Over the weekend, Bill Clinton---our 42nd president and national treasure---played a round of golf with Barack Obama---our 44th president and national treasure.
No good can come of this.
They weren't out there on the links for yuks. And nothing either of them does is without careful deliberation.
They were negotiating one of two things:
Either 1. The Clintons want to run Hillary in a primary challenge against Obama, and Bubba was extracting concessions from the Bama to stop her from doing so.
OR 2. They were negotiating Hillary's terms for leaving her job at the State Department and running with the Bama as his VP. (Biden? Who's Biden? Oh, you mean that guy who's just developed some unspecified "health issues?")
The second scenario is more likely. Watch what happens. The Bubba LOATHES the Bama, and vice versa. A friendly round of golf was not the purpose of their friendly round of golf.
The Bama is going to need to jazz his ticket if he's going to have any hope of winning re-election. What better move than to dump the old white male gaffe machine and replace him with the woman for whom many Democrats still pine?
Fasten your seatbelts. The Clintons are back in the driver's seat.

Monica, from the land of the little guy.........it appears NO ONE is in the drivers seat........over the cliff, bound we are...........
since this bumpy ride we have had our seatbelts fasten, up to today's speed, we are waiting for the air bags to engage.........
NO WAY HIL IS TAKING A BACK SEAT AGAIN.......

The premise seems more like a sexist projection.
Why wouldn't President Obama just invite Hillary Clinton for a round of golf to discuss these things? You're saying that Barak needs to run it by Bill first before inviting Hillary onto the ticket?

Your observations are clearly accurate, but your use of the term "Bama" to refer to the president is both grating and insulting to the Great Bama Football program and all who support it.
It would be less jarring to a few million people if you will select another institution to denigrate and cease trashing Bama supporters

Barry would have power players like Hill and Bill hovering around him for four years? He's considered smart, no? The Bama Brain, David Axelrod, hasn't briefed the Man Child on Vince Foster yet, a White House casualty of July 20, 1993?
Oh, that's right. Foster was ruled a suicide.
Would such a ruling be accepted for someone of muslim culture?
I'm not necessarily disagreeing with Monica, but can we re-format this a bit?

Hillary would be fine with me. But why does Bill have to negotiate on her behalf? Is this not proof we still live in a sexist society?

My guess : Clinton told our elected leader that he will suffer as did Lyndon Johnson, and disappear if he does not get with/stay with the global agenda. The IMF is looking for bailout money.
There is a bridge to Oakland that is being erected by the Chinese, the state contract going to the lowest bidder. the supports the Chinese regime, and their bids are not equal to our own, since they receive social aid from their government, and do not have to support themselves and their families as we do in a free society. To keep these contracts from going to foreign countries (imagine Chinese firemen in San Francisco on contract) , our national leaders need to access a tax, so that US workers need not bid with Chinese submissions, but only other US companies and adjusted Chinese bids. This would give our government more taxes, and equate labor standards and currencies, so they are on par.

That said, and to illustrate what lying hypocrites the liberal-racists are, we must shine the light on Obama's latest program to get reelected; it's called "Operation vote".
Basically the straidy is to form a coalition of minority "social constructs" and pit them against the majority "social construct".

Obama Subdividing America (Along Racial Lines)—to Win
By Patrick J. Buchanan on September 26, 2011
"Now even as we speak, there are those who are preparing to divide us, the spin masters and negative ad peddlers who embrace the politics of anything goes.
"Well, I say to them tonight, there's not a liberal America and a conservative America; there's the United States of America. There's not a black America and white America and Latino America and Asian America; there's the United States of America."
That was state Sen. Barack Obama in his keynote address to the 2004 Democratic convention. His rejection of tribal politics, his stirring call to national unity, vaulted him into the Senate and was the first step on the path that took him to the White House.
Well, that was then, but now is now.
According to The Washington Post, Obama's 2012 campaign is today busily subdividing the nation into racial, ethnic and religious enclaves for targeted appeals to find a "narrow path to victory."
Setting one tribe against another, one faction against another, divide and conquer, is among the oldest tactics of politics and war.

Rick Perry, authentically supportive
By MAGGIE HABERMAN | 9/25/11 3:24 PM EDT
Rick Perry has engulfed himself in Mideast politics with a hardline stand support Israel in his presidential campaign, a move that his backers and campaign have said comes from the heart, and predates the campaign.
I've written about his relationship with the Jewish community in Texas, where several people insisted he has Jewish supporters from around the state, and has honored holiday customs from the government office.
And indeed, here is video from the governor's office from last December, during a Hanukah lighting ceremony in which Perry goes the full nine yards taking part in the traditions - including, at around the 4:55-minute mark, dancing with the rabbis.

Perry: Don’t elect ‘smoothest debater’
By Cameron Joseph - 09/23/11 01:51 PM ET
After another rocky debate performance, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, a candidate for the White House, said in a Friday speech that Republicans should not necessarily back "the smoothest debater" for president.
"As conservatives we know that values and vision matter. It’s not who is the slickest candidate or the smoothest debater that we need to elect. We need to elect the candidate with the best record and the best vision for this country," he said at a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Florida. "The current occupant of the White House can sure talk a good game, but he doesn’t deliver."
gringoNOTE: But we are told that the electorate automatically goes for Smoothie Man in debate. We are told that Obama can be taken by the White Obama, but not by Evangelical Cowboy. So who's right---Perry or the experts on Vote Cattle?
PERRY////"The model for socialized medicine has already been tried and it failed, not just in Western Europe but in Massachusetts ... what’s happening in Massachusetts gives us a window into this country’s future," he said. "If RomneyCare cost Massachusetts 18,000 jobs, just think what it will do to the rest of this country."

here is some stats on Perry's stance on immigration

I like Texas & its preNafta feel & can only believe that the governor has quite abit to do with it.....

How SERIOUS right thinkers could think Romney could be better than Perry, suggests to me they endorsed John McCain..........
