If you ask AL Gore, Santa died this summer when he fell through the melted ice, but that's not me nor you.

Although we like to say good things about our US servicemen, there is a problem with soldiers returning from the Middle East, when they have no jobs. This, of course, demoralizes the espri de corp, weakening American resolve, and ultimately, leaving the homeland vulnerable to foreign attacks.

As I am late with my Christmas cards and presents this year, so too Congress is late with its full Christmas present of a public option.

But I am praying they, like me, will deliver against all odds.

May the entire rest of your entire lifetime be peaceful and joyful, Warrior Princess.

And beyond.

DJ,

That was fine---in fact, so fine, I am moved to express the following....

"Yes, Monica, there is a Republican Party."

Merry Christmas to all!

Merry Christmas to all.

Notwithstanding her liberal nuttiness , Sinéad O'Connor's 'Silent Night' is my favorite rendition.

Enjoy:

Kingofthenet

Bow your heads and let us pray " Dear lord baby jeezus, help us as we fight to keep poor people from taking our spot at the doctors office, give us the strength to discriminate against others based on their life style choices that in no way impact our lives, and let your all encompassing love consume the sinners of our country and let it smother them until they are dead. It's not easy being a loving, compassionate christian so I ask you to give me the strength to beat the snot out of anyone that tries to tell me different. in jeezys name we pray, amen."

BACH AROUND THE CLOCK

(Bachfest direct from Monica's alma mater)

By V.A. MUSETTO

Ready to Bach around the clock.

As it has done for some 25 years, WKCR (89.9 FM), the Columbia University student station, will once again celebrate Christmas with a round-the-clock marathon of music by Johann Sebastian Bach.

This year's BachFest kicks off at 9:30 a.m. Dec 21 and runs through 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve. http://www.nypost.com/p/entertainment/music/put_johann_in_the_air_lrMiz6iNlhBZRQ9nBUWV8I#ixzz0aLlSMuiP

gringoNOTE: These are selections and commentaries from the more than 1000 compositions of J.S. Bach, the "Father of Western Music." (There is no harmony in any pop record or 'Top Ten', whether Sinatra. Beatles or Michael Jackson that was not anticipated by Bach centuries ago in provincial Germany.) Some of these selections will be hard going for the non-music student or non-professional. But other selections will communicate even to those who can't tell a contrapuntal choral prelude in the "Christmas Oratorio" from a wiener schnitzel. Depends on when you tune in.

Thanks Gringoman! I'll check it out.
