Boomer and Bam Bam. Won't that be interesting.

I'd rather they just hired Imus back... it was silly to fire him. The only reason I'd want to listen to you, is if he's interviewing you. Otherwise you have nothing to say.

But glad you see you're taking full advantage of Imus' misfortune... how typical of you.

You need to wear Don Imus' cowboy hat :-)

Charlie On the Pennsylvania Turnpike

No one is better qualified to host the memorial than you are, Monica. I recently watched (again) the interview you had with Bernard; you do (and did) 'get' the show, which makes you unique amongst your broadcast peers.

The funny thing about this: the days you host this show will be the first time MSNBC had any real ratings in that spot since they cut Imus off. They're stuck: they dare not put up a morning show that rivals TODAY -- indeed, it has its own rating battles to fight -- and so they won't let someone like yourself host a program that isn't a 'Best of Imus' type program. Imus In The Morning was the AntiToday show, and that's why it did so well for MSNBC.

MSBNC will either have to find someone with the combination of sophomoric humor AND cutting political discussion (paging Don Imus...) or basically resign themselves to having no content and no ratings.

I'll be listening in the car, and TiVoing at home!

"...the Imus MEMORIAL Morning Drive-Time"? Monica, is this being broadcast from a funeral parlor? Memorial? The I-man hasn't been cremated yet, has he, by "Satan"?

BTW, for the hordes now suffering from Imus-deficit reflux, will you be playing any I-tapes? Or has that Rodham-Clinton proxy-creature, the Reverend Tawana Sharpton, ordered the advertiser suits to tell the weasel suits at CBS that I-tapes are a no-no?

Caveat: This is a little off-topic, but since it's about a brave American woman, I trust that another brave American woman won't object......

From gringovision: If you want to know how a woman with a background in the American saga and nuclear physics is responding to vicious cyber-stalking against the Internet presence of outspoken women, including hers---whether these women dare to address sex crime, Islamofascism or just innovative software---and what she's now packing---don't even think about not reading Nancy K. Mathis' DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.

I thought you and Boomer did a real nice job this week on Imus' old slot. Looking at the lineup for next week, I wish you 2 would come back and do it again. I always enjoy your show, and thought it is even better when you are teamed with someone a little less on the Bush Neo/Con bandwagon (I am a fan, but once in a while think you need someone the reign that side of you in a just a little), and thought Boomer filled that role surprisingly well. I hope this team will get together again at some point.
