Lying. Manipulating. Destroying damning evidence. Smearing critics. Silencing those who dare to tell the truth.

This time I'm not talking about the Obama White House.

This time, it's all about the "manmade climate change" thugs.

Over the past three weeks, we have been treated to thousands of emails between top "scientists" on global warming. The emails were hacked by a concerned citizen and posted for the world to see. They are correspondences that suggest that the leading voices on "manmade climate change" are nothing but two-bit lying, cheating thugs on a left-wing crusade to redistribute wealth from the First World to the Third World. Climate change was just something they made up to accomplish it. And much to their own surprise, otherwise intelligent people fell for it, hook, line, and sinker.

If you bought into the global warming myth, are you a sucker? Not necessarily. The crusaders sold it on the basis of science, which we now know was probably falsified and doctored in order to fit their political agenda. No one could be faulted for believing scientific evidence at the time. But we know now that that "evidence" is a sham.

If you still believe in the global warming myth after the scam has just been busted wide open, then yes, now you are a sucker.

Al Gore and his minions have built an entire secular religion around global warming. Now we know that it isn't the earth that's on fire, but the Church of Gore.

And Gore is now nothing more than a slicker Jim Bakker.

Thanksgiving 2009

As Americans, today we count our many blessings. We give thanks for our families and friends, our faith, our health, our health care system (!), our Constitution and the many freedoms it guarantees, our great and good country, and the United States military, our bulwark against tyranny, oppression, and terror.

We are going through tough times, but we are truly blessed in this great land. There is no other nation like it on earth. Never has been, never will be. God blessed America from the beginning. And He blesses us still.

Happy Thanksgiving.

President in the Bubble

Barack Obama was just photographed leaving the White House carrying a copy of GQ magazine. Not unusual for a stylin', hip guy like the Bama. What IS unusual is that the cover photo...is of him.

I'm glad he admires himself, because fewer and fewer Americans do.

Ever increasingly, the Bama lives in a bubble. Most presidents fight the bubble: the insularity of the White House, the tight inner circle, the movement restrictions. Most presidents want to bust out, meet and talk to average Americans, hear their concerns. Most presidents hate the bubble. They rebel against it, until they grow so exhausted from the fight that they just kind of give up and end up making peace with the bubble.

The Bama seems to revel in the bubble. The White House is his own kingdom. This is where he hosts everything from "Latino music night" to "poetry jams" to his beloved "summits" (on jobs, Afghanistan, and---you've got to appreciate the irony of this one---deficits. A summit on how to cut deficits! LOL! I'll save them the bother. Here's how you cut the deficit: stop spending like drunken sailors on leave in Times Square! Actually, that's an insult to drunken sailors on leave in Times Square.)

The Bama seems oblivious to the sky-high unemployment rate, the record rate of home foreclosures and loan and credit card defaults, the tax revolt already underway, the public rejection of all of his key initiatives from the stimulus to health care to cap and trade, and the public's demand for decisive action...on ANYTHING.

He's oblivious because he's in the bubble. He's happy in the bubble. But the lesson of the bubble is that the bubble smothers presidencies. The bubble makes an already out-of-touch president even more remote. Making oneself at home in the bubble makes governing actively and effectively impossible.

On second thought, that may not be so bad, given what we've seen from this guy so far. Sir: stay in the bubble.

What, Me Worry? Part III

Even MORE Debbie Downer news today for the President:

Rasmussen Reports shows him with a record low job approval of 45%. He's sinking like a stone.

His beloved global warming theory is collapsing as a new scandal is enveloping the Church of Gore. Hacked emails allegedly show falsified data, the suppression of data, and flat-out lies to support man-made global warming. Does it exist? Looks less and less likely. It's being called the "greatest scandal in modern science." So much for cap and trade.

"Renegade Joe" Lieberman is digging in his heels in opposing Obama/PelosiCare.

And then there's this from the Associated Press:

"The economy grew at a 2.8 percent pace last quarter, as the recovery got off to a slower start than first thought.

"The Commerce Department's new reading on gross domestic product wasn't as energetic as the 3.5 percent growth rate for the July-September period estimated just a month ago.

"The main factors behind the downgrade: consumers didn't spend as much, commercial construction was weaker and the nation's trade deficit was more of a drag on growth. Businesses also trimmed more of their stockpiles, another restraining factor."

Party on, Wayne. Party on, Garth.

Party on, Bama.

What, Me Worry? Part Deux

Today brings more grim news for the President:

Actual unemployment---when you factor in those who have stopped looking for work, whose unemployment benefits have run out, and who are working part-time only because they can't find full-time work---is closing in on 18%.

Just 38% of Americans support the radical overhaul of health care pushed by The Bama and his fellow travelers, according to a new Rasmussen poll. This is a record low.

Four more U.S. servicemen were killed in Afghanistan.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed announced that he intends to do exactly what we predicted he'd do: use his civilian trial as a jihadist propaganda platform against the United States.

The decline of the dollar rolls on.

The Europeans are sniping at him. The Chinese are lecturing him. The Brazilians are defying him by working closely with Iran. And the Iranians and Russians are rolling him on nukes.

And it's only Monday.

Where is The Bama? Off making sure Steven Spielberg's place card is ready for tomorrow night's State Dinner.

What, Me Worry?

Gallup has the President's job approval at a record low for his term: 48%. His disapproval is at a record high: 44%. Rasmussen Reports has him faring even worse, with 48% approval and a stunning 52% disapproval.

His job is on the line: people are forming an opinion of him now as a weak, indecisive, and disinterested leader. Once entrenched, that perception will be very hard, if not impossible, to shake---and may cost him the presidency.

Instead of trying to turn these numbers around with decisive action---on unemployment, the economy, Afghanistan, Iran, North Korea, the Middle East, etc---he's channeling Alfred E. Newman: "What, me worry?"

"As the U.S. Senate is busy debating whether or not to open debate on the Democrats' health care reform legislation, President Barack Obama doesn't appear to be all that worried: POTUS is at Andrews Air Force Base Saturday for a golf game."

To quote Sting: "Sending out an SOS....sending out an SOS."
