Have you been naughty or nice? You'll soon find out! How close is Santa Claus to your home? The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has a day job: monitoring American and Canadian airspace for unauthorized airborne objects. But on Christmas Eve, they watch an airborne object that is most certainly authorized: Santa.
NORAD tracks him as he travels around the world. They show where he's been, where he is at this very moment, and where he's going next.
To track Santa around the globe, check out NORAD:

And on Twitter:Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Monica.

Santa is looking around to see who needs presents - amazingly, China has many empty houses with no one in them for presents, but .... back in the USA, the docks are brimming with stuff for presents, but it is just stacked up and the kids have few gifts, so he is going to give his presents to US children.

Besides, Santa is afraid of patriot missiles in China.

Gringoman, FWIW, I was listening to Bernard McGirk this afternoon (he was sitting in for Hannity) and he seems to think Newt has too much baggage to make it though the gauntlet Obama has in wait for him. If I heard Bernard correctly, he thinks Romney has a better chance to beat Obama in the general. He made a pretty good common sence case for Ronmey at that.
Posted by: ex-uh | December 22, 2011 at 08:31 PM
Ex-uh,
I'm aware of that. El Bernardo is following his boss Imus, in dissing Newt and going with Mitt as "more electable."
Bernard often agrees with me, especially when he tries to get out from under The West Side Cowboy. On Mitt Romney I have to leave Bernard to Imus, who signs Bernard's paychecks. Bernard has a family to feed. His boss Imus will back Romney, unless Romney's million dollar attack ads, GOP Central, Libworld, Wall Street, the Unions, United Bath Houses and the Obamasuck Media fail to stop Newt,

“Around the middle of May I’ll be able to do whatever I want and I could run as an independent,” Trump said in a web video he record. “If the Republicans pick the wrong person I would, in fact, seriously consider running.”
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/12/donald-trump-bolts-republican-party-eyeing-other-2012-options/
gringoNOTE: Months ago I predicted that Trump would run. I now doubt it. What, then, is this noise? I believe it's a message to the RINOsaurs. He's cajoling, warning, with a border-line threat. He's telling them that Romney (who he once described as a relatively 'small businessman') is a no-no. He's telling them not to do it. He's telling them not to anoint Willard. He's too smart to say this in public. Trump has other ways of getting his message across.

NIALL FERGUSSON, brilliant professor at Harvard///...I just read the transcripts of some lectures [Newt Gingrich] gave in the 1990s on “Renewing American Civilization.” They positively fizz with historical insights and brilliant brain waves. They make the case against big government as vividly as anything you’ll ever read.

You know, I finally figured out that no matter how wrong the other party was, the more I accused them personally the more I sounded like the Sanhedrin and Pilate at the trial of Christ.
And that even SOUNDING like them tends to negate everything else you have to say about anything. Even if you're right.
And ESPECIALLY if you're dead wrong.
Happy Holidays. Happy WWIII. You earned it.

Gringoman, you're making it sound as if the neut is actually an outsider. I for one consider him to be the poster boy insider. If the GOP is pushing Romney this might be due to their considering him a better candidate for the general.
Which doesn't mean that Romney is not an insider himself. of course he is.
As for the lamestream, I think they'd prefer the neut to take on the Bama so they can do a McCain on him.
Finally, if Imus likes Romney, this doesn't necessarily make Mittens any worse than he already is.
Merry Christmas!

It has now become evident the American people are NOT as conservative as the pundits tell us they are. At any rate I've always said the American people, on balance, are solidly left=of=center. I'd estimate only 20% are genuinely conservative. My proof is can be observed in what is unfolding in the Republican primaries and caucuses. All indications are the vast majority of Goopers prefer liberals such as Romney and Gingrich over true, solid, Reaganesque, conservatives such as Michele Bachmann.
Dr.David Yeagley agrees.
--
Michele Bachmann: The Ideal Candidate
by David Yeagley · January 1, 2012 ·
Michele Bachmann, 55, is an ideal candidate. Not that she should be expected to win the office of the President of the United States, nor even the nomination of the Republican Party, but, it so happens that she represents all the American fundamental, conservative values that patriots claim to hold dear. For this reason, The Bad Eagle Award for American Patriotism is given to Michele Bachmann.
Bachmann is only the fifth recipient of this special award, the first (September, 2008) being Ann Coulter, famous conservative commentator and author; the second (December, 2008), Amil Imani, a Persian (Iranian) American who relentlessly resists the invasion of Islam into the Western world; the third (February, 2009), Charlie Meadows, a native Oklahoman who has done more than any single individual to effectively advocate conservative values in the state; the fourth (May, 2010), Randy Brogdon, a former Oklahoma state senator and Republican candidate for governor. Bachmann has shown a devotion and consistency together with a patriotism and conservatism which put her foremost in the country in American idealism and national values.
