I'm not crazy about salon Republicans. Sometimes I think Monica isn't either, despite her fidelity to Georgie Bush et al.

"The people met generally, with anxiety and alarm in their countenance," Jefferson recalled, "and the effect of the day, through the whole colony, was like a shock of electricity, arousing every man...." The counties chose delegates to the provincial convention, which in turn concluded its work in August by electing delegates to the first Continental Congress convened in Philadelphia in September.

A little "tea party" in Boston had mushroomed into a mighty storm uniting the continent.

Hey Gringoman, Monica must have been discussing your obsession with cyberstalking with Bill O'Reilly. Check out the Captain Phillips' video and see who the pinhead is.

M/M,

In all the copious data on cyberstalkers, published by law enforcement and criminologists, "obsession" is a term used for the stalker, not the one stalked. That holds true whether the stalking is online or, as in a previous case when Monica was stalked prior to monicamemo, offline. Maybe I missed something? I don't recall any of the press reports saying that Monica had the "obsession." (Here at monicamemo, did anyone fail to recognize Gilbert Washington Slimebert's "obsessions"? Or if the wretch had posted things like your home address here, or how to find where you lived, would you see yourself as the one with the "obsession"?)

ps. Thanks for link to that Fox video, but the video isn't opening. I'll try again later.

M/M

Gringoman,

I haven’t really thought much about cyberstalking, but Acornbert WAS chasing you across the Internet and smearing you.

Truthfully, I’m conflicted after Monica’s appearance on the Imus show because she described herself the same way a certain person on this blog did before being corrected by Michael “I am a Conservative” Avari. The trolls are annoying but Monica seems to respect their Constitutional right to be obnoxious.

Althought the Left “doesn’t get it”, the Tea Parties were about defending the Constitution. Do trolls have First Amendment rights?

I can’t get into that Link, but go to www.foxnews.com and look for “O’Reilly’s Patriots and Pinheads video ” with Captain Phillips picture on it. The “featured Pinhead” is funny.

Chris Matthews and his retarded sidekick Keith Olbermann are the "Lord Haw Haw" of the modern day media. All during WWII Germany broadcasted across Great Britain with English speaking announcers that tried to demoralize the British and Americans. Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann did the same thing throughout the Iraq War. And they are continuing their assault on America even though the Bush Administration has ended they continue their assault on America as a torture nation that is oppressing the poor of the world by not opening our borders and by fighting terrorism.

Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann is the Lord Haw Haw of American journalism. I don't include Maddow in this group yet because I haven't figured out if Maddow is a he or a she yet. When I do Maddow can join the Lord Haw Haw comparison, until then I don't want to insult Lord Haw Haw.

M/M

Gringoman,

Monica’s show is REALLY good today. She is really angry about Obama releasing the documents describing torture techniques and asks Obama to release HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE and the name(s) of who financed Obama’s Harvard Education if he believes in transparency.

A caller name Laurie also asks that Obama is not providing
“Unwarranted secrecy regarding the largest disbursement of public funds in U.S. history continues in the executive branch. So Congress should finally exercise its oversight authority and find out where every last bailout dollar has been spent. Three major news organizations – Bloomberg News, Fox Business News, and The New York Times - had to file lawsuits against the Treasury Department and the Federal Reserve Board after they were refused bailout documents requested under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). All three were stiffed by an administration that failed to deliver on a promise of more government transparency and accountability. In response to its lawsuit seeking compensation agreements between the government and two of the largest bailout recipients, Fox finally received 10,096 pages of heavily redacted documents from Treasury showing that “virtually all the details of the bailout were worked out among a handful of lawyers.” Good. Congress just needs a handful of subpoenas to get to the bottom of it.
All three news organizations still have FOIA lawsuits pending against the Fed. The Times suit, filed March 23, seeks documents concerning the Fed's decision to invoke emergency powers under the Federal Reserve Act in relation to the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) and the $787 billion Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. The paper also wants copies of all contracts with institutions that qualified for mind-boggling amounts of federal dollars in order to determine whether taxpayers were adequately protected.”

Having a regard for one's nation's sovereignty and Constitution is not racism, although people have construed it this way.

Yes, Monica is great when it comes to the 1st amendment. No one could be better.

What racism? Do you have specific examples?

I responded to your idea about the post office and I don’t think it would work. At first I thought the post office was losing revenue because people spend more time e-mailing and less time sending actual letters. People are also spending more time SHOPPING on the internet, so that means shipping and delivery services are more in demand. Why doesn’t the post office improve delivery services and find a way to compete with FED-X rather than get into a business they know nothing about?

I’m not sure that Nixon’s wage/price freeze was that good of an idea. I heard or read somewhere that prices were frozen temporarily, but inflation went crazy when wages and prices were unfrozen.

M/M,

Of course trolls have First Amendment rights. However, they do not have a right to come into my domicile and exercise those rights. How about yours? How about Monica's? In light of the stalker abuse, a lot of it dumped on Monica herself, it does appear that Monica considers entering her space here a right instead of a privilege.

Or maybe you wouldn't mind one of these creeps planting himself outside your door or place of work and exercising his "Constitutional rights"? I don't have to ask Monica. Her previous experience with an offline stalker, as reported in the press, answers for her. I believe the creep in that case saw himself as using his Constitutional rights to convey his true feelings to Monica. Monica's interpretation of his rights apparently was less liberal, and law enforcement came over to her view.

I'm just not sure how updated she is on today's cyberstalking and what it means, judging by the number of times she's been viciously and obscenely insulted here. Or maybe she's tolerant and cyber-liberal about it because the perp or perps hasn't posted any of her personal data here yet, like where she lives etc. That might get her attention, don't you think?

I agree. Monica was cooking today. FYI. Re the birth certificate for Bamacito. She did not raise the issue herself. She was answering a caller who raised it. But her answer was good. She didn't shy away from the "sensitive" issue which the Obots (and even wuss Republicans or "conservatives") try to mock as something for "birthers" or "troofers."

She said the caller was spot on and even awarded him something to chew.

Who knows where this could lead? Monica interviewing Dr. Orly Taitz, the blonde tigress who continues to claw away on the issue of Bamacito's Constitutional elegibility for POTUS?

I didn’t agree that we should be in IRAQ and I was helping a guy from MOVE ON.ORG protest the war before the first shots were fired. I met two young men who were going overseas and they asked me why I was protesting the war and wasn’t I concerned them about 9/11. I told them I was and I explained my point of view, but I never forgot them and what they did for our country.

When the first shots were fired, I stopped protesting because I would overhear women in the market discussing how the protesters upset them, so I attended support the troops rallies instead.
I don’t hate George Bush, but I never voted for him, and I WAS OUT in the streets trying to stop the war. With the 2010 elections approaching, I would like to remind everyone who voted for it because I certainly never forgot.

Basically, because we didn't do the things that blew other banks up," Clark said.

And neither did TD Banks's Canadian brethren. In the last quarter of 2008, all of Canada's major banks were profitable, collectively making $2.5 billion during a period when U.S. banks lost more than $26 billion.

In fact, since the financial crisis began, American taxpayers have provided more than $300 billion dollars to more than 450 companies. During that same period, from their government, Canadian banks have not received one penny.”

Hmmmm…..

"A lot of this is about saying, 'Here are old banking rules, and we're prepared to give up short term profit in order to make sure we have a balance sheet that doesn't blow up on us,'" Clark said.

One reason why Canada is the only industrialized nation in the world without a single bank failure in the current economic downturn. “

Oh, but they DO "get it".

Last thing they want is for the Constitution to be defended.

The Bill of Rights and our Laws are something to be manipulated and abused in the furtherance of the goals of our enemies.

Thus islamic killer imams are free to preach our destruction.. to in fact exhort their murderous minions to perpetrate a holocaust of Global proportions.

The ACLU first in front, goose stepping arm in arm with the SPLC.

Sick bastards all of them.

Their reaction about the right to publish cartoons about a certain pedophile murder the nu-fascists consider their "prophet" spoke VOLUMES.

The sound of their silence was DEAFENING.

That's what's so scary about the whole thing.

Ummahgummah

EMINEMSREVENGE, are you dissing the Rastas?

I don't recall Haile Selassie to be "appalled" at the adoration accorded him by thousands of Rastas chanting his name into the ganja smoke-filled skies.

He was certainly caught off-guard and had concerns for his security.

The address Mr. Selassie gave to the UN was one of the few great ones ever give to that perfidious body of international WEASELS and none other than Bob Nesta Marley immortalized the address in one of his most famous songs:

WAR

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFvuo41AoMU

I wonder what Bob Marley would say if he were alive today in the face of the islamic wqar of annihilation of non-moslems AND even of native African moslems in Sudan.

UG meets EminemsRevenge. This should be interesting. I’m impressed that you know who Haile Salassie and the Rastas are.

I’m impressed with EminemsRevenge. He likes James Joyce and has a certain, creative edginess about him. He has made some good points about excessive taxation and the bank robbers.

All the news clips I saw of the Tea Parties there was something OBVIOUSLY missing...any Black faces. I remember the anti-war protests when LBJ was in office, and whilst they continued when Nixon got in, he did get a grace period since he promised "peace with honor," however slight that period might have been.

GW bankrupts the country BEFORE 9/11, runs up a deficit with TWO wars going, and created the TARP plan to bail out his buddies...where were the Tea Parties then???

As for MY vision of the Post Office in banking...I think that by going into credit cards and mortgages they can not only set the bar for the industry, and therefore keep them HONEST, but it would be better for WE THE PEOPLE!!!

And the money they'd generate could be used for the deficits that have been created under Obama...yeah, I don't think him entirely blameless like all the Obamaniacs who thinks he walks on water.

M/M

UG,

I don’t anything about the Rastafarians. I was impressed that YOU knew about them.

EminemsRevenge was talking about the tea parties and how we should be protesting the MTA fare increase in NYC, the high percentages that banks are charging on credit cards when WE ARE BAILING THEM OUT, an introduced an idea that the post office should offer credit cards. I mentioned to him that the media is portraying Tea Parties as anti-Obama rallies, but they are actually concerned citizens, just like him, who are concerned about the very same issues.

I don’t want to do anything about Janeane Garafolo, Keith Olbermann, and Chris Matthews because they are exposing the Left for the hateful and mean-spirited people that they really are. The Left makes such an issue of racial profiling and perpetuating negative stereotypes, but they have no problem CREATING a smear campaign against peaceful citizens who take they time to peacefully assemble in the spirit of the Founders and the U.S. Constitution.

I was reading some of the other websites about the tea parties and people were talking about the DHS report too. I thought talk radio was exaggerating when I heard about the DHS report, but the trolls were out in full force and they were really offensive. Between the DHS report comparing our troops to Timothy McVeigh and the Left’s smear campaign against the tea parties, people are really getting disgusted.

M/M

EminemsRevenge, contrary to what you’ve heard in the lamestream media, the tea parties IS a grassroot movement. Everyone who wanted to attend was welcome, but people might have been intimidated because of some of the reporting from the lamestream media, which I no longer watch.

Here is a link to our discussion on TARP in September, when Bush was president.
http://monicamemo.typepad.com/weblog/2008/09/index.html

The people who attended the Tea Parties are not professional protesters, but concerned citizens who are tired of being ignored by our “ELECTED WHORES”. If you remember, Bush AND Pelosi tried to shove TARP through very quickly. People like Michelle Malkin (R) were opposed to TARP from the first hour and provided phone numbers to Congress on her blog. I called my Senators and Congressman every day, along with Senator Shelby (AL) and Congressman Mike Pence (IN) in opposition. We also heard certain Senators talking about the OVERWHELMING amount of e-mails, faxes and phone calls that they received in opposition, but voted yes anyway.

Here is our National Debt. This is like a credit card. I heard Newt say that a 20 year old person will have to pay $116,000 more in taxes just to pay off the interest. People are concerned about “generational theft”.
http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/

Printing all this money has consequences, and could create a hyper-inflation. In addition, keep borrowing from the Chinese. How are you going to protest human rights violations when you have to worry about them calling in our debt?

M/M (You too, Ummah)

ER is welcome to do some name-dropping on James Joyce or anyone else, as an indication that he reads or pays attention to the blurbs, and if he says he has nothing to do with Slimebert & Associates, I'm willing to accept his word at this time. Nevertheless, may I remind you: That talking point about no blacks at the tea parties of American taxpayers is not only classic liberal racism (as GRINGOBRO will make clearer and clearer and clearer) but it also typifies the classic race-baiting done by Gilbert Washington Slimebert. You disagree? Me, I'm relatively easy-going, but GRINGOBRO is astounded that Americans still fail to see how deeply and subtly they have been race-baited and manipulated by Libdom and the Marxie PC Police. Sometimes he laughs. Sometimes he howls.

Oh, and letting the post office do banking? That is also classic kakamamie Slimebert, the Obot who calls himself a 'black Republican'. Have you been to a U.S. Post Office lately?

M/M,

Do you know why nobody in the Lamestream or Shamestream
mentions Timothy McVeigh's muslim "friends" in the Oklahoma City bombing, even after Jayna Davis wrote a whole book about it, 'THE THIRD TERRORIST, The Middle East Connection to the Oklahoma City Bombing'?

http://www.jaynadavis.com/highlights.html

Ummahgummah

Gringoman,

BEST of luck with getting something done about Stalkingbert.

Not OUR fault if there were no "black faces" at the tea parties.

But there was nobody that wasn't invited.

Expept for ACORN thugs and various lib kooks, of course.

The lib media thinks there have to be "black faces" to legitimize things.

Some of these faces include the likes of Al Shmearton and other assorted "luminaries".

The MSM have long discredited themselves by calling these creeps "reverends" in the breahthless voice they reserve for just these people.

It's really disgusting what comes out of "journalism school" these days.

.

Ummahgummah

Gringoman, Kudos also for reminding everyone of the MOSLEM connection of Timothy McVeigh!!!

The libs also never want to hear about the NAZI connection of the moslems and how Hitler was egged on to the Holocaust by the "mufti of Jerusalem".

Why do so many moslems always carry signs that say "Hitler didn't finish the job"?

WHY IS THIS NEVER REPORTED IN THE MEDIA??!!

WHEN ALL OF US CAN SEE THIS LIVE ON OUR STREETS??!!!!

We also need tea parties against the media!

No cable for me.

Ummahgummah

Funny how the libs love to talk about Timothy McVeigh but they just can't be bothered with Clinton's pardons of FALN terrorists and Ayers/Dohrn setting educational agenda.

I guess as long as the terrorists are leftists or moslems, which let's face it more than 99.9999999% of them ARE, they're not really terrorists.

Their hypocrisy is so transparent.

The emperor wears no clothes. It is my mission to call attention to that fact.

from HUMAN EVENTS The extreme left-wing just unleashed the attack dogs on us. They're coming after us because you had the audacity to pummel the elites in the Mainstream Media with faxes demanding that they ask Barack Hussein Obama why he refuses to release an actual birth certificate.

You boldly told NBC, ABC, CBS, The Washington Post, The New York Times and a host of others to stop distorting and start reporting.

You told the Mainstream Media to adhere to acceptable standards of journalism and ask Barack Hussein Obama why there are teams of attorneys thwarting efforts to compel him to produce the ONE document that could prove he is NOT the Usurper-in-Chief... the ONE document that can prove he is eligible, under the Constitution, to be President of the United States.

And now, because you had the audacity to ask the question, the left-wing attack machine has put us in the crosshairs... they have their sites set on us!

Terry Krepel, the senior web editor for Socialist Billionaire George Soros' Media Matters just put out an inflammatory hit-piece on us in The Huffington Post and called us smear-mongers, right-wing hitmen and conspiracy theorists.

He even accused us of "naked partisanship" (We'd refute that one if we could figure out what he means by partisanship 'sans clothes' and also, whether Krepel actually believes that adherence to the Constitution is a partisan issue).

But to get back to the matter at hand... EXACTLY why is the left going after us?

That's simple... because you struck a nerve.

The plain and simple truth is that the far-left DOESN'T WANT ANYONE asking Barack Hussein Obama why he is REFUSING to produce his actual birth certificate.

Truther

Too bad wood nymph Boyle did not sing from behind a curtain, with a Ms America type lip sinking -like Paula Abdul did. Something like that could catch on. Imagine people back stage singing in a shower with a hydrophone.

To stop the degradation of our country - locked in a struggle with the banks is going to bring the country down over time. TO restore our country we should let the banks fail and just rebuild. Also we ought to get rid of our burgeoning servant class - our current illegal aliens. Then the country will be ripe for new growth and a return to middle class values.

We really have to do something before we all wind up in prison for voicing our opinions, and demanding our rights. Go to jbs.org and find out what is really going on

EminemsRevenge

UMMAH GUMMAH---Since my grandmother was a reporter for the Jamaica Daily Gleaner at the time, I tend to take her word for it...her word and quite a few people who witnessed it, including one of my Rastafarian cousins [THAT disillusioned the hell out of *him*].

M/M---Did you notice that Fox "news" ran Hannity's tea part ad infinitum Sunday??? And you really can't be THAT naïve! The last thing even remotely resembling a "grassroots" movement was the grape boycott in the Sixties in support of César Chávez and the UFW...but THAT was cross promoted by Joan Baez and Edward R Murrow's "Harvest of Shame."

Obama & Co. are pikers when it comes to WASTING MONEY...y'all need a primer on New York politics!

Take THIS for example: http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/dailypolitics/2009/04/senate-dems-go-it-alone-on-mta.html

LOOKS like a solution, but then there's the kickbacks that Malcolm Smith will be getting under the table, and for you non-racist Tea Partyers...Malcolm Smith sure ain't no W.A.S.P.---and then there's the Second Avenue line, which will be finished fifty years after the WTC is completed...it's BEEN on the drawing board for eighty years.
