Thanks for the over-dramatic article, but the cooperation and negotiation is, I suspect, already happening behind the scenes. I still predict that Clinton will be offered the #2 spot and will accept it.

I'm still not completely comfortable with Obama, but, man, he can work a room.

The Obamas promised their daughters a dog if he won - well they better watch out. Remember when Kathleen Willey claimed the Clintons killed her cat when she went public with her accusations of assault? Obama winning is an even BIGGER assault in the eyes of the Clintons -- make sure that dog gets a tracking chip, because it's heading for Chappaqua (but Bill likes dogs so he'll be well taken care of).

What the O-man needs, is some advice from Karl Rove!

[Note: Here again is one of the Gringo Advisory Board's newest members, a self-admitted girly-man with a case of Venus envy.]

Monica, you know how I love what you do. I generally support what gringoman calls 'Monica Media.' And I'm not saying that Hillary is a Greek goddess born from the forehead of Zeus Clinton. We know the gal has got her imperfections and limitations. The boys do too, don't they?

The way that you dice-and-slice this icon of the liberals (many of whom are sensitive men who venerate her), and how even gringoman calls her "The Yale Medusa"....is it necessary?

Monica, have you noted the feelings of millions of American women? Do you read the blogs, where they bare their very bosoms over a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon? Where they cry out for justice, for equality, for whatever it is they feel they don't have---except a man? Where they try not to reach into the drawer for what will help them through the night? Do you feel their....whatever it is?

Monica, I don't mean just the shrieking yentas and the Bolshevik Bellas and the Nellie Nutcrackers. These are surely no more than 50%.

Monica, the misogyny is tormenting these women. They see it everywhere in this society. They see the MSM dissing their Pants-suit Progressive. They see Obama (who gringoman, as you may know, calls The New Slick)playing the wretched gender card against their Hilly, calling her "likeable enough" etc.

Monica, you're a bright lady. Fabulous hair and things. I can see what liberals are afraid of. (Remember, though, I've been called a liberal, and I'm not afraid.)

But aren't you, in piling on "the girl friend," unwittingly playing into the hands of Misognyny, Inc? Are you not placating the knuckle draggers? These women, raising their fists in anger, many of them swearing like a Tugboat Teresa in a high-rise, might think so. And they're out there, Monica. Believe me.

Monica, just a little addendum, point of clarification, if you don't mind, to my remarks above.

The question of Misogyny, Inc. Do you understand how this burns in the breasts of Hillary's devoted millions?

Yes, it can be debated. Is this misogyny real, or perceived? And what exactly do these devotees mean by it?
Is it an exact parallel to racism? Can only a woman understand it, just as the black tell us that only a black can understand racism?

Can we escape the politics for a minute and do real life as it is lived and felt?

Question:

Monica, in this burning question of misogyny, do you stand with the alleged victims or the alleged perpetrators?

You are welcome to answer at your convenience.

Hold on it isn't about a woman reaching the zenith of political power in this country, it is about this WOMAN! There are 72 million Democrats that is according to wikipedia btw Obama and Clinton they got 35 million votes btw them mostly because the primary dragged on forever not because as the MSM likes to spin it, there was a stellar Democrat turn out...of those 35 million votes guess what they had Independents voting too...so come November which "Democrats" are going to go to the Polls and are they going to vote angry? The Dem party 33% Conservative 21% disadvantaged aka minorities, 45% Liberals with in this Liberal's percentage is the "Progressives" who don't like to be called Liberals even if they get lumped in with them, they are the ones leading this Democrat Party...they are not the majority so why are they in charge Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Ried ect..the DNC is split down the middle and the above Senators have the distinction of belonging to one of the lowest rated Congresses in History. Bill O'Reilly always uses the term far left but he is never specific about just who the term far left applies to, the far left in my book is not Liberals it is Progressives. The 33% that identify Conservative Dems those are the Blue Dog Dems they are the ones who won the majority of seats in the 2006 election also the so called Reagan Democrats are they going to vote Obama? They had been voting for Hillary Clinton in the primary. McCain does very well among Independents. 46 million of Americans registered Independents, that and the Reagan Democrats is a big chunk of the voting electorate. 55 million registered Republicans. Occasionally I drop in on the enemy to see what they are up to, (this blog included). Today, I tuned into Boston's 96.9/WTKK, (the emphasis on the KK), and listened to the likes of Michael Graham and Jay Severin, bellowing how the Democrats are divided and falling apart. It's a riot. The Republicans are drowning in their own blood, sweat and tears and screaming with their dying breath that the Dems are coming apart at the seams.
It's a screech!

If you think for one single second that the women who are behind Hillary Clinton will, out of spite, give up their fight for women's rights that they have pursued diligently and ferociously for years and vote for John McInane, you must have your head up your whatever. It will NEVER happen.

I'm out of practice.

Jack --

I do know women who are so concerned about Obama's lack of experience and whose priority is security who say they are now going to support McCain. That may not be the majority of women, but they are out there.
