a rich and powerful radio host could be thrown off the air for telling a joke, what did this mean for me, or for shows that I liked that were already under attack? Did this mean I was doomed to an even blander, p.c. world?

Sean was one of the few radio hosts who reported Bernard's story fairly. I listened to him for the full three hours and listened to the point of view of EVERY political candidate running in 2008. I learned about bills and what effect those bills would have on me. I learned about people who the liberals smear, like Jerry Falwell and learn that they aren't as bad as the LIEberals make them out to be. Instead of believing what the liberal media says about candidates like Gov. Palin, I hear another point of view.

Because of Sean, Fox and other talk radio hosts, I believe I am better informed politically than the kool-aid drinkers who voted for "hope and change".

M/M

I didn't watch Imus (for obvious reasons) when he was thrown off the air, but something didn't make sense with the way the story was reported on my favorite news network, NBC. I saw all the people who used to report the news and joke with Imus on Imus' show, stabbing him in the back. Their version of the show didn't seem to be the same as the one I listened to on occasion.

I didn't know who Bernard was when he was thrown off the air, I do remember laughing at this jokes. From listening to the news and reading the newspapers, I felt like I was a really bad person for laughing at Bernard's jokes. I was afraid to admit I listened to the show for fear of being labeled a racist.

Sean was one of the few talk show hosts to defend Bernard and treat him fairly. Imus had a lot of friends in the media who stabbed him in the back. Sean didn't even like Imus and he defended him during a time when most radio hosts were hiding under their desks for fear of being called a racist by the LIEberal smear machine.

Do you realize that Bernard tried to AUDITION for a temporary radio show in Boston and was unable to because civil rights leaders protested?

On balance Hannity is a pretty good guy, an ally in the fight against the Left. Where Hannity goes wrong -- as do most “conservatives" -- is he clings to the silly notion that we live in a color blind society. It’s time white people wake-up and advocate for their own. All other ethnic groups advocate for their own. I repeat, ALL OTHER ETHNIC GROUPS ADVOCATE FOR THEIR OWN! It’s only silly white people that bought into the “color blind society" nonsense. Also, it’s time to dispose of the concept of “white-guilt" and other psychological weapons the Left uses against whites to keep us in our place. We need to realize the old racism model is dead; it’s been replaced with a new and improved racial bigotry/discrimination which is directed at whites and WHITES ONLY. The new racism is not only socially accepted, it’s encouraged and rewarded -- and it’s a worldwide phenomenon. Furthermore, anti-white ideology is taught to children of all races. It's taking place in our tax funded education systems, from the university level right down to the first grade. In others words, whites are PAYING to be taught to hate ourselves, and for other races to hate us too. If we dare speak up against this anti-white bigotry, we’re met with the real threat of social ostracism and ruined careers. For example: Remember when Glenn Beck dared to say he thinks “Obama has a problem with white people“? Do you remember the firestorm that rained down on him for suggesting that? The Left mobilized to get him removed from the airwaves via petitioning his advertisers to withdraw their advertisements from his show. Then there’s Bill and Melinda Gates. (Admittedly, their discrimination is less egregious than most.)

I was watching Gov. Palin speak at the Nashville Tea Party yesterday. One thing that was said that we liked her because the media bashes her like they bash us.

Sure enough. I was checking a blog right after her speech and the LIEberal bloggers wasted no time in bashing her. I turned "Saturday Night Live" on to see their opening skit and they were spoofing Greta and Fox. They closed with a report from the tea party where a woman was scene with "a snoopy tea shirt and a racist sign".

Did you notice how the Left bends over backwards to avoid offending minorities by objecting to racial profiling techniques and perpetuating racial stereotypes, but has no problem describing taxpaying Americans who excerise their First Amendment rights as racists?

M/M

DJ,

As I continue to celebrate black history month, I agree that it is time to dispense with "white guilt", but I think that black people need to start examining themselves.

1) Why should I feel guilty when my family didn't own slaves? However, slavery still exists in third world countries today. Shouldn't wealthy American blacks feel guilty for not speaking out against child slavery in countries like Haiti?

2) After studying interviews with Florence Ballard and the Supremes, their is a suggestion that Motown exploited many of the black talent from Detroit. I'm not sure that is totally true in Florence Ballard's case but there is some evidence that many of the black groups that built Motown never benefited financially from the music they sang.

3) From today's NY Post
http://www.nypost.com/p/news/national/soaked_by_pols_CcsQDkxyhdcOomYdJ68giM

I think people are really getting tired of this. The reason that we have a black president is because white people voted for him. The reason why have Motown classics is because white people bought the music. The reason we have Oprah is because white women watch her. Yet, we are still made to feel guilty for something we didn't do.

When Obama criticized the Cambridge cop, I think a lot of people woke up. That's when his poll numbers started to slide.

Now, we have a disaster in Haiti. White Americans generously step up to give emergency aid and we find out about the extent of the corruption in Haiti. From that ABC news link I published, white people are not the ones selling Haitian children into slavery today.

This racism thing is starting to get old.

M/M

If you really want to learn about white guilt, you should listen to Imus interview his liberal racist black guests.

RUSH: Now, ladies and gentlemen, was it not a cable network owned by NBC, which led the charge saying I was mean-spirited, a bigot and so forth in that Michael J. Fox thing? Was it not a cable channel owned by NBC that has been trying to get Sarah Palin to denounce me for using in a satirical way the words of Harry Reid and Rahm Emanuel? "The R-word." Yes. So there is a sign posted at the NBC cafeteria "celebrating" Black History Month. They post this menu in honor of Black History Month, and a disgruntled employee took a picture of it and e-mailed it. Fried chicken.

NBC
In Honor of Black History Month
Fried Chicken
Collard greens w/
Smoked Turkey
White rice/Black Eyed Peas
Jalapeno Cornbread
16 oz Fountain Soda or
20 oz Aquafina Water

He wasn't the only employee to notice. Fried chicken in honor of Black History Month. I wonder if the servers at the NBC cafeteria in February, Black History Month, speak with a "Negro dialect." Well it's NBC, folks, and they're supposedly above the fray. Those people would never, ever engage in anything so offensive, would they? But there they are -- and it was a couple of disgruntled employees who snapped pictures with their cell phones, and the pictures were all over the net.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: By the way, I'm reminded of something. We've got the NBC cafeteria sign in honor of Black History Month: fried chicken, collard greens. It's a giant sign as you walk into the cafeteria, and I'm reminded what happened to Fuzzy Zoeller at the Masters after Tiger first won there. Fuzzy was asked what he would say to Tiger. "Well, I just hope you don't bring fried chicken to the championships dinner next year," and he lost Kmart, which is a million-dollar endorsement, he lost all kinds of endorsements, and I happen to know this from people that would not let that die. Now here's NBC, hey, we're not only talking about it, we are offering it, in honor of Black History Month: fried chicken. The only thing that's not on the menu is watermelon.

Now, Snerdley, how could I do a media tweak and turn this into my having written the sign? How could I, 'cause this is what they did with Rahm Emanuel and the R-word thing, is I started it all. So NBC and their cafeteria has got this sign in honor of Black History Month with fried chicken. Since I mentioned watermelon they'll put me in there: "Limbaugh insulted blacks on his program yesterday by saying the fried chicken dinner is not complete without watermelon." I'll tell you what, that's what I'm going to do. Next week on Monday, it's Presidents Day but we're going to be here. We're going to call a place and we're going to have chicken strips, chicken breasts, white chicken meat delivered here for the whole staff. Well, I know Snerdley doesn't eat meat, but he can at least smell it, and we will have collard greens and watermelon, we'll bring it all in here. (interruption) Well, it doesn't matter. Snerdley doesn't like it, he can't eat chicken. (laughing) He's a vegan, and he doesn't like watermelon, but the rest of the staff does. But that's not the point, Snerdley. You'll still be black enough to criticize, don't worry about that.

What I'm going to do is make a big deal, and we're going to turn this around. You watch. By Monday, since they haven't reported the NBC sign anyway, that's only because a couple employees were offended and took pictures with their cell phones and it's all over the Net, oh, this is going to be fun. Folks, don't tell anybody we're going to do this. Psst, keep it between us. Don't tell anybody. We're going to make a big deal of ordering fried chicken and watermelon for the whole staff here on Monday, in honor of Black History Month. Ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho. I know what's gonna happen, we all know what is going to happen. Hopefully Al Sharpton, the Reverend Jackson will go ballistic here. And then on our website we can put the picture of the NBC cafeteria sign.

RUSH: What's the question, Snerdley? No barbecued ribs, no barbecued ribs. Don't complicate this. You want some tofu? We'll get some fried tofu, but you don't eat barbecued ribs anyway. Now, I'm going to show the picture on the Dittocam. Let me zoom in tight here. This is the cell phone picture that went out, it was taken by the member of the band of Jimmy Fallon's show. This is the commissary at 30 Rock. NBC, in honor of Black History Month: fried chicken, collard greens with smoked turkey, white rice, black-eyed peas, jalapeno cornbread. You see it. I want to provide video of this so it can be spread even further, all the way across the World Wide Web. And of course it helps that our camera here is HD, which will not obscure the quality of the whole thing. So that's the picture. That's at 30 Rock. And again, the employee, NBC employee was Questlove. So far one million people on Twitter have seen it. Questlove is the band leader and drummer for The Roots, which is the house band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

“As I continue to celebrate black history month, I agree that it is time to dispense with "white guilt", but I think that black people need to start examining themselves.

1) Why should I feel guilty when my family didn't own slaves? However, slavery still exists in third world countries today. Shouldn't wealthy American blacks feel guilty for not speaking out against child slavery in countries like Haiti?”

-----

M/M,

I agree, black people DO need to start examining themselves, in fact many, but not nearly enough, ARE doing that very thing.

The reason you don’t hear blacks speaking out against the slavery that exists in black countries is because it’s black on black. If whites were involved, the screaming would be deafening..

But that said, the main source of anti-white bigotry ironically comes from whites themselves. I reserve my animus for WHITE multicultists and cultural-Marxists. They are the scum who are behind the all-out-assault on whites. It was whites who invented “white-guilt.” The social engineers who concocted the concept of “white skin privilege” were/are white. It was whites who expanded Affirmative Action to include every group except white-males. (Originally AA was meant as a program for decedents of slaves only -- I have no problem with that.) It was whites who drafted and pushed the Immigration Act of 1965; the result of that hideous Act is whites are going to be a minority in America in a few short years. But don’t expect whites to receive any special protection under the law; NO, they’ve already come up with a term to describe the forthcoming white minority. We will be referred to as a “privileged minority,” thus the discrimination and hostility against whites will continue until we no longer exist (that‘s their ultimate goal)…unless we wake-up SOON and annihilate those on the Left.

If you really want to learn about white guilt, you should listen to Imus interview his liberal racist black guests.

DJ, re Bill Gates: Mr. selfmade is from a very sheltered Boston background and the removedness-from-reality shows.

I am a lifelong Mac user so he never made a dime off of me.

I am also glad to report that due to his sh*tty products there is now a thriving Hackintosh community out there, using the Mac OS on Intel machines.

The first time Gates introduced Windows it wasn't even a working copy. He had someone work a VCR to correspond to what he was doing with his pointer.

I forgot the name of the book. He also got sued by Apple for copying their files and folder concept, but the judge ruled that Apple had stolen the concept from Xerox' Docutech line.

Al of the code they write at Mi¢ro$oft is worthless and full of bugs anyway. All the programs they produce are a reflection of the mental state of Big Brother Bill, as we used to call him.

When their OS/2 was being developed in foreign languages the graphic work was ALL DONE ON MACINTOSH computers.

The guy's been a MONUMENTAL FRAUD right from the start. Fits right into the LIEberal landscape.

I heard that Limbaugh show where he talked about he "racist" menu at the NBC cafeteria. He had me cracking up too!

Of all places I found an actual photo at Huffblo:

Of course they are making every effort to "explain it away". The black chef did it!

Hey, EARTH TO NBC: YOUR CHICKENS [and collard greens].. HAVE COME TO ROOST!!!

It's true. I used to think Mark Levin and Sean Hannity were over the top when they complained about LIEberals, but after listening to Imus' kool-aid drinking guests, I'm saying it.

Bernard is hot, but listening to Imus' liberal racists guests is torture. They make me scream (and not in a good way). There is only so much I can take of it.

Here is the restaurant in Harlem that Sharkton likes to take everyone. Look what they serve:

Tony Powell (who is black) said on Imus that this the NBC menu is soul food.

That's what I was thinking too. Remember when they found 2 suspicious guys at a water tower in CT?

DJ

I don't understand the big to-do over the so-called "racist" menu. Heck, soul food is at the top of my-favorite-cuisines list. I don't see anything racist about acknowledging the fact that fried chicken, collard greens, and black eyed peas are some of the blacks' favorite dishes -- especially because it's true. Soul food is something blacks should be proud of (most are). It's an important part of their rich culture; something to be celebrated, not be embarrassed or offended by.

This is why I absolutly dispise the Left.

DJ, the point wasn't that putting soul food on the menu is racist. The point is that this constant badgering of people with "racism" and the concomitant egging on for blacks and everyone else to find it in the most absurd of contexts is part and parcel of what NBC does!

So now their chicken and collard greens have come to roost in form of "offended" blacks who took pictures of the menu and posted them online!
