"Given our interdependence, any world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will inevitably fail. So whatever we think of the past, we must not be prisoners of it. Our problems must be dealt with through partnership; progress must be shared."
-----------------------------------
That statement caught my eye also. What we have here is a Community-Organizer-In-Chief instead of a Commander-In-Chielf. He thinks of America as just one big community organizer in a world of other communities and all we have to do is just form "partnerships" with everyone, share the wealth (and the nukes), and everything will be just rosey. Meanwhile the lamesteam media has chills running up and down their legs while he speaks.

Unfortunately for America, our enemies are probably setting back laughing at us. Does he really think countries like N. Korea and Iran is going to join the "partnerships" and community projects. What we have is a government that is part Nevel Chamberlain, part Jimmy Carter, and part Hugo Chavez. There is only two words that discribe our Community-Organizer-In-Chielf: lame and weak.

Noone in the lamestream has ever discussed the campaign contributions from foreign entities such as the "palestinians" and the SOWdis.

They are now cashing in their investments.

"Our problems must be dealt with through partnership; progress must be shared."
---------------------------------------------
As we form partnerships with GM, AIG, the banking industry, the medical community, and other aspects of our economy and way of life, remember it is not socialism and the government takeover of the economy, it is "partnerships". Obama is just being a good "partner" to the economy. Remember Idi Amin Dada For Life? It's sort of like that, he wasn't a dictator he was Dada. Obama is not attempting to take over the economy and doesn't want to run GM, he just wants "partnerships".

Just call him "partner" (or maybe comrade).

There is NOTHING exceptional about Americans, in fact ANY American who has traveled to Europe will know, ALOT of Europeans seem FAR smarter and knowledgeable than the AVERAGE American. This narcissistic quality some,(Monica) have creates a 'Straw Man' that blinds us to REAL problems in our country. For example we say we have the 'Best' Health Care in the world...O Really? than why do MOST European countries have a lower Infant mortality rate, lower Obesity/Diabetes rates and longer healthier lifespans? But But.... rationing healthcare and waiting lists. Well guess what? NO European govt FORCES you to wait, if you want it NOW crack open the checkbook, get your self a private 'Cadillac plan' or pull out some cold hard cash and get it done on the spot in a NICE private Clinic. The question isn't would you rather wait or not. The REAL question is whither a BASIC plan is BETTER than NO plan that the uninsured are dealing with.

AS MR KOOL REACHES OUT TO A RELIGION........

U.S. experts: Pakistan on course to become Islamist state
Tuesday, Jun. 02, 2009
Jonathan S. Landay - McClatchy Newspapers

"It’s a disaster in the making on the scale of the Iranian revolution," said a U.S. intelligence official with long experience in Pakistan who requested anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to speak publicly.

WASHINGTON — A growing number of U.S. intelligence, defense and diplomatic officials have concluded that there’s little hope of preventing nuclear-armed Pakistan from disintegrating into fiefdoms controlled by Islamist warlords and terrorists, posing a greater threat to the U.S. than Afghanistan’s terrorist haven did before 9/11.

"It’s a disaster in the making on the scale of the Iranian revolution," said a U.S. intelligence official with long experience in Pakistan who requested anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to speak publicly.

Pakistan’s fragmentation into warlord-run fiefdoms that host al Qaida and other terrorist groups would have grave implications for the security of its nuclear arsenal; for the U.S.-led effort to pacify Afghanistan; and for the security of India, the nearby oil-rich Persian Gulf and Central Asia, the U.S. and its allies.

The REAL question is who runs the system. Do we let a politican in DC run the system or do we let the free market prevail and let consumers chose there own doctor and service. If you want to know what a government run health care system looks like just look at the Post Office. Instead of standing in line for a week for a book of stamps you will be waiting in line for years to get a surgical procedure. You lefties must be smoking something pretty strong to believe people like Nancy Peloser and Harry Reid can run anything.

Than don't use it, NO country that has Universal Healthcare REQUIRES you to use it. Sure either you or your company will have to pay in one form or another for a private plan or like I said pony up actual cash, but you CAN do it. I BET you dollars to donuts that unless your RICH, you will wait for a couple months for that Knee Surgery RATHER than pay some serious cash to get it done NOW, but it's up to you. I needed a Converter Box for one of my HDTV Monitors that didn't have a tuner built in, I could have got one of those Govt. Sponsered boxes for free, but I ponied up a couple hundred to get a Samsung 1080p high performance model because I had the cash and wanted better performance. Now if I was broke(Or cheap) I could have taken the Govt. up on it's offer...Look at Universal Healthcare like that, a FLOOR not a Ceiling.

Did it ever occur to you to ask why the hell is the government giving away converter boxes? Is that where some of our tax dollars is going? I guess it's "free" converter boxes, like our "free" health care provided by the government. Nothing is free and we (those 50 percent of Americans who pay taxes) will pay for the "free" health care, the question is who controls the system and tells us which doctor we can chose. And as for your whacky idea of "cracking" our wallet and paying for health care outside the system, have you ever considered "cracking" your wallet and paying outside your private insurance plan? Can we have a reality check here, please.

DEBBIE SCHLUSSEL///// It's well known that Al-Azhar is the source of much of the extremist Sunni Muslim religious thought in the entire Muslim world. It's known that they openly teach at this school that Jews are subhuman and must be wiped off the earth. It's also known that the Muslim Brotherhood--from which Al-Qaeda and HAMAS both emanated--uses the place as its home base to recruit terrorists. Heck, it might as well be called Brotherhood U.

Muhammad Sayyid Al-Tantawi, the Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar, is notorious for his anti-Semitic statements and teachings. Read more about Al-Azhar from Andrew Bostom's op-ed column in last week's New York Daily News.

So why the heck would an American President praise this place? Only if he's a) a complete moron, b) a complete a--hole, or c) both. I vote "c."

Also of note, complete ignoramus and soft-on-Islam clueless vessel Ed Morrissey of Hot Air (a pimp for pan-Muslim Grover Norquist) declared the speech "Surprisingly Good." Figures, cuz' again, he's about as ignorant as Obama, minus the panache. And, predictably, CAIR loved the speech, too. That Hot Air and CAIR have the same feelings on the Obama speech and both loved it, should tell ya something.

And not about CAIR. They actually know what they're doing.

THOMAS BARNETT///////But wait a minute. We are reminded, from bloviators the world over, of the miracle cure in the Middle East: "If only America would pressure Israel into a two-state solution, that alone would erase much anti-Americanism in the region!"

Possibly, for a brief moment. But here's the dirty secret that any observant outsider who travels the region quickly discovers: Your average Arab can't stand Palestinians. They consider them their civilization's version of idiot, hillbilly low-lifes; the tension runs deep in bigotry and history alike. Obama's comparison of the Palestinian struggle to the Civil Rights Movement may, then, actually have been apt, but he's kidding himself if he really thinks a two-state solution will alter the ideological landscape much.

Why? Because the big fight in the region today is what it's always been: Sunni on Shia. It's just that now the Shia are clearly ascendant, and nothing scares Sunni dictators more. So please, swallow Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's Jew-baiting propaganda if you must, but Israel's strictly the whipping boy on this one, because the real struggle here is over who dominates the region going forward, and it's a struggle between two complex powers: Persian Iran and Saudi Arabia

Not only have we lost their active support, but - wore - they fight US on behalf of our common enemies and they simply CANNOT see it.

Unfortunately I am not sure the POTUS-at-present is simply blinded in the way of the common Caucasian Ignorantii. Even more unfortunately, I am beginning to believe that which I'd been suspecting from the beginning, namely that he knows EXACTLY what he is doing.

I do think that you are perceptive enough to know what I am saying and that there is no need to flesh this out with examples and so on.

I don't really care if others get it.

They obviously didn't, as evidenced by the General Election in Nov. 2008.

Why it is a waste of YOUR time voting for the Republican party?

“WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Republican National Committee Chairman Mike Duncan formally denounced on Thursday the Tennessee Republican Party's use of Barack Obama's full name in a recent news release questioning the Illinois senator's commitment to Israel.
"The RNC rejects these kinds of campaign tactics," Duncan said in a statement. "We believe this election needs to be about the critical issues confronting our nation."

The statement in question, which was released Monday, said the state party is joining a "growing chorus of Americans concerned about the future of the nation of Israel ... if Sen. Barack Hussein Obama is elected president of the United States."
It also included a photograph of Obama from a 2006 trip to Kenya, in which he is dressed in traditional attire.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/02/28/tennessee.gop/index.html

Though it was issued Monday, the release came under fresh scrutiny Wednesday after conservative talk radio host Bill Cunningham repeatedly used Obama's full name at a John McCain campaign event in Cincinnati, Ohio, while describing Obama as a "hack Chicago-style Daley politician" who had yet to be challenged by the media. Watch CNN's interview with Cunningham »

“The story of the 38-year-old Uday, whose whereabouts are unknown, is only part of the horrors that tumble every day now out of American-ruled Iraq. It is a story that exceeds the worst that human rights organizations like Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch chronicled in the years before American troops toppled Mr. Hussein's government last month. “

REMEMBER THIS:

Soccer Players Describe Torture by Hussein's Son
(May 6, 2003)
________________________________________
By JOHN F. BURNS
The New York Times
www.nytimes.com
________________________________________
BAGHDAD, Iraq — It was little surprise that Habib Jaafer, star midfielder of the Iraqi national soccer team for the past 17 years, stiffened as he approached the National Olympic Committee.
He had come to point out the scenes of his humiliations by the man every Iraqi still refers to simply as "Mr. Uday" — Saddam Hussein's eldest son.
Mr. Jaafer, 36, is a small, wiry man, and by his own profession a bantam in defending himself, on or off the field. That, fellow players on the national squad said, made him Uday's preferred target for punishment whenever the team failed to win.
The Olympic committee headquarters, near the Canal Expressway on the eastern side of Baghdad, is a burned-out shell now, its torture chambers in the basement flooded with water, every floor a wasteland of charred furniture and twisted steel. Out front, the gold-painted statue of Saddam Hussein lies prone on the ground. Its head was cut off with axes and carried away.

Nothing could more perfectly represent the end of Mr. Hussein's rule, and the loathing for his son. But Mr. Jaafer, the midfielder, paused at the gateway, reluctant to enter.
"Just coming to this gate fills me with fear," he said. "So often, when I came here, I knew that days of punishment lay ahead."

Told that he had no reason to fear Uday any longer, Mr. Jaafer demurred. "You say he's gone, but can you tell me where he is?" he said. "Can you be certain he will not come back? As long as Saddam Hussein and his sons are still alive, they are dangerous."
His fear is understandable. This building was equipped with torture contraptions that included a sarcophagus, with long nails pointing inward from every surface, including the lid, so victims could be punctured and suffocated.

Another device, witnesses said, was a metal framework designed to clamp over a prisoner's body, with footrests at the bottom, rings at the shoulders and attachment points for power cables, so the victim could be hoisted and subjected to electric shocks.
After the Olympic building burned, reporters visiting the ruins found the sarcophagus with nails abandoned out back, as if dragged there by the looters who emptied the building of its furniture before it burned.

The metal framework used for administering electric shocks turned up two weeks later at Al Hekmah mosque in Saddam City, the Baghdad neighborhood now renamed Al-Sadr City, where Muslim clerics said it had been taken by looters who had removed it from the Olympic building. The framework is now a display item at the mosque, symbolizing the repression of Iraqi Shiites by Saddam Hussein.

"Bummer.

Here we thought Obama had appointed some level-headed sane candidate and instead we have a nominee who more resembles his former mentor.
What a shocker.

Greg Sargent reported:
A copy of the 1994 speech was included with the questionnaire she submitted for the 1998 confirmation. A Sotomayor supporter sent both to me.

Here’s what she said in the 1994 speech:
Justice O’Connor has often been cited as saying that “a wise old man and a wise old woman reach the same conclusion in dueling cases. I am not so sure Justice O’Connor is the author of that line since Professor Resnik attributes the line to Supreme Court Justice Coyle. I am not so sure that I agree with the statement. First, if Prof. Martha Minnow is correct, there can never be a universal definition of ‘wise.’ Second, I would hope that a wise woman with the richness of her experience would, more often than not, reach a better conclusion.”
That’s virtually identical to the comments from 2001 that have generated days and days of controversy.
Great pick, Barack.

More... Sotomayor repeatedly referenced "wise woman" in her speeches. "

Where is Sonia Sotomayor’s empathy for white men?

“Firefighters here said Thursday that court decisions so far have left bitterness in the department. Several men seeking a lieutenant's job gave up second jobs to devote themselves to studying, said their lieutenant.

"They know if they read the books and studied, it means more money in their pockets for the rest of their lives," said Lieutenant James Blakeslee, a 14-year veteran. "To Sotomayor, it didn't cost her a dime. It cost these guys a lifetime."

What to do about Nature's biological mistakes?

Cunningham was suddenly taken off ABC Radio Sunday nights where he had a 3-hour program. No explanation.
Recently two hours of that time was given to one of Don Imus's black "discoveries," the woman professor, Debra something, I think, who is telling us how wonderful it is of Obama to bring us someone like Sonia Sotomayor for SCOTUS. He not only remembers what was. He even remembers what was not.

OBAMA'S MEA DOPA (Affirmative Action POTUS?)

AMIR TAHIRI///////Obama's mea culpa vis-à-vis Islam extended beyond the short span of US history. He appropriated the guilt for the Crusades, Western colonialism and support for despotic regimes during the Cold War, and countered that with a flattering narrative about Islam's role in history, featuring outlandish claims that would astonish many Muslims.

Ignoring the role of ancient Greece, pre-Islamic Persia, China and India, he credited Islam with having invented modern medicine, algebra, navigation and even the use of pen and printing. He went so far as to trace the genesis of the Renaissance and the Enlightenment to Cairo's medieval Al Azhar theological school.

Noting that Thomas Jefferson had a copy of the Koran, Obama stated that "Islam has always been a part of American history." He also exaggerated the number of Muslim Americans at 7 million, a figure designed to promote Islam as the second-largest religious community in America after Christianity.

LIBERAL RACISM USA 2009

POWER LINE////////but there is no doubt that at present, racialism is ascendant. The odd thing is, the American people don't like it, even in its more innocuous forms. This is confirmed once more by a Quinnipiac poll that came out today:

American voters say 55 - 36 percent that affirmative action should be abolished, and disagree 71 - 19 percent with Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor's ruling in the New Haven firefighters' case, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.

Looking at specifics of affirmative action, American voters:

Oppose 70 - 25 percent giving some racial groups preference for government jobs to increase diversity. Black voters support it 49 - 45 percent while Hispanic voters are opposed 58 - 38 percent;

Oppose 74 - 21 percent giving some racial groups preference for private sector jobs to increase diversity. Voters in every racial and religious group oppose this;

Oppose 64 - 29 percent affirmative action for Hispanics in hiring, promotion and college entry. Black voters support it 59 - 30 percent while Hispanics split 47 - 48 percent;

Oppose 61 - 33 percent affirmative action for blacks in hiring, promotion and college entry. Black voters support this 69 - 26 percent, as do Hispanics 51 - 46 percent;

Oppose 62 - 32 percent affirmative action for white women in hiring, promotion and college entry. Women oppose this 58 - 35 percent but blacks support it 55 - 37 percent.

Yet the racial spoils system is stronger than ever. This is an area in which the political class has simply disregarded the preferences--and the superior moral insight--of a substantial majority of Americans.

gringodude--- I noticed that Dick "waterboardemall" Cheney recently came out in semi-support of gay marriage (or in your world,"homosexualizing" America. "Freedom is for everyone" says Dick or at least on a "state-by-state" basis. your thoughts senor?

Keep at it and you might realize that Big Dick's legal POV is identical to mine. Demands for homosexual privileges and abortion are issues for each State to decide on its own, without Big Brother's judges (and Hollywood and Soros money) sticking their snouts where they don't belong, into the people's States' rights. It's called a Constitutional Republic, as opposed to a socialist/fascist Diktat from above.

Actually it's Human Rights and should NOT be up for a state by State vote.Sorry to say but when the Govt. got into the Marriage 'Business' of giving away Tax Breaks, Property Rights and other associated 'goodies'it destroyed the Religious Nature of Marriage and Made it Secular for ALL People.

The problem for Homosexual Advocacy is to convince Americans that the secular US Constitution makes un-natural marriage possible. Most Americans don't believe that it does or should.

Since the Homosexual Advocacy more or less realizes this, it will try to use a handful of strategically placed judges to enforce its will against the will of the people.
