The Bama looks more and more unhinged these days. Maybe it's the August heat, or maybe it's the humidity. Or maybe it's the fact that his signature issue of health care has hit the skids, along with the rest of his domestic agenda and his poll numbers.
The cool cat who ran for President has turned into a guy so disconnected from what's happening around him that he makes Angelina Jolie's character in "Girl, Interrupted" look sane.
This week, he tried to dismiss the growing collapse of his health care plan by blaming everyone else and their mama for it. He even threw Sarah Palin under the bus by invoking the excitement she sparked when John McCain named her to the GOP ticket:
"The media was obsessed with it, cable was 24 hours a day," he said. "'Obama's lost his mojo,' you remember all that?"
And then came the line that might qualify him as certifiable:
"There's something about August going into September where everybody gets all wee weed up!"
"Wee weed up." The American president, ladies and germs.
Imagine, if you will, President Bush uttering "wee weed up."
Maxine Waters would already be trying to impeach him for pure asininity.
Or imagine that toddler saying come out of Sarah Palin. Keith Olbermann would be bouncing off the walls with gleeful hysteria.
The Bama is melting down because is agenda is in flames and he doesn't know how to lead himself and his administration out of it. This is what we get when we elect to the presidency a neophyte who has never run a thing before. Not a state. Not a business. Not the PTA. Not a lemonade stand. This is now a problem, because he's in a job in which the only responsibility is to run things. Big, important things.
He can blame Republicans or the media (which is rich!) or the insurance companies or the doctors or the American people for his failures. But the only person truly worthy of blame is the Chicago community organizer looking back at him in the mirror.
It's partly a weather problem. Noel Coward knew what a high summer sun could do to mad dogs and not just Englishmen. And that's even without the heat generated by the political guns of August.
Things have gotten unusually hot for Professor Cool. Now that his flagship Obamacare, and the national reaction to it, has got him "wee-weeing" in public, we really have to wonder. What kind of a deck is the former Barry Soetoro playing with?
Obamacare is highly reccommended by the Obots, but not for members of Congress . They get Congresscare.
Is Obama playing with a full deck? Or is he playing with two decks--one for him and Congress, and one for everybody else?

Obama doesn’t even get his facts straight when he doesn’t have a teleprompter to assist him. At one of his Town Hall meetings he stated that it costs $30 K to $50 K for a foot amputation caused by diabetes. The AMA corrected him saying it is actually less than $900.
Obama must be distracted thinking about the $1.4 million in legal fees (and growing) that he has spent to suppress the release by the State of Hawaii of his certified original birth certificate! If he has an extra $1.4 million sitting around, why doesn’t he contribute it to a worthwhile charity and authorize the State of Hawaii to release his certified original birth certificate? I wonder what he is trying to hide? The Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) that he posted on the Internet during his presidential campaign is a meaningless document. Up until 1972, the State of Hawaii issued COLB for someone based upon only the signed Affidavit of another person. Could it be that Obama’s maternal grandmother wanted her grandson to be considered an American citizen to simplify his entry into Hawaii from Kenya?
No wonder many people at Town Hall Meetings have shouted “I want my country back!"

A young Glenn Beck wannabe on the eastbound M72 bus [#9498...Plate # L-11046] tried to LORD it over me because i was carrying my BIOHAZARD container with the warning label on it identifying it as such...in compliance with OSHA rules AND New York STATE rules on how to transport biohazardous materials on public transportation.

His statement the other day about FEDEX/UPS v. Post Office revealed to me his complete and utter lack of understanding of economics. He knows nothing about economics except welfare and redistribution of income. He thinks the Post Office is a success and they are responsible for the success of FEDEX and UPS. The Post Office controls its slice of the market completely because it has the Federal government to support it, but it does it extremely inefficiently and would have gone bankrupt decades ago except for the American taxpayer. FEDEX and UPS were able to find a slice of the market that the Post Office was completely inept at providing but they cannot compete against those areas where the Post Office gets Federal backing.
If you compare this with the health care industry, private insurers cannot compete against a government plan that has taxpayer support. But the idea that the government health care plan will be more efficient and reduce cost shows a pathetic lack of understanding of anything related to market economics. The Post Office is the most pathetic, unproductive, nightmare ever run by the government. If he is going to use the Post Office and FEDEX as the model for a government run health plan, we are in deep trouble.

I want to express my sincere appreciation for printing "As Hippies Partied," (Richard K. Kolb, PostOpinion, Aug. 17).
I served in Vietnam when I was 18 years old. I rarely speak about my service because of the lack of recognition and thanks when we returned and the hostilities we encountered from family members, friends and neighbors.
I had red paint thrown on me when I was in my uniform coming home from Vietnam by a group of folks who kept calling me a "baby killer" and "rapist" -- a reception I never expected or forgot.

I choked up when one of our the Vietnam Vets who attended our local tea party talked about how he was always ashamed to tell people he was a Vietnam Vet. It felt good to hear that he finally found a group of people who will give him the respect he deserves.

In REAL HISTORY the Post Office is so successful that THEY pay out their own pensions! So Glenn Beck committed the unpardonable sin by calling the "Long Legged Mack Daddy" (BO) a “racist” with a “deep-seated hatred for white people,” now 33 of his cowardly advertisers pulled their commercials from his show.
What a bizzaro inverted world we live in. The protest started when Donny Deutsch complained and demanded the advertisers should pull their ads from Beck's show. Then the all usual race hustling charlatans jumped on board including some group called ColorofChange.org.
