Maybe Monica can bring this to the attention of one of her media sidekicks, PB.)

A READER THRASHES PAT BUCHANAN

Pat, you are a COWARD! There are 10 lawsuits challenging Obama's birth certificate in State courts and one in the Supreme Court and all you can do is opine about whether Mr Hussein is a socialist or not? OF COURSE HE IS A SOCIALIST! And, according to polls, almost HALF of America supports income redistribution, so what are you trying to achieve with this article? Half the people who read it will agree with you and continue to despise Obama and the other half agree with you and continue to support Obama. He is hiding his original (long-form) birth certificate because:

a) He doesn't have one
b) It will show he is not an natural born citizen
c) It contains information he knows he can't release to the public

Any one of the above reasons can put him out of the running. Your unneeded article, only a few days before the election, wont do a thing. The cowardly judges will continue to toss out the pending lawsuits unless the deceptive Obama main stream media starts reporting this story. Of course they wont until other people in the media and politics such as yourself make this story impossible to ignore. WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT!

obamacrimes.com FRANK BLACK, NY, NY

gringoNOTE: Disagree with the last sentence. If the Obamascam "wins" on Teusday, which Harvard legal eminence, Dr. Vereira (see other gringo posts), declares would be an historic fraud on the most important document in America---the US Constitution---- Barry and his perps may think they're home free. Let them thug-jump for joy. It's still not over, Baby, barring a national surrender of the nation's foundation. Even some wimpy Republicans will hesitate to wave THAT white flag. So stay tuned. As GringoBro the Cracker Rapper said, "I think libruls gonna find out somethin'." We hear you, GringoBro.

I don't think the election is going to be that close I guess the Networks need to hype it for ratings?

If Obama loses can we blame the MSM for engineering a riot so they can then cover it again for ratings...any thoughts on that Monica? Who is setting us up, and what's their motivation?

Ree,

Thanks for posting the this ad. This is my vision of America, not the USA of KKK like some people believe. Instead of turning us into victims, John McCain invites us to take a place in history and become extraordinary.

John McCain was GREAT on SNL!!!!!

That's the John McCain I remember . . . the one who could be self-deprecating and lovable, even if you don't agree with him. It's nice to see that guy is still in there.

A vote for Nader signals genuine protest and disgust with BOTH ruling parties.

I don't think we've found any associate of Obama that is proud of America yet. Can anyone think of one?

Here is what the article that MJ posted says.

"Top Obama adviser Charles Ogletree says that America is to blame for 9/11 and that Americans are stupid. He also says that America is a racist country, and that Americans will only vote for Obama because he is half-white.

Ogletree, a Harvard law professor, will likely be the Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Civil Rights Division during the upcoming Obama Administration. He has attracted controversy in the past for plagiarism and his association with Al Sharpton. (The Washington Examiner declared him a “dim bulb”). He is a leading proponent of race-based reparations."

This is acutally a good idea. I voted for Nader in 2000 because I really didn't like either of my choices and I was impressed with some of Nader's ideas like his opposition to corporate welfare (using taxpayer money to bailout banks and insurance companies). One of my friends talked me into voting for Nader by convincing me that the Green Party would get campaign financing if he won enough votes, and I didn't want my vote to be wasted. (If you're wondering why I didn't vote for Patrick Buchanan, it was because I didn't know enough about him at the time.)

I voted for John McCain in 2000 and I'm voting for him again because I don't feel the need for a protest vote in this election. Even though I've disagreed with McCain on many issues, including the bailout, he still best represents my values and beliefs. This ad says it all:

Don't forget:

"Farrakhan met with Libyan strongman Muammar Ghaddafi during the US-Libya warm war of the 1980s. Farrakhan has also repeatedly denounced the US as evil and issued a divine death sentence on the country. Farrakhan has also lauded Barack Obama’s candidacy for president."

A thought about fairness in the media :

What is seldom said, is that the traditional conservatives do not court
public opinion and so they have seldom had recourse to the press, unless
they were reading a press statement, possibly hoping to get off of impending
charges. Where are the lobbyists, bankers, rich oilmen? Are they talking to
the press? Even Dick Cheney hates talking to the public, and would rather not
participate.

What the left has done, is provide "balanced news" in the possibly vain hope
that some conservatives (non-media people) might actually talk to the press.
Until they show up, I guess we will be merely entertained.

I don't think Governor Palin is crashing because she is still drawing the crowds and she is campaigning everywhere. Joe Biden is getting "pass after pass" for his gaffes.

If anyone screwed up this campaign, it is McCain, not Governor Palin. Governor Palin is a tough, competitor and she has risen to the challenge in a very tough and biased environment. The "Obamamania media" would have tried to trip up any other VP pick. As Tina Fey pointed out, whether McCain wins or loses, Governor Palin will do just fine.

This is a really an unusual year. Who could believe that we might be electing a President who spent 20 years, listening to Reverend Wright's inspiring sermons? Or someone who associates with people like Tony Resko, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn? And no one cares.

Patrick Buchanan said that the Republicans should have made more of an issue Bill Ayers and Reverend Wright, but I'm not sure about that. McCain's numbers were great until the bailout, and people blame Republicans for the bad economy. Why they don't have problems with Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and the "do nothing Congress" is beyond me?

People are either getting most of their information from the unbiased mainstream media or are succumbing to the celebrity hype. Of course, we also have the kool-aid drinkers like Fred will refuses to listen to any form of logic or reason.

Table in The Wall Street Journal showing mild correlation between change in housing prices vs. McCain's lead by state. The contrary is negative change favors Obama. This is normal: when the economy goes south, the party out of power is favored.

State-by-State Polls Compared to Economic Indicators:

http://blogs.wsj.com/economics/2008/11/01/state-by-state-polls-compared-to-economic-indicators/

Notice battleground states: FL, PA, CO, OH, VA. The exception may be NC with a positive increase in home prices, but Obama in the lead.

While it is valid to indicate that raising taxes in general and Obama's plan specifically will prolong the recession, McCain can use these data to run ads in those states linking voters' future home prices directly to Obama-Pelosi economics*. (The underlying theory is that home prices lag economic growth, which in turn is directly affected by savings and investment, which the Obama plan inherently will "disincentivize" [I wish there were a better English word]).

* Or perhaps Conservative radio and TV hosts can talk about this Monday and Tuesday.

Cheers,

"Bold is best in the effort to counter recession":

http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/903d7abe-a8df-11dd-a19a-000077b07658.html

He calls for massive public works projects [in the UK] and calls tax cuts "inefficient" to create jobs. He also wants a more progressive tax system aimed at redressing "imbalance" (read: tax the rich). Sound like Obama-Pelosi-Reid-Frank? The left is the left is the left, here and abroad.

We haven't heard a compelling defense of the free market, free trade, or supply side economics from any major politician in this election, except perhaps Newt Gingrich. Yet it was clearly the left's fiscal and regulatory policies (assisted by a confused Republican administration and an overly-confident Fed chairman Greenspan) which caused this crisis.

A vigorous defense -- rather, promotion -- of Conservative economic principles will be even more necessary after Tuesday.

The ONLY way McCain loses this race is if the media, operating as a full-fledged wing of the Obama campaign, breeds enough Eeyores amongst you to keep enough people home for Obama to squeak out wins. Hillary Clinton should have won Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Indiana, by larger margins that she did. Ohio should have been a 13-point win, Pennsylvania should have been a 12-point win, and Indiana should have been a 9-point win. Eeyores staying home, saying, “Oh bother, TV say me stay home, me sad, need dydee changed!” is what cost Hillary those extra points.

Franks, Dodd et al did more than "do nothing". They actively protected and promoted the sub-prime mortgage mess, which is a the very root of the economic meltdown which has brought the world's economy to a recession.

Democratic leaders in Congress looked straight into the camera and LIED when they said that the meltdown and need for a $700 billion bailout was a direct result of George W. Bush and failed Republican Party policies. The Democrats don't care what happens to America or the American people. All they care about is promoting the interests of the Democratic party.
