The latest health care monstrosity---the Senate bill---clocks in at over $1 trillion (when you add in the $210 billion "doctor fix" they are trying to hide from you) and over 2000 pages.

Under parliamentary rules, if a Senator demands it, the bill must be read in its entirety before formal debate can begin. Oklahoma Republican and taxpayer savior Dr. Tom Coburn is threatening to do just that.

I hope he follows through on that threat. Frankly, it's the only way to get lawmakers to hear the thing, because we all know they won't read it.

And here's a fun fact: with pauses for breaths, bathroom breaks, and sips of water (or something stronger, and I wouldn't blame the Senate clerk for smuggling in flasks of adult beverages), a full read-through could take up to 52 hours. Another fun fact: Senate rules state that every bill "shall receive THREE readings prior to its passage."

I wouldn't trust Mary Matalin as far as I could throw her. Afterall, she married one of the most vicious, obnoxious, sleazy liberal-racist hacks on the scene - birds of a feather and all that.

Obviously, Matalin's main concern is to protect her duplicitous freinds [Schmidt and Wallace]. It boils down to wheater the reader beleives Sarah Palin's account of what happend, or that of Schmidt and Wallace.

Human beings have no human enemies insofar as Christ is concerned; ALL are equally unrighteous in the sight of God. All are equally loved and have an equal potential for redemption. IF they truly repent and ask.

We fight against principalities and powers not of this earth, not each other.

And of THAT Enemy, God has give us ALL POWER OVER.

I agree with DJ. I was listening to Imus interview Mary Matalin during the campaign and I had the impression that she was sabotaging Gov. Palin.

Savage always said that he thought people were sabotaging McCain's campaign and predicted that people from the campaign would end up in the Obama administration. Isn't it interesting that Nicole Wallace had a contract with CBS that she was trying to protect when she set up the Palin interview with Katie Couric?

Isn't it interesting how they fact check Gov. Palin's book, but give the Obama, Biden and Al Gore a pass? (Rush has been fact checking Al Gore's book and you should see what he found. See his site.)

Senate ObamaCare Cloture Vote On Saturday!

Kill the BILL Today - Stop ObamaCare In The Senate!

Alert: We Have the Chance to Kill Socialized Medicine TODAY -

HUMAN EVENTS///////Reid and Senate Democrats announced they will file cloture today on the motion to proceed regarding ObamaCare. He will go to the floor for cloture on the motion to proceed to a House-passed tax bill, to begin the Senate debate on ObamaCare.

This vote will require 60 votes and will likely occur on Saturday.

Several Democrats have said they will not vote for the bill. Remember cloture is a three day process - file on day one, day two is an intervening day and the vote occurs on day three. Reid is using a House-passed tax bill as a "shell" allowing him to offer up the language he released tonight as a substitute amendment if he gets cloture on the motion to proceed.

Reid's Senate version of ObamaCare calls for:
Hiding the $1.8 Trillion price tag by not accounting for actual costs.
Major reductions in Medicare befits to seniors.
Major Tax Increases on every American to pay for it all.
Reid called for increasing the Medicare payroll tax.
