President Obama is said to be reserving comment on the Iranian election because of concerns about "vote fraud" and "voting irregularities."
That's rich.
Can anyone say "ACORN?"
How about members of the New Black Panther Party standing outside Philadelphia polling places on Election Day, menacing voters?
On the flip side, at least The Bama knows something about the topic.

It seems that a non-denominational person of unknown gender or sexual orientation walked into a bar...or rather entered an establishment of business, since "walked" might be construed as being insensitive to amputees and paraplegics, and "bar" might make recovering alcoholics go all weepy. Anyway...this person walked into this place. And the bartender -- er, person who worked there -- said "What can I get for you." And the person said, "a DVD of the Conan O'Brien show please." And the barten -- er, person who worked there -- said, "I'm sorry, we're all out of über-LIEberal, functionally illiterate, humorless idiots... how about a glass of non-GMO, low-fat, fair-trade soymilk?"

One day all verbal intercourse will terminate, the victim of political correctness. We will just have to look around and wonder what people are thinking about.
There is so much corruption in politics these days - I wish someone who is honest, loves her mother and her sister, and sees the political landscape clearly, like Monica would run for office. But would any honest person have a chance?

That "noble religion of peace" you puke on didn't give the world Abu Ghraib, Gitmo, Fallujah, Gaza, and Mahmudiyah, just for starters.
No, Dearest, look in your mirror for whose religion is responsible for that.
You may puke on Islam all you want; God will puke fire on the religions responsible for the crimes against humanity listed above, and worse on their adherents.

Letterman says he will apologize:
“Letterman said he had no idea Palin was at the game with her 14-year-old daughter, Willow, and apologized to the governor.
"I had, honestly, no idea that the 14-year-old girl, I had no idea that anybody was at the ball game except the governor, and I was told at the time she was there with Rudy Giuliani," Letterman said. "It’s not your fault that it was misunderstood, it’s my fault. ... So I would like to apologize, especially to the two daughters involved, Bristol and Willow, and also to the governor and her family and everybody else who was outraged by the joke."

One advertiser pulling out because of complaints:
Embassy Suites, part of the Hilton Hotels Corp., pulled advertising on CBS' site because of complaints, company spokeswoman Kendra Walker told TVGuide.com. The company was not an advertiser on Letterman's show.
"We received lots of e-mails from concerned guests and we assessed that the statement that he made was offensive enough to our guests and prospective guests that we elected to take the ads down," Walker said. She declined to release the cost of the ads.

Why do the idiot libs always spew on and on about 'abu ghraib' and 'torture' but you never hear a WORD from these gullible cretgins when it comes to the crimes commited by islam.
And that INCLUDES the first Holocaust, which is rthe one where Turks murdered a million Armenians.
Adoplf Hitler is known to have said: "Who cared about whqat happened to a million Armenians", thus feeling emboldened to start his own pogrom of Galactic Proportions.
By the way, islamic jihadists have killed over 13,000 just since 9/11.
I guess these killers will all go to "heaven", won't they? I mean they're all part of the ROP® !!
And all those mughals who murdered MILLIONS of Indian Buddhists and Hindus when they first swarmed across that formerly great land, decimating the locval populations in their wake!

“Our Mission Statement:
David Letterman Must Held Be Accountable For His Disgraceful Statements”
There are 2 very important things you can do today.
1. Call your LOCAL CBS affiliate. Tell them you are boycotting products of LOCAL sponsors of his program starting immediately.
2. Call AT LEAST ONE of the LOCAL sponsors of David Letterman's Late Show. Tell them you will not purchase ANYTHING they sell so long as they continue to sponsor the David Letterman Show.
When you are done with these two things today, please send me an email so I can tell others of your progress. My e-mail is [email protected].

This apology ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH:
“On Monday's edition of "Late Show," Letterman explained that the risque joke thought by some to have targeted Palin's underage daughter, Willow, was actually referring to 18-year-old daughter Bristol. The name of the daughter wasn't mentioned in the joke, which was part of Letterman's monologue on last Monday's show.
It was "a coarse joke," "a bad joke," Letterman told viewers. "But I never thought it was (about) anybody other than the older daughter, and before the show, I checked to make sure, in fact, that she is of legal age, 18."
http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?news=414594>1=28103
Q) If Letterman took enough time to check Bristol’s age, why didn’t he check to make certain he was joking about the right daughter?
Q.) Does David Letterman suggest that the joke was appropriate because it was about Bristol? Does David Letterman think all unwed teenage girls are whores? Like this one:
http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?news=414594>1=28103

Hey, you! Yeah, you! You can probably easily get Letterman fired, but it will backfire on the GOP like you wouldn't believe.
Dan Rather had few fans left when he was fired, ratings in the toilet.
Letterman, on the other hand, has millions of fans who will be voting for anyone BUT the GOP candidate, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THEIR USELESS LIVES.
Word to the wise. Which is an oxymoron reference, because so few in the GOP ARE wise.

This is not a gong show here. Not due to the quality of most of the LiEberal interlopers stinking up the joint around here, but only because Monica never rings the Gong on some of these stinkers!
We all know who they are.. the most recent being a closet MoHAMedan Lettermaniaco.
Makes sense though. There is no humor in islam like the late Assahola Kakamamie said and we can add in Adolfinejad into that equation.
Therefore the decidedly creepy, misogynistic and unfunny Letterman would figure to be beloved by MoHAMedans.
If he grew a beard he might even make it to being an imam. He certainly hates beautiful Western Women as much as THEY do.

Glenn Beck: Palin eviscerates Letterman
GLENN: I don't want anybody telling people what they can and can't say, I don't want David Letterman fired for it. I don't want boycotts of David Letterman. I would, however, like a little bit of consistency from CBS. They fired Don Imus over a comment that he made about a comment about a basketball team, you don't know the specifics of anybody and that was the worst thing that anybody has ever said at any time including, kill them all and let God sort them out. It was the worst thing uttered ever. And David Letterman says this about a specific family with a picture, and CBS signs him to a new contract. Now, what Sarah Palin has done is she has demonstrated only to those who care to see and nobody in the mainstream media will see. She has demonstrated, "Oh, really? I could play that game, too." She just took out a comedian. Now, unlike with the with Al Sharpton who pickets and then all of a sudden they find themselves out of a job, I don't agree with that. I don't agree with picketing and then the company fires them and everything else. That kind of pressure is wrong. You've let the people vote with the ratings, and they are going to do that. You mark my words. David Letterman has made a has staked out a position here that unless he changes courses, he is going to be, well, at CBS. He is going to be Katie Couric. They are going to be perfect bookends for the CBS lineup. Katie Couric, all the liberals love her. All the people in these people's circle are on, you got it, Dave, you took her out. You stand strong, Dave. All the regular people, A, don't want you to treat her that way, even if they disagree with her. You don't treat somebody like that.

People are talking about “freedom of speech” in this Letterman boycott, but what about ours. I know what you are saying about a backlash to boycotts, but the media is out of control. Maybe, if the television executives and advertisers SEE how many people are NOT watching their networks and NOT hearing about their products, they will get the message. I personally watch much less television because I can’t take the media anymore.
The more I think of Letterman and his lame apologies, the angrier I get. WHO IS HE to criticize Bristol Palin? What exactly did she do other than have a baby? It isn’t just Letterman, but everyone else on the Left who uses a teenage unwed mother as the butt of their jokes. The media glorifies Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, but treats this girl like “trailer trash”. This is a message to Letterman and his ilk that there is a LARGE percentage of the population who is OFFENDED by their treatment of Bristol Palin and her family.
Posted by: M/M | June 16, 2009 at 06:28 AM
Look, about the Letterman thing. It was clearly obvious to anyone with half a brain he was referring to the knocked up out of wedlock older sister, not the barely teen virgin. YOU guys know the difference because you know what brand of NAIL POLISH Sarah Palin uses and what her favorite underwear colors are. The writers at Letterman, and Letterman himself? Forget about it, he probably didn't even know there were TWO daughters.
Now IF he was talking about the minor, then you guys would have a case and the world wouldn't be laughing at you while the world of Islam would be enraged right along with you. (Take that, Ummah!)
You'd have a lot more support. As it is, he was talking about the loose daughter.
Everyone who didn't give a darn WHICH daughter went to a stupid baseball game (99% of the planet) knew the joke was about the "free and easy" older daughter.
So let's get real here, ok? Leave the old guy alone, he doesn't need another heart attack from the likes of you witchburners.
You get him killed over this, or even just fired, and Obama Depression or nuclear attack or not, you will never win another election.
Posted by: xbjllb | June 16, 2009 at 07:25 AM
Everyone who didn't give a darn WHICH daughter went to a stupid baseball game (99% of the planet) knew the joke was about the "free and easy" older daughter.
________________________________
The above comment is EXACTLY what bothers me. We don’t know that Bristol is “free and easy”. Does anyone call the father of her child “free and easy”? We HAD a sexual revolution, yet the teenage girl who chooses to have the child is branded with “a scarlet letter” as a whore by late night comics and the LIEberal left.
Letterman’s ratings may be growing but so is my anger. Bristol Palin, or any teenage girl, who chooses to keep her child doesn’t deserve this. Our culture exposes and glamorizes sex. Teenage girls, with high their high fertility rates, should not be stigmatized if they get pregnant and keep their babies.
This isn’t about winning elections.
This is about standing up for principles.

On the issue of honesty and politics, I received many responses on this - 1) the globe is filled with dishonest people and to deal with them you must use force, 2) an honest politican can always resort to lawsuits for self-protection, 3) you have to be dishonest just to set new expectations, to protect a strategy, to get what's yours ...

Monica :
People on the left are angry, that I am willing to say that Palin, making a big political hit on Letterman makes her look bad as a politician. Anyone with presidential pretensions is committing suicide by using their office to go after private individuals. She has done this before with her son-in-law, and her daughter's boyfriend. As a mother and a woman, her reaction ought to inspire her to file a suit. Instead she is eliminating herself from any further consideration. She appears like a woman out of control - driven by her feminine emotions rather than her common sense.
Posted by: Dgscol | June 16, 2009 at 05:46 PM
Monica,
I don’t know how other women feel, but I AM FURIOUS, and the Republicans are NOT GUARANTEED my vote.
If you REALLY want to know the truth, this is the FIRST ELECTION I voted for a REPUBLICAN (with the exception of John McCain in the 2000 primary). As for being a conservative, I used to be a swing voter and I AM STILL PRO CHOICE.
If CONSERVATIVES want to repeal ROE VS WADE, stop treating unwed women LIKE WHORES. I know what it feels like to be a teenage girl, stressing out when your period is late. I also know about fertility rates and how much more difficult it is conceive in your 30s than as a teenage girl, and how the rate of Down’s Syndrome and miscarriage increases when a woman is older.
Gov. Palin and her family are making us discuss issues that are relevant to women NOW. Specifically:
1) How to balance a career with children
2) Single teenage motherhood or motherhood in general
3) Down’s Syndrome
Now, that Hussein is President, the absolute worse has happened. I may just vote for the Democrat in the next election, especially if that Democrat is a woman, Hispanic or black, just to vote out the white guys. The worse that can happen, now that we have Jimmy Carter 2.0, is that I’ll hear more LIEberals complain.
Ron Paul ‘12

THANK GOD THE REPUBLICANS HAVE RUSH.
RUSH: Over on another State-Run Media network, the David Letterman show last night, Letterman apologized to Sarah Palin. It was a real apology, but it was also couched in this continuing excuse that he thought he was talking about an 18-year-old, not a 14-year-old. The bottom line here is the joke's inappropriate whether the age of the woman is 14, 18, or 40. But he goes on, we've got tape of the apology and I think everybody is missing what happened here. I gave the Drive-Bys, I gave State-Run Media a week head start on this, and they still don't get it. All Letterman did was pull a Katie Couric. He did what Katie Couric did. She was desperate for attention, her ratings were plummeting, and they have plummeted now to an all-time low for the CBS Evening News, she got Sarah Palin on, and remember that interview ignited everybody because she supposedly embarrassed Sarah Palin, one of the worst interviews Palin had done, her star rose, Katie got an award after that. She made fun of Sarah Palin.
