Princess, here is a suggestion for a segment. It is admittedly dangerous and radical. The Revolt of the Robots may even revile you for it during the current Third Reich-like frenzy over groin-master JACKO. You don't have to use dicey pejoratives, like, 'There was a time, before it all hung out, before the thugging, the teabagging, the dirtbagging, before the exciting junglefication of American culture...."
Here's what you do. Raise your pretty head above the giant waves of the current JACKO Tsunami. Remind folks of an authentic genius in American pop culture, a magician of lost arts like melody and emotion (as opposed to ghetto snarling at the booboisie). Remind them that this man is the most recorded musician in history. Remind them that his work is more played around the planet than even Bach, Mozart, Elvis Presley, the Beatles, and yes, even JACKO. It would do Bill proud, no? Isn't he a Culture Warrior who understands the difference between music and electronics?
Remind them that this past Sunday was the 107th birthday of a dead white man named RICHARD RODGERS.
Just make sure you have a good fallout-shelter.

Oh, all right, Monica. Raising the fair head we admire above the gigantic waves of the current JACKO Tsunami and channeling The Great Richard, would be a challenge, not to mention risky.
Maybe it's best to stick to something like BamBam's latest 'Change We can Deceive In'? E.g. Re Honduras, his siding with 'The People's Paragons' such as Hugo Chavez, Daniel Ortega and of course El Commandante Fidel, as depicted in this cartoon by the brilliant Cuban emigre, Ramirez....

Gringo! Why I couldn't agree more, Richard Rodgers, now there's a real musical genius! And where would the world be without his discoveries like Shirley Jones and Lesley Ann Warren?
Centuries from now, folks will be humming his melodies when MJ... well, there you go, you've gone and figured out Michael Jackson's strategy for history:
By being the world's most notorious pedophile, he'll be remembered and reviled long after his music has been completely and justifiably forgotten!
But then, even Fatty Arbuckle had a sell-by date...

Monice, great job hosting the Factor last night. You are a natural at it and always keep it interesting. You can tell you hosted your own show before (on another unnamed network) because you are a pro at it. I just hope and pray that Foxnews will wake up one day and give you a show of your own. If Geraldo and Huckabee can do it, you can blow them out of the water. Keep up the good work. I don't even miss Bill O'Reilly when you host.

The Jackson's are well on the way to changing Neverland Ranch into a theme park and Jackson museum. Now the reason for planting all the rumors of the cause of his death and his being the Black Elvis is becoming apparent. The LA machine really puts it out, don't they? Limbaugh is off the beam on this one.
There is all the supposed celebration of his music, but actually he must have been spending his time doing something else because there is not a whole lot of it.
Posted by: Truther | June 30, 2009 at 02:41 PM
Tthat was the plan all along, possibly going back a year or so. They are trying to make it into a theme park for Jackson and make a billion dollars. Would you go? I wonder if they will have a room describing closeted gays, celebrities who hide AIDS, and have pedophilac tendencies?
MJ was a gay marriage in one person.

IF a person is a hermaphrodite, should they be allowed to marry themselves, or adopt children?

FRAUD didn't seem to bother you as much back in 2000/2004. It goes around and comes around.

There was no fraud in 2000/2004 but there sure WAS fraud when Kennedy got elected!
Which eneabled his corrupt brother Ted who wrote the initial immigration bill which has proved a DISASTER for this nation!
Let's not forget that in 2000 the Gore people only wanted to recount a few SELECT counties and the Republicans said OK but let's count them all then.
The Demoncrites said no. They knew the outcome.

Good lord! The thought of Stewart Smalley as a senator is about as appealing as listening to Amy Winehouse singing and anthology of Barry White songs. Blaaaaaaah!
BTW - Ol' Billy O must be pulling what remains of his hair out after hearing his buddy, Schmuck Smalley, is acually a U.S. senator.

I can’t believe HOW JEALOUS those fat, old, terminally divorced Republicans are over all the women who admire Gov. Sanford. I really get a kicked over THESE guys LECTURING us on morality.

“It’s a love story worthy of a treacly Nicholas Sparks novel. A high-ranking politician sneaks away from the pressures of political life to meet his secret lover — a beautiful, intelligent brunette from Argentina. He's willing to risk anything, even a potential shot at the presidency, to be with her. In the meantime, he plies her with hopelessly romantic love letters.
In today's Twitter- and text-obsessed world, passionate letters — even long e-mails — are rare. Washington hasn't had a good love letter since the release of some of the 1,300 letters between President Harry Truman's and his wife Bess during their nearly 60-year romance, and the more recent private-turned-public expressions of amour have been significantly less emotional. Consider the phone conversations between President Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky, or Rep. Mark Foley's salacious instant messages sent to a young congressional page.

Monica, you looked so beautiful and you did an amazing job guest-hosting the Factor tonight! Dressed in white and with that splendid necklace, your eyes were just magical, like never before. Of course, in case that weren't enough, you have such a lovely nature and you are highly intelligent.
The show was lots of fun to watch. I agree with STEVEOK, who says that you should have your own show on Fox. Another quality of yours that I truly appreciate is that you don't get all angry or bitter on TV with all the madness of the left; instead, you strongly disagree, your points are clear, but you remain serene and in a good mood.
Again, congratulations Monica, and keep up the great work!

“Give it a rest. The man didn't commit murder here. He's in love. Anarchic, hurtful, but seemingly true love. Governor Sanford of South Carolina had what would, under ordinary circumstances, be considered an ideal romantic relationship in the 21st century. Slow to evolve and based on proven mutual friendship and respect, it was eight years in the making. The woman involved, Maria, was not offensively younger than he. She was not his intern, his boss, his student, his financial contributor. He was hardly using her for sex--indeed, he had not spent that much time in her company, as they lived on different continents. Nor was he deceiving her: He told her his family obligations, his pleasures, his fears. She even told him of the men trying to seduce her. In fact, they told each other so much (and slept with each other so little) that they left a huge paper trail--or cyber trail, rather--for their enemies to scrutinize. More hedonistic pairs leave far less ample evidence for their sins. But Mark and Maria confided in each other constantly. They supported each other tenderly ("I want to help [one of your sons] with film guys that might help his career ...") They forgave each other's differences--Maria's insecurity ("you do not need a therapist to tell you who you are") and the governor's prudishness ("that would be going into sexual details," he smiles, "...and unlike you, I would never do that!").”

We agree with Scoobie that Newt Gingrich's serial wife-dumping was worse than Bill Clinton's sexual escapades. In 1981, Newt dumped his first wife, Jackie Battley, for Marianne, wife number 2, while Jackie was in the hospital undergoing cancer treatment. Marianne and Newt divorced in December, 1999 after Marianne found out about Newt's long-running affair with Callista Bisek, his one-time congressional aide. Gingrich asked Marianne for the divorce by phoning her on Mother's Day, 1999. [Source: New York Post, July 18, 2000, Newt's Ex Wife Aiming to Pen Book by Bill Sanderson, available on lexis].
