Democrats and liberals may be licking their chops at the thought of taking back control of Congress-- but not so fast! Nationally, Democrats must gain six seats to capture control of the Senate. That won't be easy-- especially since they're now fighting to hold on to a seat in Michigan. That's where the liberal Debbie Stabenow is facing a tough challenge from Republican Michael Bouchard. Bouchard will be my guest this weekend on the radio. With unemployment higher than the national average in Michigan and many residents frustrated with Democratic Governor Jennifer Granholm, this race is a good chance for a Republican swing-state victory. Bouchard is currently the sheriff of Oakland County, just outside Detroit. He's tough on crime, and understands the how we need to fight the war on terror.
