At a campaign stop in Iowa yesterday, New York's Junior Senator simultaneously gave off the whiff of desperation AND played the old victim card.
Referring to what she has called her Democratic opponents' "piling on," Hillary Clinton lowered the boom: "I have said for months that I would much rather be attacking Republicans and attacking the problems of our country, because ultimately that's what I want to do as president, but I have been for months on the receiving end of consistent attacks."
Dramatic pause, and then: "Now the fun part starts."
The "fun" part is, of course the specialty of the Clinton Strike Force: against opponents, fire away with overwhelming criticism, fear and intimidation tactics, opposition research offloaded bit by bit, whispering campaigns, and denials, obfuscation, and stonewalling. She can't wait!
Queen Bee expected a coronation; ergo, her comments that she would have much rather spent her time attacking Republicans. But, woe is her. Girlfriend has some Democratic opponents who failed to yield to the Clinton Ladies Intervention Team, and now she's got to spend her time and resources trying to kneecap them. She is exasperated. She may as well have said, "I hope you're happy!"
So now she's out with the "victim" routine again. But look out! While she plays the damsel tied to the railroad tracks, her team is out there with machetes. Slashing and burning. After all, to them, it's "fun."

I think she is paranoid, but after being married to Bill after all these years it is probably understandable, but why would we want Captain Qweeg to be President? She believes there is a vast right wing conspiracy that is constantly attacking her and wanting to prevent her from reaching her destiny, which is to be the Supreme Goddess and Queen Bee of the Universe.
The Wall Street Journal is reporting today that she is going to propose a 90 day freeze on all mortgage foreclosures and a 5 year freeze on all interest rate adjustments for adjustable rate mortgages. This is price controls and will never work. It shows how leftwing and absurd her economic views are and how they will destroy our economy. She is a socialist. Taking the profits of corporations, tax increases, price controls, expanding Medicare Part D and No Child Left Behind, and more regulation, is a recipe for economic disaster of Biblical proportions.

Since Russert exposed the chink in Hillary's armor, her Democratic rivals, who had been in awe of her majesty, became encouraged and enboldened, and are now on the attack.
But, love or hate her, the woman is a competitor, and should never be underestimated.
Those guys should be advised to be ever vigilant, for its not safe to mess with an angry she-bear.

Monica,
First it was Rush, now Karl Rove is comparing Hillary to Richard Nixon. Please make them stop! They are insulting Richard Nixon.

Monica,
You are jealous because Hillary is great enough to have a ladies intervention team behind her.
All you have is this flotilla of weasels on here who are as fanatical as yourself, or worse. You are their leader because you are the most deceptive and prevaricating one among them.

Monica,
While this may indeed be the fun part, Hillary's campaign is doing an surprisingly poor job of how the fun is being conducted. She is coming off as a sniping little schoolkid; while Obama begins to look like the teacher.
The Clinton Campaign machine is in need of a major tune-up. Cheers from one of your new "weasels".

Great news Monica. I'm listening to WABC LIVE right now. Looking forward to hearing YOU LIVE on Saturday afternoon.

At one point in time the leftie media talked about the dream ticket of Clinton/Obama and they almost got giddy when talking about the prospect. You don't hear anyone from the leftie media talking about that anymore. Obama was once the darling of the leftwing media and almost crowned the next messiah for the Democratic Party, now no one talks about that anymore either. Since Obama has refused to kiss the ring of the annointed Hillary Clinton he has obtained the wrath of the Clinton machine and many in the leftie media. I actually admire his courage in taking on the Clinton machine. I don't agree with much of what he proposes but his courage in taking on the dragon has my admiration.

Is is good to see dialog working. We have the press picking up important issues in some cases, and "Washington think" hitting the people wall. This has thrown both parties in a reel. It is interesting because it is as if the people are campaigning to get the politicians to care about vital issues. Certainly opportunities exist for politicians who desire to say the things people want to hear.

Did anyone see Harry Reid's press conference yesterday? What a sorry excuse for a "man". The guy is the biggest snifling weinie I have ever seen. Big bad George Bush will not agree to the Democrats budget and a surrender plan for Iraq. Harry Reid cried like a baby for nearly 30 minutes whinning to the leftie media. Of course they were more than willing to cry along with him. The guy has no manhood whatsoever.

Truther sometimes I feel like I'm in a "reel" also, especially when I hear "Washington think". The other day I was driving down the highway and almost hit the "people wall".

"Age comes; but wisdom lingers."
It is generally thought that the older a person gets, the wiser he becomes, but its not true.
No matter how old it gets, a donkey can never be a Secretariat. Harry Reid will always remain a jackass.
Somehow, he reminds me of Baghdad Bob--Mohammed Saeed
al-Sahaf--Iraq's former delusional Information Minister.

Hillary is not Satan, but she is proving to be amateurish and outmoded.
I doubt if she can regroup. She is not the great hope of the Left as some people
had hoped.
Huckabee is looking pretty good, except I doubt if real conservatives could accept terminating the IRS.
SteveOK : I try to turn off talk radio while I am driving in serious traffic..

Hillary reminds me more of Eldridge Cleaver than Nixon.

Hillary has no one like Chuck Colson on her side. He has shown faith-based campaigning reduces ethical breaches by two-thirds.
