Here's another couple of quotes from the Founding Fathers, while we're at it:

George Washington's farewell address is often cited as laying the foundation for a tradition of American isolationism:

"The great rule of conduct for us, in regard to domestic nations, is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible. Europe has a set of primary interests, which to us have none, or a very remote relation. Hence she must be engaged in frequent controversies the causes of which are essentially foreign to our concerns. Hence, therefore, it must be unwise in us to implicate ourselves, by artificial ties, in the ordinary vicissitudes of her politics, or the ordinary combinations and collisions of her friendships or enmities.

Thomas Jefferson extended Washington's ideas in his March 4, 1801 inaugural address:

"peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none."

Jefferson AND Geroge Washington are trying to flag our attention. Are our eyes AND our ears open?

Get the hell out of the Mideast. YESTERDAY. FOREVER.

And take all of Israel smart enough to go with us.

IN THE SPIRIT OF JEFFERSONIAN TRANSPARENCY.....

Lou Dobbs has been trying to get our attention on Obama (our new BIG NANNY pretending to take care of you all) and Obama's increasingly questionable status as de facto POTUS.....Lou even has on air the fabulous Attorney ORLY TAITZ, mocked by the Obots, as she knows them too well, being an emigre from the ex-Soviet Union. A true warrior woman, endorsed by gV.

RESISTNET///////Today, in New York City, WOR-AM (770), CNN’s Lou Dobbs hosted a 2-hour program discussing the Major Cook lawsuit and the Judge Carter ruling in California. From what I can tell the callers were really stoked up. Orly Taitz, Alan Keyes and some other notables were on the show..

One of our Jury members, Finbarr in New York, heard the whole thing, recorded it and posted the following in our Forum:

Dobbs said, “This makes no sense.” He said he spoke with Illinois officials who have told him that there is no check on citizenship in Illinois for running for state senator, or US Senator. He says “This is crazy!”

Orly Taitz has been talking to him [Dobbs] for about ten minutes. Orly is a little bit wound up but she is fairly clear. He began talking about the COLB. Dobbs said he was looking at it on the Internet, at that moment. He said, Taitz is right, there is no proof of anything in this document. Taitz said, There are several incidents of fraud in the document. Dobbs did not dispute her. She asked Dobbs: Did you know that in Hawaii anyone born anywhere could get such a document in HI at that time? He answered, in a non-defensive way, No, I did not. Dobbs asked Taitz, If Obama did show a birth certificate, would that satisfy you? Taitz said, “Absolutely no way. He is NOT a natural born citizen.” Dobbs has just said, Look, I have gone way long in this segment, can you hang on? He wants people to call: 1-877-55-DOBBS.

RESISTNET////////The latest news concerning the lawsuit is that Major Cook’s order to report to duty has been REVOKED. It looks like the Military totally took a time-out and caved in. As an ex-military person I totally agree with Major Cook that the chain-of-command is broken with Obama. I don’t agree that the Military should turn tail and run. This is really bad and can only get worse. The men in uniform must know, without hesitation, that the chain-of-command is the final law. What is this, the NEW AGE of the American fighting machine? Let’s tell the enemy before we fire (Obama’s Afghanistan rules of engagement) or let’s tell the troops they can go home if they don’t want to play. I am sure the Russians and the Chinese are laughing their asses off at our Military and Obama right now. I am sorry to say that I am losing respect for some or our high-level Brass right now. I never thought I would hear myself say that.

As far as the Brass falling out of love with the "Commander-in-Chief", perhaps it's because of the way he lied through his teeth about ending Bush's wars.

Forget those North Vietnamese tanks crashing into buildings, it's just a drill.
No need to climb the roofs to get a helicopter ride out of town, we'll be selling tickets again next week.
Those South Vietnamese soldiers are just burning their uniforms because of an outbreak of lice.
Come on down to the Saigon Post this Sunday. We'll be giving free hot-dogs and me and staff will be showing a film on just how we're gonna win this doggone war.
I'll be sticking around and so should you.
See you at the BBQ (not the same thing as a colon.. 'jes a little humor aimed at the unwashed).

Stay tuned, amigos.

Gringoman cannot understand parody?! Or is this sudden Random House definition of 'libel' the last gasp to protect a misrepresentation of fact.

1) the Saigon Post did not do journalism. It was an organ of government propaganda.

2) There is no dispute that Dan Cameron wrote for the Saigon Post. There may be a difference of opinion as to the context of those writings; especially the role of that paper during the Vietnam War.

3) The nature of the original publication some 35 years ago were opinions themselves.

4) You have chosen to republish these opinions which themselves invite comment. In my opinion these were propaganda pieces. I have clearly stated my reasons why I possess this opinion; an opinion which has not been rebutted in substance and,...

5).. quite frankly have been answered by a certain Gringoman with numerous ad-hominem remarks about, of and concerning me, which are false, and tend to diminish my reputation to readers now and in the future. Probably itself actionable. (communist, marxie, anti fascist/fascist, etc etc etc)

6) Clearly, no one takes at face value that Dan Cameron was peddling hot-dogs during the fall of Saigon... so what would one think?

Parody... Pick up MAD magazine.

One possibility is that this is a parody of a Dan Cameron piece which did appear in Saigon Notes about $20 steaks. Further I allege that the publication and the articles contained therein studiously avoided anything that would be critical of the governments role in the war effort. So much so that a headline proclaiming victory was possible was published just prior to the complete collapse of the country. That is why my parody has the author seeking all to remain calm in face of calamity because that is what the Saigon Post did as well.
I posted an article published by the Navy concerning the role of the press and propaganda in wartime. That article also states that anyone at the Post who was critical of the war effort was "labeled a 'liberal' or worse a "communist"". So I take it that Gringoman learned well. My disagreements with his 'journalistic' corpus earned me the same accolades.

7) It is up to the reader to decide the merit of the publication, its author, as to the veracity and meaning of the articles that Gringoman brought to this board. No one will stop buying the Saigon Post because I my writings here; it is long out of business. The pieces themselves are some 40years old and are the stuff of history. I have provided a contrast with articles and parody to help contextualize the historical record which if left alone provided an intentional gross distortion.

I am listening to Obama telling the NAACP : Education is the key to our future. Impassioned, he appears to be the perfect foil of the US economy. He is saying we are too stupid to compete, and the answer is to wait and get better educated - that means Black doctors and Supreme court justices. Still, he does not talk down affirmative action.

I guess we must accept our condition in our stupor. Never mind the banks and the deranging of our economy. I mean, I am a well organized person, but I can do nothing about what the bankers have done. I see no big advancement abroad that ought to embarrass us. What we see is the growth of foreign slavery. He ought to tell the NAAPCP the truth - get better educated, and ... be a better slave.

JAMES STERBA

James Sterba of the NY Times is probably one of the finest young reporters in Vietnam, Now that he's going home very soon, we hear that he's spending much more time at the pinochle table than in briefing rooms. Sterba completed a very good article recently about the G.I. use of marijuana and drugs in Vietnam. But persons who read both claim that he may have been surpassed by 'STEEL POT IN A MARIJUANA CONVOY' which appeared in the little old Saigon Post, September 18 and 19. Sorry 'bout that, Jim. But nobody will hear about it Stateside, or in JUSPAO's Vietnam Round-up. No sweat.

from Phil Wedeen:

Finally we are being told now by Gringoman that he had no idea and/or no responsibility for the false propaganda written in the Saigon Post; a statement which reflects on both his skills as a 'journalist' and his lack of integrity. His role was to criticize in his columns for the Post the american publications and writers who wrote against the war. In his very first column which he reprinted here on MM and on his blog he took aim at a NYT writer critical of the US role in Vietnam.

gringoNOTE: It will be interesting to see if legal authority in compis mentis sees the Wedeen comment (just one piece of his crap is posted above)as "parody," or as the kind of libel you'd expect by a shameless dirtbag and the sort of weasel who attacks others while keeping himself and his background as hidden as Professor Obama does his birth and school records.

"Parody"? We'll see if the non-Slimeberts agree.

ps I agree with most everyone here that this pretentious little snot is not worth replying to, and I ask your indulgence. And remember, from my experience, this is not a typical Canadian. Not even close. Something obviously happened to this one. There'd be no point in bombing Canada unless we had a bomb that was very, very smart. Know what I'm saying?

Ah, the discreet charm of the propagandist:

While cannonizing St Sterba for his happy talk in the NYT, the Saigon Post pup was backhanding another...

"This New Yorker insight is from a September 14 NY Times article by Miss Emerson. The article was about social welfare or charity projects in Vietnam. Miss Emerson's smug, reckless generalization about Vietnamese character was either deliberate slander or sheer obtuseness." - from Saigon Notes

My opinion (intentionally taken out of context above) reads;

"His role was to criticize in his columns for the Post the american publications and writers who wrote against the war. In his very first column which he reprinted here on MM and on his blog he took aim at a NYT writer critical of the US role in Vietnam."

MS Emerson, writing for the NYT wa according to SAIGON NOTES was RECKLESS, A SLANDERER, OBTUSE... her crimes? Ms Emerson wrote pieces critical of the war.

Strange, MS EMERSON writes her opinion and gets slandered in print.... Gringoman, this seems to be a lifelong trait with you.

Now why are you trying to cast me in a false light by saying I was lying? IT"S EMERSON... not Sterba.

Phil Wedeen

To help contextualize why the Saigon Post loved Sterba and hated Gloria Emerson I posted this about MS EMERSON's work in Vietnam:

"Among her first reports for The New York Times, Emerson exposed false "body counts" and "unearned commendations" to field-grade officers and the use of hard drugs by American soldiers. She also reported on the suffering of the Vietnamese people.

In her self-written obituary, which reporters at the Times discovered on the day she died, Emerson described the plaudits that came her way:

Her dispatches from Vietnam won a George Polk Award for excellence in foreign reporting, and, later, a Matrix Award from New York Women in Communications. Her nonfiction book on the war, Winners & Losers (Random House, 1977), won a National Book Award in 1978 but she described it as "too huge and somewhat messy". Its subject was the effects of the conflict on some Americans, or "an absence of the effect", as she once said.[1]

One of the most quoted parts of the book was Emerson's condemnation of "killing at a distance":

Americans cannot perceive — even the most decent among us — the suffering caused by the United States air war in Indochina and how huge are the graveyards we have created there. To a reporter recently returned from Vietnam, it often seems that much of our fury and fear is reserved for busing, abortion, mugging, and liberation of some kind. ... As Anthony Lewis once wrote, our military technology is so advanced that we kill at a distance and insulate our consciences by the remoteness of the killing."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gloria_Emerson

Remember the NAVY study about propaganda in wartime wrote that the POST could not countenence any reportage that would undermine the US mission in the war. This led to the JUSPAO briefings being referred to as the 5 O'clock Funnies (JUSPAO founded the english language Saigon Post in 1965 which was a 64-page 8 column broadsheet that took no paid advertisments) by refusing to acknowledge the TET OFFENSIVE and the famous headline stating victory is possible when at the same time the VC were storming Saigon.
Sterba, on the other hand wrote about the man in the foxhole and did not take on the gestalt of american involvement in an imerial war of aggression,

Recovery spending was misguided. I think the model they have used is pre-WWII Germany. There, several things were going on, and the influx of money from other places including the US, provided recovery for Germany. The money worked, because "infrastructural projects" were supported in a country that was war torn. Clearly, to make an economy work you need roads, bridges, etc. the reason this did not work in the US and Japan, is that we already have the infrastructure we need. The spending is unnecessary. What we need are national priorities for our commercial sector, and to mobilize money and people to provide national support for these priorities. The biggest ought to be economic independence in energy, food and military sectors, and then we need to face international challenges in competing against other nations. This must include securing politically allied groups in other nations. We have no priorities other than erratic projects as government giveaways (earmarks), and so the infrastructure is going for maintainance, other budgetary spending, and bikepaths. Now, if we can develop an economy on bikepaths we are going to be ready.

As Buchanan has said : "Our social state is failing". We need to stop this experiment and enter sobriety. It is not unfathomable, but perhaps unmentionable, that large numbers of unemployed may result. Panic may result if unemployment hits 20-25%. Do we have to reach this point before taking the obvious steps that are necessary? An enemy has not devastated the countryside - our bankers moved our domestic investment abroad along with liquidating our manufacturing. It is like a neutron bomb.

Without leadership we are frozen in uncertainty about the directions in which we can successfully go. What will our government protect and defend?

Dr. Orly Taitz

A U.S. Army Reserve major from Florida scheduled to report for deployment to Afghanistan within days has had his military orders revoked after arguing he should not be required to serve under a president who has not proven his eligibility for office.

His attorney, Orly Taitz, confirmed to WND the military has rescinded his impending deployment orders.

"We won! We won before we even arrived," she said with excitement. "It means that the military has nothing to show for Obama. It means that THE MILITARY HAS DIRECTLY RESPONDED BY SAYING OBAMA IS ILLEGITIMATE== AND THEY CANNOT FIGHT IT. Therefore, they are revoking the order!"

She continued, "They just said, 'Order revoked.' No explanation. No reasons – just revoked."

Oh how WONDERFUL, what a humanitarian and American patriot, why OF COURSE that makes up for all the boys he fellated in and out of the full view of maids, and the millions he spent over a career to buy young boys from their families with big cash payoffs, and to convince a world through nonstop "I Am GOD" PR that jetsetting round the world love affairs with 10-year olds (that somehow always seemed to end when the boy entered puberty), including sleepovers in the same bed, were perfectly natural.

Makes one wonder; maybe it's time we started asking ALL his defenders what THEIR own personal cutoff age for what they believe "legitimate" sexual attraction is.

Even in the Middle Ages, 10 year olds were considered children and out of bounds.

Even in BIBLICAL times.

In fact, Michael Jackson would be a recognized pedophile in ANY historical time period.

TWO GENERALS JOIN COOK 'BIRTHER' CASE

CONNECTICUT YANKEE////////Two Generals Joined Cook Case On Obama Citizenship... Just Before It Was Dismissed.

Oh, how they make things interesting:

A controversial suit brought by a U.S. Army reservist has been joined by a retired Army two-star general and an active reserve Air Force lieutenant colonel.

Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook filed the suit July 8 in federal court here asking for conscientious objector status and a preliminary injunction based upon his belief that President Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States and is therefore ineligible to serve as president of the United States and commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces.

However, before the issue got to court, Cook's orders to deploy to Afghanistan were revoked. Lt. Col. Maria Quon, a public affairs officer with the U.S. Army Human Resources Command-St. Louis, said Tuesday that Cook was no longer expected to report Wednesday to MacDill Air Force Base in Florida for mobilization to active duty. Cook, who claims he is now the victim of retaliation due to his suit, received his mobilization orders to report for active duty at MacDill on Wednesday. From there, he was to go to Fort Benning on Saturday for deployment to Afghanistan.

Cook has now been fired from his employer over the suit, which was dismissed this morning by a federal judge, on the grounds that his canceled deployment orders rendered the case moot.

It is not known if Cook, his lawyer, and the generals will file another case, but I rather suspect they will.

Lew;

Emerson wasn't being posted as an endorsement of her views, nor those of the NYT.
Over several threads has been some er, disagreement about the roll of the Saigon Post during its published lifetime 1965-1975.
As it was began by the USIA and JUSPAO as a conduit for promoting the US policy in Indochina the paper never had journalistic independence.
As the was dragged on the disparity between facts on the ground and the reportage about those facts grew.
Persons employed by the paper could not go off the reservation with respect to what they wrote for the paper; which by all accounts earned the Five O'clock Funnies nickname the press corps dubbed the daily briefing given by JUSPAO, the Posts owner.

POLITICO Exclusive: Conservative group offers to sell endorsement for $2M
Mike Allen Mike Allen Fri Jul 17, 6:07 am ET

The American Conservative Union asked FedEx for a check for $2 million to $3 million in return for the group’s endorsement in a bitter legislative dispute, then flipped and sided with UPS after FedEx refused to pay.

For the $2 million plus, ACU offered a range of services that included: “Producing op-eds and articles written by ACU’s Chairman David Keene and/or other members of the ACU’s board of directors. (Note that Mr. Keene writes a weekly column that appears in The Hill.)”

The conservative group’s remarkable demand — black-and-white proof of the longtime Washington practice known as “pay for play” — was contained in a private letter to FedEx , which was provided to POLITICO.

The letter exposes the practice by some political interest groups of taking stands not for reasons of pure principle, as their members and supporters might assume, but also in part because a sponsor is paying big money.

In the three-page letter asking for money on June 30, the conservative group backed FedEx. After FedEx says it rejected the offer, Keene signed onto a two-page July 15 letter backing UPS. Keene did not return a message left on his cell phone.

Maury Lane, FedEx’s director of corporate communications, said: “Clearly, the ACU shopped their beliefs and UPS bought.”

ACU's executive vice president, Dennis Whitfield, said that neither the group nor David Keene, the chairman, took any money from UPS. Whitfield said the group has never received a response to its original proposal to FedEx. He said Keene endorsed the second letter as an individual, even though the letter bore the logo of ACU.

"Our position hasn't changed," said Whitfield, who was a deputy secretary of labor in the Reagan administration. "It won't change. I am fundamentally, philosophically opposed to doing what the Obama administration wants to do [to FedEx], and so is our organization."

FedEx and UPS, fierce competitors in the package delivery business, are at war over a provision under consideration in Congress that would expand union power at FedEx.

FedEx currently has one U.S. union contract for its entire express business. Under a change passed by the House and awaiting action in the Senate, FedEx — like UPS — would have to negotiate union contracts for individual locations, which FedEx claims would make it much more difficult to promise worldwide regularity for deliveries.

The American Conservative Union, which calls itself “the nation's oldest and largest grass-roots conservative lobbying organization,” took UPS’s side on Wednesday as part of a conservative consortium that accused FedEx of “misleading the public and legislators.” ACU's logo is at the top of the letter, along with those of six other conservative groups.

Just two weeks earlier, ACU had offered its endorsement to FedEx, saying in a letter to the company: “We stand with FedEx in opposition to this legislation.”

But there was a catch — an expensive one. ACU asked FedEx to pay as much as $3.4 million for e-mail and other services for “an aggressive grass-roots campaign to stop the legislation in the Senate.”

“For the activist contact portion of the plan, we will contact over 150,000 people per state multiple times at a cost of $1.39 per name or $2,147,550 to implement the entire program,” the letter says. “If we incorporate the targeted, senator-personalized radio effort into the plan, you can figure an additional $125,000 on average, per state” for an estimated 10 states. The total would be $3,397,550.”

The letter shows one reason why activists get so much junk mail, both on paper and electronically: Some groups that send it charge handsomely for the service.

Under the grass-roots program ACU proposed, “Each person will be contacted a total of seven times totaling nearly 11 million contacts total in the 10 targeted states.” “Within 72 hours of an agreement on the whole plan, we can have the data sets delivered and the first round of e-mail ready for delivery,” the offer states. “Within seven days, the mail can be in the USPS system and the phone call delivered.”

Lane, the FedEx official, said the offer was refused. "The proposal didn’t fit with our strategy of taking a straightforward approach to discussing the issue,” he said.

After the rebuff, American Conservative Union changed sides. ACU Chairman David A. Keene was one of eight conservative leaders who signed a letter to FedEx Chairman Frederick W. Smith, a champion of capitalism who in the past has been a favorite of conservatives.

The letter accuses FedEx of “falsely and disingenuously” labeling the rules change a “bailout” for UPS, since FedEx would become subject to the same arduous union structure.

The letter is also signed by Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform, who is also on ACU’s board. FedEx is pushing its case with a website called www.BrownBailout.com.

The letter signed by the conservative leaders concludes: “To paraphrase the words of Ronald Reagan, ‘Mr. Smith, tear down this website.’”

Among the services ACU had offered to provide for the $2 million-plus price tag:

—Acquiring data of known conservatives in the targeted states (to be determined by FedEx), matching that data to an e-mail database and then incorporating those e-mail addresses with the current ACU e-mail database to create one targeted database of all potential activists.

—Sending a piece of targeted direct mail to these potential activists to ensure that they are well-educated prior to their contact with their senators.

—E-mailing the identified voter activists, in five rounds, in order to educate them on the issue(s) and to urge them to call their senators based on key dates. The ACU would include the phone number of their personal senators directly in the correspondence.

—Conducting targeted phone call campaign that will contact all voter activists to urge them to make a personal call to their senators. Each state would have a specialized message just for that state.

—Encouraging activists who live within 30 miles of a senator’s district office to consider making a personal visit to register their concerns at the office. ACU has proved that we can turn out well-informed, quality voters who present a good image to represent our concerns.

—As the vote for the legislation nears, distributing ACTION ALERT e-mails, and after the vote has taken place, distributing MegaVote e-mails to ACU’s members letting them know how their senators vote.

Our propagandist friend late of the Saigon Post never reports on who is leaving the Birther movement:

"TWO GENERALS JOIN COOK 'BIRTHER' CASE"- Gringoman

In fact Gringoman has never mentioned that the East Coast wing of the Birther Movement is suing the West Coast wing.... over.... money;

http://www.tsrn.us/blog/2009/05/05/exclusive-breaking-news-new-lawsuit-filed-against-orly-taitz-and-ed-hale/

Gringoman seems to be on the Orly Taitz wing of the Birther Movement but some 70% of her following has left with Philip Berg.
Both accuse each other of wasting Movement funds though each has said that the numerous trips made to Wlkkiki were for birth certificate research. Neither were fruitful. The Obama birth certificate could not be found at the bottom of a pina-colada and wasn't located in a mojito either.
Maybe next trip.

Appearances on late night radio, magazine articles, speaking engagements has become a cottage industry. 100 years ago these people would have been running a tent-show.
So for now they are content to put Obama on hold as they fight over the moola.

gringoman

This is the typical work of a low-life ideologue, something you'd expect from Marx-Lenin People's Summer Camp. The idiot even forgot to mention one of the technological wonders of the Yankee Killer that he loved to tell the world about while the Communists were terrorizing every peasant in Vietnam and killing those they wanted to make examples of: The Great Godzilla Machine. It was able to destroy five villages in one swoop, and on a good day, could make ten new My Lai Massacres. Way ahead of the Communists, who had to do their murderous terror far from the prize-winning "journalists" and cameras that this little proglodyte eulogizes---at the Internet home of our Warrior Princess.

Proof of how porous our borders are?

Phil Wedeen

So gringoman stipulates that the Saigon Post and his work there did not constitute journalism because of the reasons he states above.

Some legacy.

"Americans cannot perceive — even the most decent among us — the suffering caused by the United States air war in Indochina and how huge are the graveyards we have created there."

Ask any of the Vietnamese refugees, especially the Boat people, who made there way out about when the real pain and suffering began.

When you are ready for the truth about Viet Nam, get your nose out of the leftist rags like the New York Times and began asking those of us who served there.

All of us, not just the few who cling to the VVAW!!

The ignorance of the American public still astounds me.

Lew,

This ACLU bird from the Canadian Cuckoo's nest calls himself, I believe, a lawyer. Let him deny it, if he doesn't want to be tarnished with such an ad hominem.

Persons employed by the paper could not go off the reservation with respect to what they wrote for the paper; which by all accounts earned the Five O'clock Funnies nickname the press corps dubbed the daily briefing given by JUSPAO, the Posts owner.

Lew,

This dufus from the Canadian Cuckoo's nest must be posting from somewhere with a lot of locks. I wonder if the socialized medicine can afford a case like his? The idiot can't even libel intelligently, and he's tried very hard. He seems to have a degree in something. How did Canada sink this low? Can he be a unique aberration? A mutant?

100 years ago, mutations from the Canadian Cuckoo's nest, raised by MamaBird Marx, would be attracting the curious. It would be an honest living under the tragic circumstances. TIME FOR OBOTS TO ORDER THE OXYCONTIN?

gringoNOTE: According to WND, even Lynn Samuels, the Rosa Luxembourg yenta of LibLand, is becoming a 'birther.'

WND///////Radio talk shows, television programming, newspapers - even a liberal talk show host in New York and talk format icon Lou Dobbs - have begun taking note of the story long reported by WorldNetDaily over the doubts about and challenges to President Obama's eligibility to occupy the Oval office.

Lynn Samuels, longtime New York radio talker, even accused Obama of lying about his birth certificate.

I’m not trying to defend him, but I he was the pop star who gave the most to charity. From listening to his music, I really do believe he did try to make the world a better place.
No one denies that Michael Jackson had extreme emotional problems, but he was still able to achieve a tremendous amount of success and respect. Michael Jackson was antiwar, yet and Obama (who blew off the troops in Germany), Michael Jackson still took time out of his schedule to THANK the troops. How many regular Americans do that?
Even if the worst is true, why aren’t people upset with the parents who were PIMPING their kids. Unlike the people who made their money by exploiting Michael Jackson, Michael Jackson made his money through his own hard work and talent. He CREATED jobs and he GAVE BACK.

Yes. As you point out, if we'd only followed the sound advice of Washington, Jefferson et al., we never would have gotten into that mess in the first place.

WHY for God's sake? The Zionists made their own bed -- let them lie in it. We've played the host to that parasite state for far too long already.

xbjllb

Important post answered first:

"WHY for God's sake? The Zionists made their own bed -- let them lie in it. We've played the host to that parasite state for far too long already."

----

Not all Jews are Zionists; even in Israel. Furthermore, I wouldn't ever call American Jews parasites unless they hold dual citizenship like the Neocons.

Furthermore, since Israel IS the 51st state of the US, it needs to be dismantled for peace to ever exist in the Mideast. You have to remove a cancer to cure a patient.

Like I said; take the ones smart enough to come where they should have been allowed to come in the first place. God knows they assimilate about 1000 times faster than Hispanics. This country needs more doctors, accountants, lawyers, and entertainers to fix what's wrong with it, and less gardeners, crop pickers, day laborers, and drunk drivers.

xbjllb

Now for the useless baloney:

"Even if the worst is true, why aren’t people upset with the parents who were PIMPING their kids. Unlike the people who made their money by exploiting Michael Jackson."

----

In order for parents to pimp their kids, THERE HAD TO BE A RICH PEDOPHILE IN THE MARKET FOR THEM. Quit blaming the victims for the perpetrators' crimes!

If Michael Jackson didn't exist, the parents wouldn't have known WHO to sell their kids TO. Most pedophiles don't flaunt their love affairs in the mainstream media, OR defend their perverted lifestyle to journalists, or make public payoffs to attract other parents with monetary problems and either no conscience or extremely convenient denial even thicker headed than yours'.

----

"Michael Jackson made his money through his own hard work and talent."

----

The Jackson Family has historically been the largest scam carnival con in the history of entertainment. AS EARLY AS THE SO CALLED VICTORY TOUR in 1985, AT THE TOP OF THEIR POPULARITY, NOT A SINGLE PROMOTER INVOLVED MADE MONEY. ALL lost everything they had put in.

EXCEPT the Jackson Family, who got paid up front.

Every business enterprise since then had a similar result. That man, in particular, and that family, have a string of ruined businessmen behind them that would reach from one end of the country to the other, all wishing them dead.

Not to mention hotels and rental estates and shop bills that have NEVER been paid.

The man was in debt the day he died in the amount of at least 150 MILLION dollars; the exact figure will not be known for possibly years.

----

"He CREATED jobs and he GAVE BACK."

----

Every penny he "gave back" was to gain what appeared to be legitimate access to pre-teen aged boys (and girls for show). Even terminal ones.

In fact, terminal boys were a particular specialty of his, as hopefully as far as he was concerned they would not survive to adulthood to ever realized they'd been wronged enough to ever tell.

As far as creating jobs, he was particularly good at creating jobs for maids who saw him fellating 10 year old boys with their own eyes and not say a word.

One did. Under oath.

Will you please get out of here with your denial and your defense of the indefensible?

No really. Stop now, while you're so far behind your defense could get YOU thrown into prison.

No, I won’t stop. I’ve been reading the evidence and I agree with the verdict in the 2005 trial. From what I’ve read, I don’t see anything to convict him. There was a story that I read about a maid and they said that she wasn’t a credible witness because she was fired. (Of course, I wasn’t a juror and I didn’t have access to the actual evidence.)
MJ’s humanitarian efforts are impressive:

I was listening to Mark Levin remind people of the 40th anniversary of Chappaquiddick. Mark made the point that even though Kennedy is sick, like Michael Jackson, we shouldn’t whitewash the truth.
“For those old enough to remember, that juxtaposition of Apollo 11 and Chappaquiddick will always mark the 1960s as a reminder of the essential truth about politics: high ideals being pursued by flawed human beings.”

I agree with Mark. Both Kennedy and Jackson have “dark sides”, and that part of their lives SHOULD BE discussed along with their accomplishments.

If you are a parent so desperately poor to sell your kids to an out of the closet freak like Jackson, AFTER all the allegations, then you are every bit a victim of his fame and money as your child is a victim of you AND MJ, the causative perpetrator in the first place.

And if you aren't desperately poor and you do it, then you are a victim of your own pathetic greed and denial.

In fact, M/M, you appear to be the only MJ victim left around here, victimized by your own denial of what is obvious to almost everyone else on the planet.

Now that's every bit as ludicrous as believing Jackson was innocent or extraordinarily talented beyond childhood in the first place.

But definitely in character.

Over-the-top sarcasm doesn't make him any less a pedophile, or even begin to reduce my arguments to that level either.

It is, however, often the last refuge of someone without a case.

Of course they aren't; I didn't say they were. Many Jews are as strongly anti-Zionist as I am. Jewish rabbis held a mass protest in front of the Israeli embassy and burned the Israeli flag. I have previously mentioned the True Torah Jews for example. See here:

Bite your tongue. Israel is NOT the 51st state and never will be. We have more than enough states as it is. Should have stopped at the contiguous 48, or maybe just added Alaska.

What "it needs to be" is none of our business. What WE need to be is our business, and what we need to be in relation to Israel is disconnected. Completely unplugged, divorced, cast off, separated. Washington and Jefferson would be turning in their graves if they knew how completely we have abandoned the nation's original principles as set down by them in no uncertain terms, with regard to our relationships with other nations.

That is extremely interesting. It looks as though this not-really-a-birth-certificate story may have legs after all. Of course the leftist MSM will continue to do what they can to bury it, but it doesn't look like it's going away. Now there are WHERE'S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE? billboards on roadsides. That is so TV-friendly a device it's bound to get some attention.

What's intriguing about the story is how complicated it is. One problem is that "natural-born citizen" is not defined in the Constitution, and apparently not defined in an incontrovertible way anywhere else either. There are a number of opinions but nothing absolutely definitive.

Another complication: as I understand the situation, it doesn't matter so much that he was born in Kenya (and I have finally come to believe that is definitely the case); if both his parents were U.S. citizens that would be OK. But his father being Kenyan and therefore at that time a British subject, in the view of British natural law Obama Jr. was born British. And for purposes of presidential eligibility, he cannot be both British and American by birth.

xbjllb

"What "it needs to be" is none of our business. What WE need to be is our business, and what we need to be in relation to Israel is disconnected. Completely unplugged, divorced, cast off, separated."

----

We're basically on the same page as to what the PROBLEM is. The only difference is a matter of degree of the solution, and the end result.

Your method leaves Israel in the Mideast to STILL trigger nuclear Armageddon, and have no reservations, without US support in its utter paranoia, it will. The second it realizes US support has ended.

And that will CERTAINLY affect the United States and the entire planet.

My method, admittedly much harder and more expensive IN THE SHORT RUN, removes Israel and the nuclear trigger for Armageddon from the Mideast. Effectively ending any future rogue CIA's or other US alphabet agency's attempt at creating, fostering, manipulating, or using any sort of Islamic terrorism for a cover, whatsoever, indefinitely. My method creates instant permanent peace with all of Islam save a handful who will gradually die away like Michael Jackson and OJ Simpson fans.

McLaughlin believes my solution is unecessary, that demographics will run their course and do the job for us. I don't think there will be enough time for that.

You fix a problem you created by uncreating it. There is no other way.
