The economic suicide pact continues, as people continue to commit to unfair and unsavory trade that is gutting the heart of western civilization, by supporting unbridled trade with a slave economy. As the banks sink, and people are thrown out of work, when will this stop?
Gore is a laughing stock, Bernanke is being exposed as a Fed magician, and Clinton is exposed for blindly supporting globalism at any cost although his promises of revolution in China ended in Tienanmen Square long ago.
There is a sense of a paradigm shift in the offing, and a crumbling of the blind plunge into "New World Order".

You're right...Calling Obama a Socialist is an insult to Socialists everywhere. He is a bought-and-paid-for Puppet of George Soros, SEIU, and the ruling Plutocrats. He is a combination of a more corrupt Bush and an even weaker Carter.
He shamelessly panders to each Demorat group as he moves in to try and convince them that he will fulfill their agenda next time around. Only stooges need apply.
Meanwhile, in the real world, unemplyment is up by another 400,000 this week alone and the DOW is in freefall at -383 (and counting).

The top 5% of the people have 85% of the income and real estate.
Conservatives NEVER tell you that when they say that they pay most of the income taxes. They can't think that far.
Post office will let 35,000 workers go. Sure the Conservatives will blame Obama for that one.
They always say how tax hikes on the rich hurts the economy and jobs.
But, leave out the facts that when taxes were much higher, even at 92%, people were hired, the rich got richer and people invested.
Infact, unemployment was lower, the economy did better as well.
So, cutting taxes only helps the rich, no one else.
The general public has been fed that lie so long, they believe it.
Taxes compared to GDP are as low as it's been since 1950.
Posted by: Jay | September 22, 2011 at 12:38 PM
It is true that a large portion on the bottom, numbers are all over the place, pay ZERO income taxes.
Because of tax laws helping people with much lower incomes. The laws cancel all the taxes that they would have to pay. From the TAX Policy CEnter.
But, show me just one family of 4 making $65,000 that has to pay taxes.Who ould love to change their situation to where they were making $18,000. Just so they wouldn't have to pay any taxes?
All people pay taxes of some kind. To many, it's payroll taxes.
And, almost 2000 millionaires ALSO PAID ZERO INCOME TAXES!
ONCE AGAIN, THE TOP WAGE EARNERS PAY MOST OF THE TAXES BECAUSE THEY HOLD MOST OF THE INCOME! 85%

Guess, it's because I just point out the facts taht Conservatives are no better than anyone else.
That they have caused much of the problems that the country has had.
As, Truman said, "If, you want to live like a Republican, then, vote Democratic."
The Conservatives response when they hear the truth about themselves?
See no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil!
And, my comments about criticizing conservatives?
They do the same to liberals.

It's also funny that Madison posted his comment in the other thread, after I stated that the GOP is trying their best to change voting laws that makes it harder for groups that normally vote Democratic to do so, in 2012. Early voters, new voters, young, etc.
Madison, the secret is that I looked it up. Sure you can learn how to do that as well!

The best way to hold a good election in 2012 is to do it without Obama. If there is really a Democrat party left and not just the same gang that operated the Bush and Obama presidencies, they will push him out. There is no attractive Democrat replacement, but there are some interesting possibilities in Donald Trump and Sarah Palin. Yes, they are nominally Republican, but like Ronald Reagan they can be flexible when opportunity to win arises. Like him they could say the party left them. They certainly have egos big enough and some basic acting ability. Trump especially understands corporate states are becoming more important than nation states and how to wage corporate warfare. Al Qaeda is not the only corporate state committing acts of war against the United States. Palin might be a bit of a loose cannon, but we've endured worse. Best case she might see the benefit of a Trump/Palin ticket. She's young enough to wait for 2020 and she'd be a sure thing after eight years of Trump. No way Republicans would nominate either, but the Dems might see them as a life line.

If calling Obama a "socialist" is unfair or inaccurate, those in disagreement can do what few untutored Americanos ever do---peek at the historical record. It's out there. It's available to anybody, even a dumbed=down Americano, including the apparatchiks of socialism themselves, and their self-righteous weasels.
Even lying weasels must admit that Class War, proletarian uprisings, bashing the "bourgeoisie" etc (Da Rich etc)often including atheism dominating the state over religion ad Marxicum, is basic socialism.
Even lying weasels must concede that Barack Obama was spawned by two atheistic socialists.
Even lying weasels must concede that Benito Mussolini spent his entire formative years as a socialist agitator and Class War specialist.
Even lying weasels must concede that Barack Obama also cronies and sucks millions out of billionaires and corporate Charleys, which the Marxistas call "class collaboration." in addition to his union slush fund allies (which is standard Communism, approved by Karl Marx,)
Even lying weasels must concede that Benito Mussolini, later in life, also practiced "class collaboration," although he was a little more honest and up front about it, declaring an end to "class warfare."
Even lying weasels must concede that the socialist Benito Mussolini became what I term 'the Godfather of Fascism.'
Ergo, if anyone demurs on "socialist" for Obama, here's what they can do: Don't like 'socialist'? Fine. How about daring to look at the life of a socialist who embodied everything on today's US agenda? It might not bite. Not to worry. Il Duce the former socialist agitator is dead now. Don't like "socialist" for Obama? OK. Even Mussolini finally ditched "socialist" for himself, at around age 40. Obama? How about 'proto-fascist' complete with ACORN gangbangers and union thugs? 'Proto' because, while he stills sucks from the rich, Barry still can't give up the Class War cliches. He thinks he needs them to get re-elected. "Tax Da Rich" still impresses the dumb-dumbs (even though no less than Bubba Clinton just rained on it, going over Barry's calcified head.)

CIS Demonstrates: Perry A Disaster For Native-Born Texan Workers
By Patrick Cleburne on September 22, 2011
Our friends at the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) really think Rick Perry is bad news on immigration policy. First we had Mark Krikorian risking his Immigration “Beard” status at NRO to explicitly denounce Perry as an Amnesty supporter, then his colleague Ronald Mortensen exhaustively demonstrated Mitt Romney’s superiority to Perry on immigration issues. Now Steve Camarota has come up with Who Benefited from Job Growth In Texas?
•Of jobs created in Texas since 2007, 81 percent were taken by newly arrived immigrant workers (legal and illegal)…
•Of newly arrived immigrants who took a job in Texas, 93 percent were not U.S. citizens. Thus government data show that more than three-fourths of net job growth in Texas were taken by newly arrived non-citizens (legal and illegal)… even though natives made up most of the growth in potential workers, most of the job growth went to immigrants
•
Of newly arrived immigrants who took jobs in Texas since 2007, we estimate that 50 percent (113,000) were illegal immigrants. Thus, about 40 percent of all the job growth in Texas since 2007 went to newly arrived illegal immigrants and 40 percent went to newly arrived legal immigrants.
This of course is consistent with Ed Rubenstein’s consistent findings about immigrants winning the lion’s share of recent American job growth. Presumably this is because they are cheaper (especially if off the books).
Why Governor Perry deserves much credit for recent Texas comparative prosperity escapes me – it is clearly oil and more particularly oil-tool driven (the Houston area’s dominance in the world oil tool business is amazing). But his careless attitude to the immigration inundation of the state does have something to do with lack of wage growth as distinct from employment growth in the Texas, as David Frum has said. See

DJ, this is what I know about West Texas mechanist shops dedicated to the oil fields & general machining, if you are angelo you are not unemployed......I believe the same applies to the guys working the wells..........an old timer (in the machinist trade) told me, the unemployment rate there, around 5% is because of those who don't want to work....
As well, in August I read about how the service industries are adversely affected during boom times with employees leaving for the oil fields, hence they pay far better than average, median wage Texas $15.14

DJ, Texas imports to Mexico far outweigh what oil & gas do for the Texas economy.........I cannot find what I read yesterday but if my recollection is correct it is something like 83 billion.......what I am posting now is older but imo the trend has only improved.........
good relations with Mexico is healthy for the overall Texas economy, which by other states standards is booming.......

DJ,
I'd take these "Perry is to blame" agents a little more seriously if they took their own "reason" and "logic" a little more seriously.
Eg. They're very good at telling us what Perry is NOT responsible for, like the profusion of jobs in Texas.
Question: Why aren't they equally good at telling us that Washington DC, not a State (or Obama, NOT Perry)is
responsible for border security? The border is fundamental to the defense of US integrity, which is why it is a federal mandate. If this isn't clear to the Perry bashers you cite, DJ, maybe you can remind them (whether or not they take from the Trial Lawyers)? Perry has tried to help them out with their logic. He's said he's tried to get the Feds to do their job in Texas. DJ, I get the impression that you probably want the Feds to do their job, but in the meantime you'll blame the State authority for not doing what only DC can do, right?

'The Texas Miracle'
by Steve Sailer
[...]
A couple of additional Texas themes of [Steve Sailer] that may become conventional wisdom in, oh, a half dozen years are.
•The bad news for Democrats from the Texas experiment is that it suggests that driving down the skill level of the population through mass immigration means that the only affordable, feasible kind of government in a future heavily mestizo America is a low tax - low spend - low regulation - conservative value Texas-style Republicanism.
•The bad news for Republicans out of Texas is that just such policies attract in so many immigrants and encourage so much fertility among immigrants that the Republicans will eventually get swamped demographically.

personally, I think Perry has stated quite well the Texas/Mexico relationship & how beneficial it is to both. He has also stated that protecting our borders is the FED's JOB & how much is mandated by the Fed in regards to Texas taking care of illegals....& how much this costs Texas taxpayers.....
Is Perry perfect? Imo, if Perry can make the rest of the country look anything like the Texas economy, I would have to state YES.........

Hey DJ, what's your "Michigan's Fave" Romney gonna do to the Jesus-oriented Cowboy tonight in FLA? Perry called your guy 'Obamalite'. i.e is calling Mitt, in effect, "the white Obama" not an authentic bitch-slap? Is your guy gonna take it? (I know he's not your #1 choice, but you'll take him over the Jesus-oriented cowboy, right?)
Look, we know that Bachmann will attack him from the Right with a giant hypodermic needle etc. But what's a Pander Guy (even with the insane Ethanol subsidy) to do from the Left of Perry? He's already knocked Perry for daring to say "Ponzi Scheme," (apparently forgetting that he Romney himself called it "a criminal fraud" etc. Guess he'll have to take the clever Trial Lawyer tack, blame Perry for the 'open border' and mass illegalismo, confident that the vote cattle won't realize that only the Feds can really handle the border, and then show us how he, who's never been in the border trenches like Perry has been his whole life, is the Corporate Charley who can man up (when he's not busy flip-flopping on almost every issue he's ever dealt with.)
Got the popcorn (or nachos) ready? Will Bachmann do a flying tackle on Perry's nurse wife too? Will Santorum hold up a foetus replica? Will Herman Cain in disgust throw pizzas at everybody? Will Ron Paul finally fess up and yell "F---k Israel!" Will Newt say the level of discourse has to be raised, and start reading from his latest book, available at Amazon?
ps Since Perry is a "weak debater", and Perry will get gangbanged as the lead stallion, the post-debate poll numbers will clearly show Perry's commanding lead narrowing, right? Or will Karl Rove and SLIME prevent that? They plan to keep Perry in it, so he or Romney can win it, right?

I can always tell if someone has gone from being objective to personal in their writing. The one thing Erick has going is his objectivity in this race, telling it like it is.
He is right when it comes to Perry needing to up his ability to explain his decisions he’s made over his long tenure in leadership positions. There are many times where many of us here at RS have gone through and better explained why he decided the way he did.

neither Gardasil nor Immigration will hurt Perry in the general, just the primary.
There’s literally no way for Obama to believably move to the right of Perry on either issue, and Bachmann provides a cautionary example of what happens when one fails at it…
Perry’s actually better off quietly pointing at his existing on-the-record apology on gardasil, and standing by his immigration policies in Texas. A stronger defense of either risks blowing them up into a real problem.

THE WAR ON PERRY
REDSTATE///////Jennifer Rubin is at it again
Scope Thursday, September 22nd at 12:37PM EDT (link)
and her dislike of Perry has gotten her into trouble before when she tried to pin him as being a radical islamist sympathizer. It was proven that her scathing no facts or evidence article on Perry came from a liberal writer at Politico. Now she is going along with yet another liberal group in trying to prove Perry to be a “Crony Capitalist.” She has an article out today where she includes reports from the group Texans for Public Justice, which was started in Texas many years ago by Ralph Nader, and is now heavily funded by George Soros. In this article there are also reports from a group that has exposed the goals and initiatives behind the Texans for Public Justice group. Hah. The trial lawyers said that they were declaring war on Perry because of his signing tort reform and loser pays into law.
I know Rubin is a die hard Palin supporter, but how many times does she think she can get away with posting lies, half truths, and misstatements and retain any credibility.
Speaking of Palin. She promised her supporters that she would announce her decision by the end of Sept., in just 8 days. I’ve read that the SarahPAC just sent out a fundraising letter asking that her supporters to please give the biggest donation that they could manage, while Palin deliberates on her decision. Ha. Pay me while I decide. It is my understanding that the PAC monies cannot be transferred to a presidential campaign if Palin decided to run. So why are they asking for big bucks now just 8 days until decision deadline day.
I heard that the book The 10 Stages of Grief is going back into reprint and will be released by the end of Sept. Only kidding.

Thought of by Reagan, imlpemented by Bush and ONLY signed by Clinton. Presidents do that ALL THE TIME. Sighning former president's bills.
Conservative,"You mean a Republican caused NAFTA? No way! Will NEVER admit to it!" "We are the do no wrong party. My self-estem forbids me to do otherwise"
When ANYONE calls someone a Chink, it's racism.
Looks like that many Conservatives believe in being UN-PC, the new "Un-Cola". Just so they CAN call someone a Chink. Proof? Look in the archives.
