Re Fort Hood Shootings....

FBI says terrorism not suspected.

gringoNOTE: The above statement demonstrates how today's US Government gang-rapes the language, and both the Left and the Right are involved.

Here's how they both can be wrong.

The Right, before the evidence is in, will suspect jihadis, It will ask why the FBI is trying to muffle discussion of this possibility.

We don't know yet if the FBI is just following pc orders, or whether it has solid grounds. The FBI does apparently have one of the shooters in custody. Enough evidence?

Let's assume the one in custody is not a jihadi. Does that warrant the FBI saying "terrorism" is not an issue here?

My reply: No, it does not. Why? Shooters (at least two) killing 7 persons and wounding 12 others, is obviously an act of "terror." That's plain English.

What the FBI would have meant to say was, "This is NOT Islamic terrorism."

But they are not allowed to speak plain English, due to the dictates of liberal pc.

Ergo, when they say that this obvious terrorism "is not terrorism," that's supposed to be taken as code for "not Islamic."

George Orwell would understand.

According to report from Curtis Sliwa, the gunman Major Hasan is not dead. Every other report I got indicates he was killed.

I have no confirmation, and will doubt the report until getting a confirm. Possibly I misheard, or Curtis misheard.

ps From the foto in UK Daily Mail, Major Hasan looks Middle Eastern or Turkish, ethnically. The report said he has a cousin who is named Hasan too.

ps. Curtis is now repeating. Hasan is indeed alive. The intial reports had it wrong, according to what Curtis is reporting. Repeat: The killer is alive.

AN OLD MARINE h/t D. Schlussel//////While a Marine on deployment in the mid 80’s off the coast of Lebanon, we were about to deploy by helicopters to the American embassy because of rioting. A muslim Marine commented during the briefing that “he wasn’t sure he could fire on his muslim brothers”.

When we went to the hanger deck to prepare and pass out ammo, we skipped him. He asked “what about my ammo?”, we answered “if your not going to shoot at them then you don’t need any”. We then congratulated him and told him his Mom will be very proud when she gets his posthumous awarded purple heart for his actions.

We got on the birds, took off then got the stand down order back to the ship. We never let him near live ammo again and he was sent away when we returned to the states.

Learned long ago as a Marine, never, ever trust them. They will smile at you every morning, even the morning when they pull a gun or a bomb out to kill you. Look at the servicemen that are being shot and killed by our so called muslim allies in Afghanistan. Always be prepared to put one done like a rabid dog. But unlike the end of “Old Yeller” there is no reason to cry.

Any officer taking action against a "minority" can risk being cited for "discrimination" or "racial profiling" or "bigotry" or whatever the ACLU et al smarties can use. Such a citation can be career impeding, if not career ending. Ask the FBI guys who did not act on the information they had in 2000 about Arabs learning how to fly airplanes (but not land them) in Florida flight school.

2. Wait till we have a few more facts. What I've read so far pisses me off. If Dr. Psycho was under investigation over six months ago for alleged internet postings sympathetic to suicide bombers, why wasn't he relieved of his duties as a combat-stress doctor? And why was he about to be posted to Iraq, and in what capacity?

3. Was he harassed? Harassment is no excuse for mass murder, plus in this particular case I'm guessing that may have provoked some of that harassment.

4. Here's a Newsmax article that lays out some relevant statistics and concerns regarding fifth column infiltration in the military. It's a couple of years old and perhaps you have more current data.

5. According to the Newsmax article, only 25% of U.S. Muslims are Arabic, but I'm betting most Americans don't realize that. Almost 30% are Black, and of that percentage, only a very small minority are members of Farrakhan's Nation of Islam (but coverage of the extremists always sells more papers) I'd like to think that only a small minority of Muslim immigrants (and their descendants) are fanatics or otherwise pose any threat. It's always a challenge for any democracy to protect the rights or minorities, while at the same time protecting itself against fifth-columnists.
