James Carville has resurfaced with another strategic warning to Barack Obama. You'll recall that a few months ago, Carville let loose about the President's political problems. He fumed that Obama should "fire everybody," bring in a new team, shake things up.
Today, he issued a new warning on the Scott Hennen radio show:
"Let me repeat. Everything worries me in this environment. Nobody's gotten elected with these kinds of numbers. So, I'm worried in the general election. I profoundly admit that."
He went on to bash the GOP presidential field, but that wasn't the point of his appearance. Carville doesn't just flap his lips willy-nilly. His comments are always thought out and I'm sure, cleared first by Bill Clinton. Speaking of Bubba, recall that he's been hitting Obama publicly over the past few months as well, most recently about the mistake of raising taxes in an economic downturn.
So why did Carville issue this new flare?
First, while Carville is a committed Democrat, he's also a Clinton loyalist. Part of this is the old "see, we told you so!" coming from the Clinton crowd.
Second, this is to try to get the base moving.
The third and perhaps biggest element of this is that Carville, Clinton and that gang represent a more traditional kind of Democrat. They were pragmatists. Obama is a totally different brand of Democrat. He's a pure ideologue who has not and will not change course the way Clinton did to win re-election. Obama IS the far-left, and although his policies have wreaked havoc and are threatening his re-elect, he will not change. That's what Carville is really pointing to, and that's something none of them---not even the Great Master, Bill, or the Great Magician, Carville---can change.
But of course, Obama will not change. He cannot change. This is who is is. This is what he does. This is what he believes.

Lick you

There is more in common between Obama and Wilson, than with Clinton/Carville. Take note of foreign policy, monetary policy, economic policy, and social policy. Obama is more Progressive than Democrat. However, the Republicans need to stay away from the GHW & GW Bush and Nixon models -- which some of the candidates are beginning to look like. Your comments, Monica?
Posted by: JET457 | October 26, 2011 at 11:43 AM
I guess I'll post a comment here for the first time. The first and only time. The reason I never want to post here is that you can never tell who wrote which comment, the guy above or the guy below.
Monica Crowley exaggerates Carville's influence; he simply doesn't have that much influence anymore. And the reason is that Hilary is totally out of the picture with regard to 2012. It is his closeness to the Clintons that gave him influence, but Hillary has now faded.
Obama is not a pure ideologue at all. You don't get to the White House by being an idealist. He is very much a pragmatist. He goes with the flow and he will do whatever he needs to do to remain viable in 2012.
Pure ideologues are hard to come by. But if there exists one out there, it is Monica Crowley, whose hatred for a certain minority knows no bounds. While she readily flirts with every Tom, Dick, and Harry on Twitter, she wouldn't respond to me on Twitter when I wished her a happy birthday.
It hurts when a woman ignores you. It hurts more when she ignores you but is so outgoing with complete strangers. And it hurts the most when her reasons for ignoring you are purely ideological. It is such pure ideologues who teach the most painful lessons in life.

"Obama IS the far-left," - Monica Crowley
You can say it until your blue in the face, Pumpkin; that doesn't make it true.
Of course, I think you continuing to say it when it never has been true, just might MAKE it come true. Even moles have feelings. Unrequited love's a drag, and the O man's love for the GOP has been MOST unrequited. Hell hath no fury...
Oh. And thanks for saying the "C" word. My hero and ideal. Only I have more hair. Say "Hi" to Matalin!

CARA MIA, how did we get on exactly the same wave length? I mean re Carville and Obammy. As for Carville and Cain, I understand. You can't go there. It complicates the subtle Romney Push. All is forgiven---except the Freak Show of "conservative" Monicamemo's prog troll trash.
//////CARVILLE GLOOMY OVER BAMMY
In radio interview with Scott Hennen, the Ragin' Cajun says the President needs to shake up his economic team, fears the fiscal crisis could spell trouble for Obama in 2012.
Carville: "Everything worries me in this environment. Nobody's gotten elected with these kinds of numbers. So, I'm worried in the general election."
Also dismisses Cain as a serious candidate: "Herman Cain is not going to be the president of anything.... Herman Cain is a salesman."
gringoNOTE: Good on Carville. He's saying about Cain what I've been saying about Cain for 10 days. Wonder how long it will take the Cain-excited conservatives to catch on.

Buck,
Do you think the Cain mainia is still alive enough to win Iowa Primary? If it does, looks to me like Team Romney will be right on track for anointment, after Cain shows his hand in Primary Poker. If and when Cain throws in with Romney---whether for VP slot or other "goodies" the G.O.P. establishment can shower him with, the "conservatives" will realize they've been snookered, but sorry, folks, too late now to complain about the "tell it like it is" Cain.
And I'm not even blaming Cain. He's using his talents to promote himself in life. Unlike a Rev Sharpton, he's not getting people killed and committing outright fraud and professional race-baiting to do it.
What about the voters who would have gotten snookered? Are they not accountable? Look, even Iowans who spend all day in the corn fields must have an hour here and there for Internet where they can find out a lot about what's really going on, especially if they learned how to filter out the garbage and troll trash.
Point: if and when Cain serves G.O.P. Central by taking out Romney's conservative opposition (and I think it's 'when,' not 'if') won't these conservatives
deserve being snookered and saddled with what they thought they'd never settle for---Mitt Obamneycare, Libworld's choice for the G.O.P. ticket? Is stupidity or ignorance an excuse? We don't excuse a Troll Dumbo, so how excuse the corn folks, even if the latter, unlike troll trash, are basically decent?

TRUMP ON OBAMA'S 'VICTORY'
Donald Trump says the removal and killing of Libyan despot Moammar Gadhafi will result in “disaster” because “at least he had control of his weapons,” and under new leadership the United States won’t have any idea whose fingers are on the triggers. The real estate mogul also told Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren Tuesday he still questions whether President Barack Obama’s birth certificate is “real.”

Buck,
Perry still looks to me like the best hope for a conservative POTUS in 2012. I ask the antis, "If not Perry, who?" Crickets. Nobody can give me an answer. I mean a PLAUSIBLE answer. a VIABLE answer. They can't do it. All they can do is mention a fave, who clearly is not viable. Which is why they are in great danger of being saddled and rode by Mitt Obamneycare---whether they like it or not. If they don't snap out of it, for 2012 their choice will be either Obama or White Obama. That in itself would almost guarantee that Obamneycare will NOT be repealed. Under Perry it MIGHT be repealed. I'd trust him far more than the great flip-flopper. Under Obama or Romney, repeal is unlikely. Is Perry a 100% certainty to follow through? Maybe not, but I go by the odds. The odds say that nobody flips like Romney does.
That said, I'm not giving Perry a free pass. I still have a few questions about him, including re Islam. Yes, the "nativists" hitting him on the border leave me cold, since practically none of them have lived with a 1200 mile border, with DC not doing its job. Like libs, they sit far away, comfortable in their easy chairs, while parroting Michael Savage slogans. They don't know, and don't want to know how to handle it realistically and get results.
But Perry has to rev up his campaign, especially nationally. Can't just say "Look at Texas," since most don't really know Texas and can't really identify with it. That's why he slumped so badly in debates. He seemed to think that what's obvious in Texas would be obvious to everyone else around the country. Well, it ain't. He's got to step it up nationally, while they're trying to move up the primaries and take him out ASAP for Romney. And yes, looks like he knows it too and is moving. The new Flat Tax roll-out. His new additions to campaign, with some highly experienced hard-nose talent that can face down even Chicago gangland and the bolsheviks. Will it be enough for a come-back before GOP Central's Romney and Cain game can shut everything down and anoint Romney?
We shall see. I say it depends largely on Perry. He's never lost a campaign in Texas. Can he do nationally what he's done in Texas? Can Team Romneycare, Club Gooper, the Union Commissars and the Obamasuck Media stop him?
We shall see, won't we?

America, Take The Car Keys From obama
The current White House occupant just loves to use the old “Republicans drove the economy into a ditch” analogy. Clever, memorable, and completely false. The truth is, thanks to the effects of current as well as the cumulative effects of ”progressive” economic and social engineering policies, America’s economy is on a steep downgrade, tearing along at full speed without any brakes. At the end is a total smash-up.
While it’s tempting to launch into an extended point by point dissertation dispelling the steady stream of sewage spewing forth from the oral orifice of the pathological liar in thief, you probably don’t have 24 hours or more to devote to that endeavor. For a quick, comprehensive review of the “progressive” policies which led to the economic crisis of 2008, try here:
http://www.freedomworks.org/crisis
For emperor less than zero to constantly blame his political opposition for the state of America’s economy is, to put it politely, disingenuous. For him to continue erecting straw man arguments against them shows that the facts are not on his side. Does anyone with but one funtioning brain cell really buy it when he flatly states that his opposition wants dirty air, dirty water, and a wreckless laisse faire economy where heartless corporate villians and ruthless billionaires chew up the proletariat and spit them out? What does he think this is, Upton Sinclair’s “The Jungle”?
Does he have such high disregard for the perceptive intelligence of America’s electorate that he expects them to believe people don’t care about the living conditions bequeathed by them upon their own children? This is more than throwing political red meat to a cheering crowd of recent Marxist converts….I mean college students. This is, with malice of forethought, intentional misrepresentation of the views of his opponents in order to avoid discussing how and why his policies are abjectly failing.
What are the risks to America when one political Party has been co-opted by Marxist extremists who not only lie through their teeth at every available opportunity, but completely disregards one of the basic constructs of our Republic; protection of the minority’s voice?
It goes beyond important. It exceeds crucial. It’s more urgent than critical, key or pivotal. Even vital falls short of describing the need to remove the “progressive” cancer devouring America’s body politic and destroying her economy, security and moral fabric. The 2012 election is going to decide America’s direction for decades to come. Are you going to stand up for America, or throw her under the bus?
America, take the car keys from obama.

Here's out it is, and how it will be IF NOTHING MAJOR CHANGES. TWO options.
OPTION ONE:
ROMNEY/CHRISTIE against
OBAMA/BIDEN
ROMNEY WINS IN A SQUEEZE; 1-2%
Congress remains the same
OPTION TWO:
ROMNEY/CHRISTIE
AGAINST
OBAMA/CLINTON
OBAMA WINS by 10%, PLUS DNC regains both houses of Congress.
And this time, it's NOT mere wishful thinking.
Talking popular vote pecentages.
Any other GOP candidate/combo loses by 25 (yes, that's TWENTY FIVE!!) PERCENT.
Because ALL voter ID obstruction passed by the GOP WILL BE OVERTURNED BY THE ELECTION.
WATCH.
Posted by: xbjllb | October 26, 2011 at 07:06 PM
The REAL winners in next years election?
The 99%.
The REAL losers?
The 1% and their whores.
Posted by: xbjllb | October 26, 2011 at 07:07 PM
Although, ACCORDING TO ALL HISTORICAL RECORDS, WHICH ARE ABSOLUTE:
WHEN THE 99% WINS, the 1% WINS ALSO.
The rich have consistently done better under DNC regimes BECAUSE THE MIDDLE CLASS AND POOR have consistently done better AND HAVE MORE MONEY TO SPEND BUYING CORPORATIONS' CRAP.
What changed? Corporations no longer CARE whether AMERICANS can buy their crap or not.
CORPORATE MULTINATIONALISM is the enemy.
CORPORATE MULTINATIONALISM MUST END or it will DESTROY what is LEFT OF AMERICA.
Posted by: xbjllb | October 26, 2011 at 07:11 PM
SO, to correct an earlier post:
THE ONLY LOSERS DURING DEMOCRATIC REGIMES ARE THE 1%'s WHORES.
The 1% actually do BETTER than they do during GOP REGIMES.
And that's historical statistics. Numbers. Numbers don't lie.
Posted by: xbjllb | October 26, 2011 at 07:13 PM
And, in actuality, EVEN THE 1%'s WHORES do better during Democratic regimes, BECAUSE THE 1% PAY THEM MORE TO TRY AND TURN IT AROUND to a regime where THEY WILL DO WORSE.
Could the 1% be any more moronic?

Buck, the "conventional wisdom" is that Romney would be the strongest GOP against Obama. I take that to be a dead give-away that they fear Perry more. Yes, Romney has developed into a pretty smooth debater, with all that experience, but his "plastic man" keeps showing through the Corporate Charley couture, and most people notice. Perry even got him to lose his cool, for the first time, in last debate. Perry would have plenty of time to get ready for Barry in the Big Debate. He probably doesn't even mind how LIbworld portrays him as "dumb." He knows that between him and Obama, only one of them has released his school records. Has Obama ever done anything that takes the intelligence and competence to fly a C-130 around the world? Perry also knows that he's never lost an election (I think he's been in seven) and the reasons would become increasingly clear as the campaign unfolds, regardless of debates. This is why the Romneycare and RINOS would prefer to fast-track the primaries now, before Perry could come roaring back. Even the low-information electorate will begin to realize that the RINOs and Karl Rove are going all out for Romney, not Perry.
You can be sure that the prog troll trash wants GOP to run Romney, the paler version of Obama.

Let the light of day flash on dark corners they want to remain dark.....whether or not you, I or anybody thinks it has relevance or does not have relevance to USA 2011.
//////The authors recall the 1920s post WW1 Weimar Republic, the near starvation and wild currency fluctuations in Germany against the backdrop of the sex and drug “Cabaret” scene of Europe and Gay Berlin. They point to Berlin’s world famous coterie of Bohemian artists, sadosexual transvestites, lesbians and homosexual nightclubs and baths, as well as the rampant control of Berlin by pornographers, organized crime and drug dealers. In this milieu, reports Elson in Time-Life Books, Prelude to War,[4] thousands of prostitutes walked Berlin’s city streets half nude, dressed as “dominatrixes” and school girls, while transvestites and “powered and rouged young men” everywhere sold their wares to financiers and military men alike.
The famous German Jewish homosexual sex “scientist," Magnus Hirshfeld, reported that roughly 20,000 boys and youths[5] were prostituted to Germany’s flourishing “gay” population. (The British, qua-American homosexual icon, Christopher Isherwood blissfully said of Berlin’s 1920’s boy brothels, “Berlin is for boys...The German Boy....the Blond”).[6]

"THE GAIETY OF GERMANY" - Gringowhore
So tell us, Gringowhore... do you masturbate BEFORE cutting and pasting these homo-obsessive posts, AFTER, BOTH, or DURING.
No need to answer, I have no desire to know either way.
It's just a rhetorical question that points out your deepest motivations.
And your amazing proficiency at ONE-HANDED TYPING.

When you die of lung cancer, be sure to post it here.
I want to be able to piss on your grave and pray for all the innocent people you poisoned along the way.

RE: LAST NIGHT IN OAKLAND
FINAL SCORE:
The People/99%: 1,000
The Pigs: -10,000
The 1%: -1,000,000
Oh, And anyone thinking the returning troops are going to protect the 1% and side with the Pigs is sorely mistaken.
The Pigs took their first casualty last night, and he IS a returned Iraq war veteran. War apparently has been declared, with the sides already CLEARLY drawn.
Once again, there can be NO MORE CURRENT PERFECT EXAMPLE of ULTIMATE EVIL BACKFIRING 100%.
Looks like McLuhan was right: THE REVOLUTION WILL BE TELEVISED AFTER ALL.

It's been nearly 30 years since they earned the name.
Last night was a sorry day in US history.

The current White House occupant just loves to use the old “Republicans drove the economy into a ditch” analogy--MJFELL
True, factual and completely correct.
Bush borrowed from China, and created a huge debt.
If, a person looks at history. they would find it's THE REPUBLICANS and NOT the Democrats who have the worse history when it comes to the economy.
