BUYER'S REMORSE

(Gore Vidal, celebrated author and icon of the Liberal (sic) Intelligentsia)

Last year he[VIDAL] famously switched allegiance from Hillary Clinton to Barack Obama during the Democratic nomination process for president. Now, he reveals, he regrets his change of heart. How’s Obama doing? “Dreadfully. I was hopeful. He was the most intelligent person we’ve had in that position for a long time. But he’s inexperienced. He has a total inability to understand military matters. He’s acting as if Afghanistan is the magic talisman: solve that and you solve terrorism.”

Dr. R.

A catastrophe on the relative scale of Katrina has taken place in American Samoa. Hundreds are presumed dead, thousands displaced and homeless, and whole communities have been destroyed. Where's our President? AWOL. He's off hob-nobbing with celebrities and enjoying the finest European cuisine, while these Americans are suffering.

Why isn't this President at the helm directing relief efforts for our people? The media has burried this horrific story and the lack of Obama's due dilligence.

DJ

"Perhaps it's finally dawning on Mr. Obama that the presidency is difficult and that Mr. Bush did the best he could, given the range of choices."

--

I think it's finally dawning on people that there is no there there when it comes to Obama's leadership abilities. It's all symbolism and no substance with this guy. He is just a mouthpiece for those behind the scenes whom are making the crucial decisions. Obama left on his own can't even deliver a speech without a teleprompter to guide him, and people acually expect him to understand the ramifications of his silly approaches to complex geopolitical issues? It would be comical if the stakes weren't so serious and deadly. The inexperianced gangling black kid from Chicago needs to return to the hood. The presidency is no place for an anti-American community organizer with a chip on his shoulder -- especially in these perilous times.

xbjllb

The CIA is running Obama and the country via committee.

As far as Afghanistan, SINCE the CIA is running the country, America will be warring there FOREVER, or until poppies that make heroin and cocaine no longer grow there. Or until a President who sits in the Oval Office will do the People's will.

Proof? When the US through the CIA creation Osama bin Laden and his rebels forced the Soviet Union out of Afghanistan, the religious Taliban took control, the poppy fields were burned, and because of their religious piety the heroin market worldwide dried up virtually overnight for more than a decade. The CIA, who gets only a tiny amount of its overall funding from the US taxpayers via Congress was not happy about this. Ergo the CIA's lust for 9-11 and an excuse to take over Afghanistan and restore and keep the poppy crop going.

Since we returned to Afghanistan and embarked on Afghaninam, the poppy fields have been raging. Heroin and cocaine production (CIA ships poppies directly to Columbia) is up thousands of percent. Don't take my word for it, do the research.

So Obama IS merely the druglord whore bureaucrat put into candidacy by the biggest drug dealing cartel in the world, the CIA, NOT to end Afghanistan/Mideast occupation as the American People overwhelmingly demanded, but to turn it into Afghaninam and endless war. Chicago mobster? A thousand times worse.

As Obama said it himself before the election, many times as stupid desperate people and pundits with erections and "tingling legs" and hysterical teenage crushes completely ignored:

"I'm not opposed to war. I'm opposed to DUMB wars."

Until the CIA quits dealing drugs and finds clandestine funding elsewhere it will never clean up its act.

Hint: Try exploiting some of the, uh, unusual power sources the military has. Technology to better US standing instead of helping the dregs suicide themselves faster while stealing from the rest of society for the privilege.

Strange, Prince Blowdry did not insert the word 'stunning' in his bolster of coup-dreamer, John L Perry (What prizes did Perry win? It's all very nebulous).
Some people would drop their drawers in an instant if a Pinochet-like father would come into their lives. But the article and its response is a sign of impotance as well as un-patriotic sentiment. For these fools, along with their pandered, are increasingly marginalised by their country and a world which has passed them by...
But it seems as if Blowdry is waiting for a strongman to thrust himself into the body politic and satiate the unwashed by relieving them of the burden imposed by critical thinking.

Why else the boost?

Perry evokes a phycho-sexual response which equates restoring order to assigning everyone to their proper racial role. In this fashion lower middle-class white men can atone for thier own personal failure resulting from not cashing in on their white privilege and which is based on a deep-rooted assertion that size really matters.

Only a uniformed general can fix that. Strike that. Only an uniformed general who also happens to be(as they mostly do) white.

Funny, how tight-lipped these pompous neocom "anti-junta" examples of izquierdista "intelligentsia" and their politics of homo-erotomania. Why do they never tell us of the feelings that a Commandante Fidel has stirred all up and down their...whatever (well, certainly during his pre-wheelchair period.) Must Freud tell us? Is Freud allowed in their Castrolandia?

But who knows? Perhaps even now the octogenarian, El Maximo, the favorite Strongman of these "anti-despots," still manages to excite them with "That Old Feeling," as the Yankee ballad puts it?

How sad, the Liberal Racist, low-class enough to claim elite status and then brag about it, like a bar fly of the psyche, and still "can't get no satisfaction," driven to cyberstalking, like he is saying "I got me this and that, hee-hee, and you don't, ha-ha!" Talking elite, in the accent of a jerk.

And we thought that an eroto-prog would consider that such a Main Man, like Fidelito de Cuba, is "white".

But no. That would make Castro just another "white" sex object for prog men. How bourgeois and un-pc. How like the "fascists" who the race-obsessed neocoms will keep boring us about.

So maybe there's a method, after all, to a prog's liberal racist madness

This is Nike's position against the US Chamber of Commerce, which as an organization, has become skeptical of Global Warming. Why?

Because NIKE has outsourced all its labor to China, and needs oil for its products, and their transport. Now you know the main reason for global warming (surprise!).

How about this idea, UG:

The government should pass a law declaring everybody is white. That way there would be no need for affirmative action since everyone is white. Standardized tests could once again weed out the low scoring whites from the high scoring without the threat of lawsuits. There'd be no more set asides and special privileges for "people of color" because everybody is now white. No more need for bogus Black Studies Departments. All would suddenly become the beneficiaries of "white-skin-privilege" etc, etc....

Of course I was being sarcastic in my post @4:12. I was mocking the convoluted logic liberals use.

"Twenty-five percent of young black men are in jail, on parole, or on probation. Blacks account for 50 percent of the nation's prisoners. Gang-bangers are almost inevitably black or Latino. Hurts the image, you know. Don't think the young white woman in that elevator is oblivious. Don't think that a white woman living in the city hasn't seen, experienced, or had friends who experienced crime at the hands of black thugs...If Jesse Jackson himself says he's relieved when the late-night footsteps on the street behind him belong to white rather than black feet, all bets are off." --

It seems as if my theory that coup-wishers represent a psycho-sexual response to authority stemming from perceptions of sexual inadaquency resulting from a lack of personal acheivement has struck Gringo's hot button.
I'll offer his response as both giving creedence to my theory and as evidence of Gringoman not respecting the outcome of the last US election.

The confluence of low income coupled with a lack of erudition among lower middle-class white men breeds a race based frustration and accounts for much of the xenophobia which has resulted in wars of domination and racist exploitation.
Unable to construct a logical response to frustration which can be expressed through public policy or law, these ignoranti lash out emotionally in an incohate fashion which only serves to excerbate their own tension. Thus only a strongman can champion their cause by CREATING ORDER and relieving them the personal responsibility of manhood; that being taking an active role in shaping their own world.
Until that time they'll blame their small manhoods on the other: Race, gender, nationality, and religon provide the excuse in order for them to cope with a self-perceived lack of endowment.
The rise of despots from the Right are always triggered by the frustration of men who have lost their self respect because they think they have lost their power in society; and is always psycho-sexual in nature as their sexual prowess rests on their perception of social power.
For the less eduacated here that means the people dreaming of a military coup in the USA to overturn the Obama regime are, in all senses of the word, wimps.

Ummahgummah

.

What does your "sexual prowess" rest on, PW? Enquiring minds and all...

.

Dgscol

At some point the military command will have to decide on who is in charge and whether or not they will follow a government that had abandoned its principles and it Constitution. No doubt, the military is the last bastion of liberty that there is. Should soldiers die for the "world order" ? They have always served their "country".
Now they might be dying for some misplaced idea of the corrupt.

I always thought Obama sent the military into the field, to keep them from coming back to the US.

"I came to the Alba and was able."

DJ's raised ire lends credibility to the theory.

(Note however that DJ omits the the source of the frustration: Under acheiving lower middle-class white-males who blame their own inadaquacies on "the other" and then look for a strongman, a father figure,
who will vicariously restore their manhood by returning them to an unearned paramount position within the social structure; thereby restoring the lost sexual prowess of their youth. The underacheivement comes from a false sense of entitlement which induces intellectual laziness. Usually this sense of entitlement is race based yet could also be based on other factors; but at any rate results in under-acheivment and resentment. Instead of engaging the world these wimps retreat from reality.)

Truther rushes to judgement. Moore directed a new film entitled: Capitalism: A Love Affair. A critique means one should divest one's holdings?
As the film focuses on the bailout of Wall St to the tune of a Billion, I would imagine that there were even some critiques voiced here on this blog.
Moore, like many, places his money in asset management; meaning his portfolio is managed. Like most (especially artistes) the bottom line negates attention to detail.
But here WNN gets it wrong.
The report says that a charitable foundation started by Moore has holdings in Haliburton. Pretty friggn' attenuated and bizarre since the asset represented by the Haliburton stock is probably the only security asset to survive the crash.
Bottom line, Moore doesn't manage his own investments and doesn't have a clue where the foundation he began decides to put their money.
Truther may note that many 501(c)3's lost a lot as a result of last years crash.
But yeah, he's got a new film designed to tweak its nose at the capital markets and stands to make a pile of money, none of which will be kept under his bed.

Seems as if the propagandists at WNN will stop at nothing!
Thanks for posting that.

GOING ROGUE

Sarah Palin, a Soon-to-Be Publishing Phenom

Ms. Vincent didn't reveal any details about the book, but did acknowledge it will describe Ms. Palin's frustration over her treatment by the staffers she inherited from the McCain campaign after her surprise pick as the GOP vice presidential nominee last year. Ms. Palin was booked on grueling interviews with hostile reporters while talk-show hosts such as Glenn Beck couldn't even get through to her aides. Mr. Beck tells me he was stunned when he picked up the phone one day just before the election to discover Sarah Palin was on the other end of the line. "She explained that she had been blocked from reaching her audience, so she was now 'going rogue' and booking her own interviews," Mr. Beck told me. "I was thrilled she had burst out of the cage they'd built for her and we were finally talking."

Hmmm, PW has failed miserably as a Shyster Lawyer, now he's pretending to be a psychobabbling psychologist. Interesting case this Wedeen.

Yes, most curious indeed. And he's fulfilling the race-baiting promise of GW, his shyster predecessor who Ummah exposed.

PW, could you please explain why you deliberately manipulated and knowingly falsified my post by editing "Hail Gringobro" down to just "Hail Gringo"?

No problemo, DJ. I copied and re-posted your entire post including the sentences well below your tutonic-reminescent Gringogreeting. Then I over erased the sentences, the spacing dots and even the Gringobro... right back to the word 'Hail'. As the original was no longer in front of me, I opted to write "Gringo" without checking the original.
But you have corrected the record. Let the record reflect that DJ hailed 'gringobro' and not 'gringo'
Doesn't alter my sentiment, nor my reply.
Thanks.

Gringoman,

Do you believe his explanation? I don't. PeeWee on this blog has amassed a long rap sheet of deceit, half truths, and out-right lies. His credibility is on the level of Al Sharpton.
