gringoNOTE: Suggestion, Cara Mia, for tonight's show......

MUSLIM HAS MATZOH BALLS

NY POST//////Mohamed Salem is one Muslim who really knows his matzo balls.

As owner of Adelman's Kosher Deli and Restaurant in Brooklyn, the Egyptian immigrant dishes out pastrami on rye, knishes and sour pickles to his predominantly Jewish patrons -- and shrugs off the ethnic oddity of the arrangement.

"The Jewish religion is very close to my religion," said Salem, 49. "This is the way Jews and Muslims used to be. Why is it not that way now?"

The former archaeologist worked at the Midwood eatery for 20 years before he bought it in 2006.

"I forgot about archaeology and got to know more the corned beef and pastrami," he said.

RYE OBSERVATION: Mohamed Salem shows off his wares at Adelman's Kosher Deli in Brooklyn.
Salem pays a rabbi to inspect the kitchen to make sure everything is kosher.

Escaping Politically Correct

Truther

One of the major problems we face is the corruption of the system from outside. In embracing openess, we have invited in the great uninitiated, posing as their
betters in a poorly structured and disciplined system. As a man on Wall St. stated "There is a strong sense that we are going backwards".

If global plans are actually carried out, it may take centuries for the splendor of what was America to emerge.

Truther

It is literally the start of a "Dark Age". It also happened to Rome.

We could still moderate this, but .... it is like no one is in control.

david

I heard about this show called the Rachael Madcow show. Can someone tell me what station she's on.

xbjllb

"Can someone tell me what station she's on." - David

----

No.

xbjllb

New CNN Poll... only 20% of Americans call themselves GOP.

Isn't that like an all-time record? At least in the last century or so?

Ummahgummah

.

David.. if you really want Madcow disease.. try Air 'America'.

Thanks Ree. Love George Stephanopolous, even if he is a liberal and disagrees with Sean. I am addicted to his Sunday show and I like George Will. George S. is professional, smart and fair. He should visit Imus and Sean often, and he can bring Diane Sawyer with him.

I was watching Diane Sawyer fill in for Charles Gibson and what a power team she has on her disposal. They showed her reporting the story and flashed to George S, Jake Tapper and Martha R. ABC Evening News is going to shake up our evening when Diane takes over. Hope she buries the other 2.

Rob was really funny with the skit right before Andrew Dice Clay. Imus should just blow off MSNBC and CNN and replace them with some dynamic new talent like George S. He has a whole comedy team at his disposal. Less guests = MORE BERNARD!!!!!!

I thought Tony was joking about Octamom. Can’t the libs go after the parents in these reality shows for child abuse?

M/M,

Savage meanly calls Hannity "The Wall-banger," but I like him. He gets away with the Catholic boy-next-door quality because (1)he's affable when not getting too syrupy (2)it seems to be really him (3) he does a lot of homework (4) he bolsters it all with a certain fighting Irish streak which I admire.

Now why doesn't he have on Warrior Woman Orly Taitz, the attorney from ex-Soviet Union who is working night and day on Obama's eligibilty to occupy the White House, let alone usher in the Socialist States of America? Nobody is asking Sean to take a position on the issue. Nobody is saying he has to say or do anything that would let the leftniki and Republican Wuss brand him as a "birther." All he has to do is his job as an interviewer to find out what is happening in this case.

By the way, Steve Malzberg on WOR, now in direct competition with Sean, is and has been having Orly Taitz on for updates. Malzberg is not flinching from this, and I don't see him taking flack as a "birther." He's just letting Taitz, who has many detractors, say what she has to say and answer his questions. What's the problem? What are the others afraid of?

Incidentally, Malzberg says that he is now beating Sean in the New York ratings. I was stunned to hear that.

Can you believe it?

Imus is the most serious buffoon out there and, in a weird way, the manliest sissy-boy.

Is that enough? No,as Reverend Al Sleaze has proved. But it tells you something about the rest of the media.

M/M

Savage insults everyone and he does it well. He is now calling Glenn Beck “Hem” (which I found amusing.) Savage just told Tom Brokaw and NBC something to the effect that we (his audience) could care less what they think because we don’t listen to them or respect their opinions.

A lot of my friends don’t like Sean either, but I like him because, even if he is “a nice guy” he still is not afraid to “put himself out there” like he did with Imus. Like I mentioned to UG, I really feel relaxed after listening to his show. It is a refreshing escape from THE PERVERTS in the media.

Don’t know what to say about Sean’s ratings but I’m sure he’ll figure it out.

Ummahgummah

.

M/M, are you sure that Gringoman is a fan of imus because I don't think I got that.

PS. Gringoman is 100% spot-on about Hanity being too syrupy.. ugh!

I like Malzberge better because he's a bit more dogged and vitriolic in his commentary. And less afraid to tackle any issue too!

REV SHARPTON AND THE MOB

FRANZESE/////For those of you who are unfamiliar with my background, I was once a caporegime (captain) in the Colombo organized crime family, one of the five La Cosa Nostra families headquartered in New York. My story has been well documented over the years in government reports as well as in the media. I became a “made” member of the family in 1975. My father, Sonny Franzese, was at one time the underboss of the family. In 1985 I pled guilty to racketeering in federal court and sentenced to 10 years in prison. I have since walked away from that life. The fact that I have been successful in doing so and manage to stay alive has been the subject of several books and television shows and covered extensively in the media.

In the early 1980’s, while an acting Capo in the Colombo family, I was introduced to Reverend Al Sharpton by Julie and Roy Rifkin, two brothers who owned an R & B record label in NYC called Spring records. The Rifkins would hire the Reverend Al to steer black recording artists to sign with their label. He wasn’t in the best financial condition at the time and offered his services to me should I ever need someone with influence in the black community. He told me he was a person to be trusted and that he was a close associate of Genovese family capo, Danny Pagano. I told him I would keep that in mind. As it turns out, I would later reach out to the Reverend Al to arrange a meeting for me with Don King to discuss doing some co-promotions with two aspiring fight promoters with whom I had recently become involved. Before approaching Sharpton, I did contact Pagano and asked him about the Reverend. He told me that Sharpton was “a gun for hire” and would deliver his people to me for a price; in the same way he delivered black artists to the record labels. I later met with Sharpton, introduced him to the two fight promoters and told him to arrange a meeting with Don King.

I made it very clear to the Reverend that the two promoters claimed they were former drug dealers and that if a deal with King came together, he would get a cut of whatever money was earned as a result of the co-promotions with King. It was several months before a meeting actually took place with King.

Imus is the most serious buffoon out there and, in a weird way, the toughest sissy-boy.

Is that enough? No, as the Reverend Al Sleaze proved last year, acting like he owned Imus, and Imus still hasn't thrown off the chains completely.

But it tells you something about the rest of the media.

COWBOY LOGIC/////3 hours ago
Breaking Newz.........
"Obama Administration Sets Race Relations Back to Pre-1964 levels."
It is disgusting what this is devolving into. Al Sharpton thought he was dealing with the doddering old fool Don Imus when he just took on Rush Limbaugh. Rush will hand him his head on a barbecue splattered paper plate. I wonder where the Right Reverned Jessee Jackson is? Probably hiding in the parking lot, like he did the night MLK got shot.

This is the greatest show on earth, that isn't under a tent.

Oh he's feckless all right, but luckily for the cash register, I-Man is unique in his own warped way. A Roger Ailes would not have brought him to Fox as just an ordinary carnival freak show. The ratings indicate that Ailes knew what he was doing. There are still enough buyers for what Imus is selling.

Truther

I see nothing wrong with our current process for EL Quada
POW's. After debriefing, and considering them "neutralized" as far as information is concerned, they are being released in Saudi Arabia. After a period of which the Saudis determine what to do with them.

If we happen to follow them after release, consider them dangerous, then they are then physically neutralized by privateers. This is a practical way to handle them.

M/M

This is what Gringoman said about Hannity. Hannity does get "syrupy" but he still is NOT AFRAID to tackle the important topics like Sharkton. I understand that not everyone likes him but he does seem to have a huge following. He has been #2 for a long time.

As for Gringoman and Imus, if Gringoman hates him so much, why does he keep watching him?

M/M

Oh, by the way, I don't like Mark Levin. Now, that Savage has his mojo back, he is better than ever.

M/M

Rush doesn't like George Stephanopolous. Too bad.
