I just finished watching your appearance on the Imus in the Morning show and may I say that you were absolutely fabulous! I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that I've never watched you before now, but I associate most programming associated with MSNBC as way too "liberal" for my taste. I don't necessarily agree with the "extreme right wing" philosophy however do consider myself a "Regan Conservative". I was somewhat taken back to see & hear someone with such well thought out and tastefully articulated arguments on such a liberal program / network. You were without question a breath of fresh air. I have a difficult time understanding why the "major" news networks are unable to see themselves for what they are and why their ratings are in the cellar. Liberalism is hopefully a dying breed that is in my opinion, is destroying our society & culture as America. I feel that Dan Abrams was a wise choice as well. Hopefully one of his first moves will be to get rid of that obnoxious Keith Oberman. I love Imus, liberal as he may be, for his irreverent humor. You've got a new fan for life. Congratulations on you anchor position. I'll be sure to watch when able. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for pointing, in regard to the question of why we are in Iraq, that part of the War On Terror requires us to bring fundamental change to the Islamic world. I‘ve been waiting to finally hear someone mention it. Hannity, O'Rielly, Coulter et al are apparently unaware of this concept which was openly and universally agreed upon on 9/12. As soon as I heard you say that I became you’re devoted fan.

I did see your appearance on Imus. You were absolutely magnificent. You need to be what that self-absorbed jerk calls an “I-Fave” and I am a fan of his. That would vault you into regular appearances and help neutralize some of the liberals he puts on. Yes, he does have Pat Buchanan and a smattering of conservative leaning, thinking people but the ratio seems to be about 10-1 against us. Lest you forget, he IS an entertainer.

L-i-b-e-r-a-l. What a beautiful word. How easily it trips from the tongue. It has such a refreshing ring to it.
Didn’t you know? After years of trashing by the right wing, it is back in favor again. Americans are no longer falling for the “attack the word” policy of Republican Conservatives, where they obfuscate the true meaning of a word or concept and enshroud it in lies and propaganda.
Go on, I challenge you. Keep it up. Keep hitting the word liberal and you will bring about the opposite of what you are intending. You have said the word so many times, (whatever the scurrilous context); people like the sound of it again.
I say it again: L-I-B-E-R-A-L. What a wonderful word! What a wonderful sound! It is the bell of liberty—the marker for everything honest and humane in our society.
I shout it from the rooftops, LIBERAL! LIBERAL! LIBERAL!
It means what it says: LIBERTY!!!
It is what the Bill of Rights is all about. Petty minds and squalid politics will never destroy it.
Do you know what the new dirty word is? What, have you been out of town?
I’ll tell you. The new dirty word is “c-o-n-s-e-r-v-a-t-i-v-e”.

Your comments on the Imus show were all party-line predictable and utterly thought-less. You are defending the indefensible. You are supporting the illegal invasion of a sovereign country and the commission of terrorist acts by the U.S. Government.
I agree. The superpower U.S. can act and chew gum at the same time. It is you Monica who can’t think and chew gum at the same time. For your own sake, get out of your handler’s lap, open your mind, and for once in your insulated life, see what is actually going on in the world.
Did you ever take the time to think of another way Saddam and his brutal sons could have been handled legally, without invading Iraq?
No, of course you didn't. Here is another scenario. We, along with a coalition of other nations, could have gone to the world court and put them on trial as war criminals. If we couldn't arrange to get him and his sons there physically, we could have tried them in absentia, and convicted them to death.
Then it would have been perfectly legal for anyone, within his country or from without, to take him down. Believe me, there would be plenty of takers. As a result of the Gulf War, we already had Saddam in a box. He couldn't burp without the world knowing about it. The invasion was totally, and I mean totally, unnecessary.
Think, Monica, think!
